In the next second, he clasped her fingers.

Fingers interlocked, Shen Chi was finally satisfied and walked forward with her.

Xu Chaomu couldn’t help but twitch, this man, he’s too childish!

Really too childish!

Tan Cong glanced at them and understood.

The results were announced, and sure enough, Shen Chi’s family won first place, Xiaobao was thrilled.

It was Xiaobao’s first ti participating in such an event, and he got first place, how could he not be happy.

He hugged the trophy and prizes, grinning widely.

"Baby, stand still, Mommy will take a photo of you." Xu Chaomu took out the cara.

"Okay!" Xiaobao happily replied.

Erbao was unwilling, he also jumped to Xiaobao’s side: "I want a photo too, I want a photo too."

"Alright, alright, together now, stand still, one, two, three!"

Xu Chaomu took quite a few photos of them, she was in a good mood today too.

"Honey, let’s take a photo together." Xu Chaomu waved to Shen Chi.

There were quite a few people here, Shen Chi was initially reluctant, but he couldn’t resist Xu Chaomu’s soft persuasions.

"I’ll take it for you." Tan Cong volunteered.

"Okay, thank you."

Tan Cong adjusted the focus and took a group photo for them.

Xu Chaomu was beaming, but Shen Chi didn’t show much expression.

Unhappy with Shen Chi, Xu Chaomu pinched him during the photo: "Smile."

"Oh." Shen Chi curved his lips slightly.

Xu Chaomu took the cara and looked at it, although soone didn’t smile brightly, it was passable.

Alright, there will be more material for the dia tomorrow.

Shen Chi knew very well Xu Chaomu’s little intentions, and he let her be.

Just as well, it helped fend off so unwanted admirers.

"We’re having seafood today." Erbao tugged on Xu Chaomu’s sleeve.

"Seafood again? Didn’t we just have it last ti?"

Xu Chaomu squatted down, tidying Erbao’s hair. This little guy had just been playing wildly with his little buddy, face flushed from the sun.

"I want more, I want more." Erbao whined.

He found that lately, he wasn’t as favored as his brother.

But since he wasn’t as good at creating mischief as his brother, he could only try whining.

"So old already, and still whining, no sha." Xiaobao snorted.

"You’re a bad brother!" Erbao said.

Just as Xiaobao wanted to retort, Taotao ran over, pointing at Erbao and saying to Xiaobao: "Is this your brother? Your brother is so cute."

"What’s cute about him, ugly, ugly, ugly."

"But he looks so much like you." Taotao giggled, "You say he’s ugly..."

Xiaobao twitched his mouth, are all girls this an now?

"Alright, let’s all go for seafood." Xu Chaomu took Erbao and the little buddy’s hands.

"Daddy, help carry the prizes." Xiaobao looked at Shen Chi pitifully.

His arms were full of prizes, so full that he could barely hold them.

"Carry them yourself." Shen Chi ignored him.

"I’ll help you." Tan Cong walked over.

Shen Chi snatched Xiaobao’s prizes: "Alright, Daddy will carry them for you."

"..." Xu Chaomu’s mouth twitched, this childish man!

"Let’s go, ti to eat." Xiaobao was happy, following Xu Chaomu eagerly. "I’m so happy today."

Seeing Xiaobao smile so happily, Xu Chaomu’s mood also turned delightful.

Xu Chaomu called Yu Weiwei and Li Beiting to co join them at the seafood restaurant.

It was a rare gathering for both families, and they all had a little drink.

Xu Chaomu felt her alcohol tolerance worsening, after one drink, her head started to throb.

"Honey, my head hurts a little, I want to go ho to rest." Xu Chaomu leaned on Shen Chi’s shoulder.

"Alright, I’ll take you ho." Shen Chi patted her head.

"Then we’ll play with Aunt Weiwei." Xiaobao didn’t want to go ho, and neither did Erbao.

"Okay, you guys can play with Aunt Weiwei." Shen Chi agreed.

He supported Xu Chaomu out of the seafood restaurant, Xiaogao was already waiting outside.

"Honey, my head hurts." Xu Chaomu snuggled into Shen Chi’s embrace, furrowing her brow and clutching his T-shirt tightly.

Shen Chi kissed her forehead: "Told you not to drink, don’t drink anymore."

"I was happy today."

"Were you not happy before?"

"No, I was just normally happy before, today I’m really happy."

"You’re good at arguing." Shen Chi smiled, "Your head hurts now, what to do?"

"Let hold you for a while, maybe it won’t hurt anymore."

Xu Chaomu squinted her eyes, snuggling into Shen Chi’s arms.

His embrace was warm, with his own unique scent.

After snuggling for a while, her head still hurt, but Xu Chaomu gradually fell asleep.

"Like a little pig, always falls asleep in the car, never changes." Shen Chi hugged her a bit tighter, smiling softly.

He attended the event today, though he found it childish, he was in a good mood.

When the most important person in his life was happy, he was happy too.

Xu Chaomu slept all the way until nine-thirty at night.

Muddled, she opened her eyes, it was already dark.

"Honey... what ti is it?" Xu Chaomu looked around the room, seeing Shen Chi sitting by the bedside.

"It’s nine-thirty at night."

"So late?"

"Yeah, does your head still hurt?"

"Much better, a bit hungry." Xu Chaomu reached out to hug Shen Chi.

"What do you want to eat, I’ll make it for you." Shen Chi put down the tablet in his hand, looking at her gently.

He lowered his head, teasing Xu Chaomu’s face.

Xu Chaomu slapped his hand away: "Just so noodles."

"Alright, let kiss you." Shen Chi smiled, looking at her.

Xu Chaomu didn’t dodge, so he kissed her on the cheek.

After the kiss, Shen Chi went downstairs to make her noodles.

Xu Chaomu’s cheeks were flushed red, she giggled under the covers, then reached for Shen Chi’s tablet to play.

This guy is so boring; she thought he was flirting, but it turns out he was dealing with work stuff again.

The dense data, she couldn’t understand, so she opened a ga to play.

In the kitchen, Shen Chi, wearing a bathrobe, chopped so green onions, made a poached egg, and skillfully cooked noodles for Xu Chaomu.

The Shen Family house was particularly quiet at night, only the sound of boiling water in the kitchen could be heard.

"Dad, is that for ? I’m hungry." Suddenly, Xiaobao appeared in the kitchen.

"Why aren’t you asleep?"

"Woke up from hunger."

"Told you to eat more at dinner!"

"I’m growing, even eating more isn’t enough." Xiaobao ran to Shen Chi’s side, "It slls so good, Dad, please let eat it?"

"No, it’s for your mom."

"Then can you make a bowl too?"

"There’s food in the fridge, sort yourself out."

"I must have been a promotional freebie!" Xiaobao yelled in frustration.

"True, a two-hundred charge got you, they don’t even give a hundred charge freebie."

"..."

So, Xiaobao had to find sothing to eat in the fridge, watching helplessly as his dad brought the noodles upstairs.

"Honey, you have so culinary skills." Xu Chaomu complinted as she slled the aroma.

"Off the bed." Shen Chi said.
