[mory Pills: Tired of the line, "I understood it yesterday, why can’t I now?"

This was the great Yeo Haru’s creation! This sunflower hated studying, he always dread of creating sothing to solve the problem of studying.

Type: Enhancer

Effects: Enhance choreography and song retention skills for three hours.]

It was a brief and simple description, as expected from soone like Yeo Haru who lacked imagination. But did he really lack it?

When Rayen saw these words, he doubted if Yeo Haru was truly soone with no imagination, or if he was just too direct that he seed like he didn’t have any.

Nevertheless, this page was a brilliant idea. Although it was only a consumable, it was also just a green page. And right now, this was what they needed the most — enhanced mory. They only had a total of 14 hours of practice; they didn’t even know if they had truly ingrained every step and lody of the song in their mind. So, having an enhancer like this could boost the team’s overall performance.

"What do you think about it, bro?" Yeo Haru asked, asking for anyone’s approval. "Should I sign it now?"

"Try to tweak the ti and see if you can extend it," Rayen responded.

"Okay. How many hours do I add?"

"Try making it 24 hours."

Yeo Haru hurriedly wrote about Rayen’s condition. However, the page lit up and adjusted the conditions automatically.

[Effects: Enhance choreography and song retention skills for 24 hours. After the pills wear off, the user has to sleep for 8 hours to regain the expended ntal energy.]

’Sleep? Not just rest?’

If they really had to sleep after morizing, then they would spend more ti, which they didn’t have right now. And what if they just fell asleep mid-performance, what would they do then?

"Lower it down," Rayen said.

"Eh? Isn’t it fine? We just need to sleep."

"Just do it."

"How many?"

"I don’t know. Just decrease it bit by bit until the side-effect changes."

Yeo Haru obliged despite Rayen’s vague instruction. He lowered the ti for one hour, but nothing happened, so he lowered it down so more.

It wasn’t until the ti had been lowered down to half did the side-effects change.

[Effects: Enhance choreography and song retention skills for 12 hours. After the pills wear off, the user will feel groggy unless they sleep for 8 hours and regain their expended ntal energy.]

They still needed to sleep, but now, it wouldn’t be a requirent. Rayen finally felt satisfied with it. However, he still called for Adrian and the others to get their opinion.

"It’s fine for ," Adrian said.

The others also voiced the sa opinion. Finally, Yeo Haru signed it, looking smugly at Xu Jiji after. But the kid was sleeping to bother about him. Yeo Haru’s smug smile disappeared.

All that was left was Ayumi’s work to be done. She only had two minutes to finish it, but she didn’t need that much. The mont all of them turned away from Yeo Haru, Ayumi had finished.

[The Fool’s Gambit:

Type: Scenario

Effects: Offer a specific amount of MC at the start of the scenario, and you can pretend that your weakest skill has the sa level as your highest skill. Once the effect wears off, the fool will experience the Fool’s Curse.

The Fool’s Curse - experience embarrassing monts for as long as the effect’s duration.

(Duration: Until the offered sacrifice was fully used up.)]

"..... Isn’t this too OP for a blue page?" Rayen asked.

"Not really, if the user has a balanced skill set, it doesn’t really an much," Adrian replied.

"Is that so?"

Just then, Rayen realized. If he was the one to use this book page, then it would really be OP. Imagine if his Dance Skill suddenly beca S rank...

’Ah, wait. It’s not my dance skill that is shitty... It’s my team skill.’

Sigh.

If that was the case, it didn’t an much for him. Others should use it instead.

Since they had no ti left, Ayumi imdiately signed the book page to confirm its completion. At the sa, the bell rang from the speakers, signaling the end of the challenge. The one hour was up.

"Ti’s up," Plotter announced.

When Plotter’s voice echoed throughout the entire cafeteria, the pages from the other teams that had been left unfinished suddenly vanished in the air. Those pages ca from Ara’s group.

Ara’s face darkened as she glared at her teammates that couldn’t even properly finish their tasks. They had only managed to finish three pages in total.

"Are you guys ready to head to the next floor?" Plotter asked, his tone playful as usual.

’If we say no, will you even hear us out?’

"Hehe, since all of you were suddenly interrupted during your al, you can continue with your break. The filming will resu at 12 PM sharp."

12 PM?

The participants looked at the ti. Right now, it was only 8:56 AM. They still have three hours.

"Ah... We can rest for a while," Adrian said, relieved.

Rayen also slumped back down toward his seat. It was unusual that Plotter was kind of considerate. But maybe it wasn’t his plan after all. The Director must have instructed them. After all, the participants have been severely overworked.

They need rest right now. Too bad, there were no soft beds in this cafeteria. Rayen had been missing his bed already.

Just as he was thinking that though, he saw Xi Huan from the corner of his eyes. The wistful magician had climbed onto one of the tables, and then lied down on it.

"....."

’Is she really gonna sleep there?’

Yeo Haru approached her enigmatic roommate with a completely intrigued look on his face. "Won’t your back hurt like that?"

"It’s nothing. I’ve always slept in hard places," Xi Huan said.

Eventually, she fell asleep. Her androgynous face was so peaceful, she didn’t seem like the con artist that Rayen had t earlier.

"I also want to sleep," Yeo Haru mumbled and went to another empty table to lie down. Yawning, he faced everyone. "Good night."

Rayen’s lips twitched. These three... He glanced at Xu Jiji, Xi Huan and Yeo Haru who had just fallen asleep like nothing. How can they all sleep so peacefully right now?
