Chapter 82: I’m A Little Toad

It asked Jun Mohuang for a needle and hopped to the edge of the swamp. It used the needle to draw blood and dripped a drop of blood into the swamp.

As the red blood dispersed, the black water in the swamp surged. A two ter wide dirt road appeared in the swamp and stretched far out.

The muddy road was dry and firm. It seed to be able to soak in the swamp without being corroded by the black water at all.

“This swamp is a Five Elents Array. Earth and tal elents can also be summoned. Seventh Sister, your beast pet can use tal elents to disperse the array. It’s rather impressive.”

Jun Jianlin’s eyes lit up as he realized sothing.

Xiao Jin looked at him in surprise. It didn’t expect its master’s sickly brother to be so knowledgeable.

It seed that the descendants of the Jun Family weren’t complete idiots.

“I found it in the mountains. I wonder what its origin is. How could you tell that it’s an array?”

Jun Mohuang placed Xiao Jin on her shoulder and wheeled him onto the dirt road.

Jun Jianlin could not reveal Xiao Jin’s origins for the ti being. After all, the Gold-Swallowing treasure book recorded a thod to refine a divine weapon which required absolute secrecy.

“I’ve read about this array in a book before, but the concept of Array Formations is too complicated, so I couldn’t tell. It was only after I saw it drip blood to draw out this dirt road that I ca to a realization.”

As a disabled person, he was not as mobile as ordinary people. Other than cultivating, he could only imrse himself in books.

The two talked as they walked. After another two kiloters, they arrived at the end of the swamp.

At the end was a tall mountain that reached straight into the clouds.

The strange thing was that Jun Mohuang and Jun Jianlin did not see this mountain at all while walking in the swamp.

Furthermore, this was such a tall mountain in the Jun Family’s mountain; it should be visible from anywhere around here.

Either a smokescreen had been applied to this mountain so that no one could see it...

Or that this place was not in Huan City and that a mysterious figure had forcefully linked this place to the Jun Family’s mountain.

There was a cave at the foot of the mountain. It was more than 10 ters tall and had two tightly shut stone doors.

In the middle of the two stone doors was a huge toad with thousands of birds and beasts of various breeds carved on the edge.

The toad held a gold ingot in its mouth and accepted the worship of the birds and beasts.

“This is the guardian beast of the Jun Family, the Gold-Swallowing Beast. Why does it look like this?”

Jun Mohuang looked at the treasure in the toad’s mouth. It was the symbol of the Jun Family’s Gold-Swallowing Beast bloodline.

Everyone in the Jun Family knew about the Gold-Swallowing Beast, but no one knew what it looked like.

In Jun Mohuang’s impression, the Gold-Swallowing Beast should be a tall and powerful beast.

She didn’t expect it to be a toad. How disillusioning!

“I think so.”

Jun Jianlin obviously did not expect the Gold-Swallowing Beast to look like this too.

Xiao Jin defended indignantly. “Master, it’s not just a toad. It’s a golden toad!”

The word toad was so deaning.

It hated being called a little toad.

“A toad is a toad. A golden toad is also a toad.”

Jun Mohuang held up a finger and shook it in disagreent.

“Fine, it’s not as if I’m not calling you a toad. Lead the way. Where is the treasure?”

Xiao Jin wanted to cry but had no tears. Boohoo, Master, I am the descendant of that toad.

However, its voice transmission with Jun Mohuang was restricted by Di Lingtian’s forbidden technique. It couldn’t even tell her its identity.

Xiao Jin had to step forward and drip a few drops of blood into a groove on the stone door.
