Rayen just simply picked so small fruits in the forest. In the end, he also went to the seaside, but the opposite side from where Ren went.
Since he couldn’t catch fishes, he could only resort to finding other seafood on the shore.
Along the way, his cara was filming. He fild the calm waves of the sea and the clear blue sky.
The wind in the shore was quite strong, fortunately they were also given a lapel that he clipped on his chest so that his voice could still be heard.
Though that hindered him from swimming all the way.
’Not that I plan on doing it.’
The entire ti, he was just filming the scenery, which was quite boring even for him as the content creator. So he just stopped recording to enjoy the mont for a while.
As he was strolling on the shore, he finally found sothing interesting that he could include in his recording.
"Look, I’m seeing sothing good!" Rayen said, face on the cara as he pointed sowhere.
A bunch of sea rocks lay there, massive and scattered, but he wasn’t really pointing toward the rock but at sothing that was on it.
Since it wouldn’t be too visible in the cara, Rayen made his way toward it and approached the lenses on that sothing.
"An oyster!"
Rayen laughed, then he placed the cara on one of the rocks so he could extract this delicacy. Fortunately, a knife was included in the toolkit that he grabbed in a hurry earlier.
He explained how to extract it, careful not with his every movent so he wouldn’t hurt himself. He talked and talked like an expert until his throat went sore.
After extracting a few more oysters, he also found so seaweed lying on the shallow seabed.
"These would be good with so slices of li," Rayen said, already salivating at the thought.
Food just excited him so much that he didn’t even notice soone approaching behind him.
"Brother, what’s that?"
Rayen stopped what he was doing and glanced back to see Yeo Haru.
"I’m gathering food."
"That’s food?"
"It’s seaweed. You don’t know?"
Yeo Haru laughed awkwardly and shook his head. He was standing so far away from the water and was almost jumping whenever the waves reached him.
Recalling what Yeo Haru said on the cruise, Rayen refrained from making fun of him.
"It’s good. Want to gather you so?"
"Well, if it can be eaten, then yes..."
Rayen laughed as he caught Yeo Haru’s gathering basket.
For soone who has a phobia with the sea, it would really be hard to find food on their own aside from wild fruits in the forest. Unfortunately, neither of them could catch a fish.
After a few minutes, Rayen determined he had gathered enough for the both of them. He handed Yeo Haru’s share to him.
"Are you sure this is seaweed? It looks like so sort of alien eggs..."
He had seen seaweeds before, but not this kind which looked like mini green grapes.
Because of that, Rayen plucked one branch from the seaweed and shoved it on Yeo Haru’s mouth. Yeo Haru grimaced on instinct, but he managed to chew it.
"It tastes like the sea and sli..." Yeo Haru said, laughing weakly. "But it’s good."
"Yeah. You can eat it with vinegar," Rayen said. "Let’s go, it’s almost dusk."
Yeo Haru nodded. He tucked away his cara and followed after Rayen.
On their way though, Rayen recalled sothing.
"Hey, who’s your roommates?"
"It’s Adrian Bro and Taeho."
’Who the hell is that?’
But it didn’t matter who that was. Rayen just wanted to get away from being Ren’s roommate.
"Can we switch?"
"Huh? Why?"
"Well, that guy’s my roommate."
"That guy?" Yeo Haru frowned but then realized who Rayen was talking about. "Oh."
"Switch with . Consider it as paynt for the weeds and oysters."
Although Yeo Haru really didn’t want to switch rooms and be with a problematic guy, he also felt indebted to Rayen. In the end, he gave his straw hat to Rayen.
"Fine."
Rayen smiled and also gave his own straw hat. "Thanks."
They smoothly walked the rest of the way with Rayen whistling in joy. Most of the participants had also gathered in the camp, surrounding the already lit bonfire at the center.
Adrian noticed the two of them and waved in their direction. Together with him was Liam.
Rayen and Yeo Haru walked over toward them and saw that they had pooled their food in the center.
"I caught so fish with him," Adrian said.
Rayen also showed their own haul. "Oysters and seaweed."
"And so fruits," Yeo Haru proudly announced, back to his energetic self now that the sea wasn’t around to scare him.
Finally, Plotter, Director and the staff mbers also appeared from sowhere.
"Is everyone back?" Plotter asked.
The staff made a head count and nodded.
"Well then, let’s start the party!"
As Plotter’s announcent finished, a loud song reverberated from the speakers sowhere. The party started as everyone enjoyed everything.
Rayen watched the scene.
Although there were caras surrounding them recording the mont, the feeling of joy and the relaxed atmosphere was truly genuine.
Here, no one talked about the finals.
Here, there was no pressure.
Here, Rayen could breathe in relief.
Adrian went over to the condints table and seasoned their fish before going to the bonfire to grill it. Rayen also went there to create a seaweed salad.
Then, everyone ravaged the food.
All in all, the party had fulfilled Rayen’s stomach. He sat there, watching the others have a talk under the night sky beside the giant bonfire.
Just then, a screech interrupted everyone’s tranquil monts. The participants all looked toward the speakers’ direction only to see Plotter in his Hawaiian version of his usual mix and match attire, standing onstage and holding a mic.
"Now that everyone is full, let’s have a ga~" he announced.
Rayen chuckled.
’Well... Of course the day wouldn’t be over just like that...’
