He looked at the fleeing celestial horse in the sky, a sinister and terrifying smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"Run! If you run away, I'll kill everyone here!"

By now, Gao Changkong knew that the top experts of Nasha had all been tied down by his group.

So there would be no second Epsilon-rank superhuman coming to interfere with him.

Now, he could do whatever he wanted in Nasha. Anyone below Epsilon rank, even the Tri-Eyed Clan giants, was nothing but prey for him to slaughter!

Gao Changkong wasted no ti. He raised the Golden Holy Sword in his hand, and a golden radiance, like the sun itself, rose from the dark slums.

It was sacred and majestic, yet filled with a terrifying murderous intent!

Kanasu couldn't understand Gao Changkong's words, but he could feel the unmistakable killing intent in his tone.

He turned his head in midair, caught a glimpse of that astonishing sword aura, and his pupils involuntarily constricted.

At this mont in Nasha, the other generals were all engaged in battle. Only he had the power to stop this vicious devil!

The attitude Gao Changkong displayed wasn't just about killing a few people.

It was the stance of soone intent on annihilating the entire Tri-Eyed Clan!

"Stop!!! You despicable bastard, threatening with innocent civilians' lives! You're not just shaless—you're absolutely contemptible!"

Kanasu was forced to step through the air, rushing back as fast as he could. He swung his lance-sword fiercely at Gao Changkong, sending a massive sword aura hurtling toward him!

Gao Changkong knew his plan had worked. He let out a loud laugh as the golden sword aura of the Solar Wheel Sword shot up to et Kanasu's attack!

The two colossal forces clashed violently, and the ones who died were naturally the Tri-Eyed Clan. He had nothing to worry about.

But this sight made Kanasu's heart ache to the point of bleeding!

The Tri-Eyed Clan's reproductive ability was already poor; every single citizen was a precious treasure.

And just this one battle had already claid over a thousand lives!

A righteous man can be deceived by his own virtue.

Kanasu was a worthy Grand General. If one set aside their opposing stances, he was absolutely deserving of respect.

But now, this was a war between different races. Only victory, defeat, life, and death mattered.

And that gave Gao Changkong an opening to exploit.

During this ti, so Nasha superhumans did try to help Kanasu and take on Gao Changkong.

But they were far too weak.

Anything below Epsilon rank was nothing but an ant.

They couldn't stop Gao Changkong's continued slaughter at all.

Finally, a soldier couldn't hold back and said to Kanasu, "Grand General! If this keeps up, everyone will die! Stop holding back! Attack even if it ans hitting the civilians!"

The muscles on Kanasu's face twitched violently.

He gripped his lance-sword tightly, and for a single mont, a thought crossed his mind to abandon all restraint and destroy everything.

But could a person really do that?

Born in an era of peace, could he truly bring himself to rcilessly slaughter the very people who admired and respected him daily?

Kanasu couldn't do it.

It sounded simple in theory, but this wasn't a history book. The deaths of tens of thousands couldn't be casually brushed aside with a single sentence.

Gao Changkong's attacks kept coming. More and more living bombs were hurled at Kanasu.

The wounds on his body grew heavier and heavier.

Finally, he snapped!

Rather than die in such a stifling manner, it was better to fight with reckless abandon!

Gao Changkong, who had been hiding among the Tri-Eyed Clan, finally faced Kanasu's attack!

That single blow killed all the Tri-Eyed Clan mbers around him!

Gao Changkong had anticipated this mont. Such was human nature—when cornered in a hopeless situation, one would make the choice that minimized losses.

But by now, Gao Changkong had already inflicted massive damage on Kanasu through those living bombs.

He laughed loudly, "Doesn't feel good killing your own people, does it, Grand General? But this is only the beginning!"

Gao Changkong continued to use the Tri-Eyed Clan as his shields.

They were fragile as straw before Kanasu's lance-sword, easily pierced through.

But none of that mattered.

Gao Changkong knew that a Grand General who cared so deeply about his people's lives—or perhaps about his own reputation—even if he could steel himself to kill, the pain in his heart would be excruciatingly intense.

He was determined to force Kanasu to keep slaughtering his own people.

The more he killed, the more his heart would ache, and the more chaotic his mind would beco.

Drive a man to his limits, push him to madness, and no matter how powerful he was, he would struggle to unleash his true strength.

"BOOM!!!"

The golden sword aura shot into the sky, and the black sword aura was equally sharp. They clashed violently over the slums of Nasha.

The two combatants were unhard, but the surrounding Tri-Eyed Clan mbers who couldn't escape were reduced to scattered chunks of flesh.

"ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAR!!!!!!"

Kanasu opened his mouth, letting out a pained howl or perhaps a roar. It didn't sound human anymore—it was like a wounded beast.

His eyes were bloodshot, his tears had long since run dry, but he had no choice but to continue.

Soon, under Gao Changkong's deliberate guidance, large swaths of the slums were destroyed. Countless Tri-Eyed Clan mbers died in the aftermath of their clash.

In less than ten minutes, the entire slum district beneath the abyss was utterly devastated. There was no sign of any survivors left.

And Kanasu had completely gone mad.

He roared numbly, launching reckless attacks at Gao Changkong again and again, even willing to trade a thousand points of damage to himself for eight hundred on his enemy. He fought with a suicidal frenzy.

His heart was in utter chaos.

His attacks lost all form and structure.

And in a battle between top-tier experts, that was fatal.

After one more berserk assault, a golden holy sword pierced through his skull from beneath his jawbone.

The massive white centaur, drenched in blood, stood firm on the ruined ground even in death, his once-proud head drooping weakly.

Gao Changkong wasn't in much better shape either.

Facing a frenzied Black Chariot-level opponent—even one who had been worn down with injuries beforehand—had nearly cost him his life.

Now, his chest was marred by several terrifying wounds, his entire body soaked in blood.

He licked his dry lips. The coppery sweetness was blood spilling from his own mouth.

"Activate self-repair function."

He couldn't rember how many tis he had said that by now.

His combat suit's Smart System habitually injected him with dication, stanched the bleeding, and began repairing his injuries.

This ti, the wounds were indeed severe.

But as he looked up at the Black Chariot-level centaur he had slain, Gao Changkong still curled his lips into a smile.

Not long after, Gu Man and Chen Xiaozheng rushed over and quickly began treating his wounds.

With the help of modern dicine, even a severed limb could be rapidly healed.

However, he still needed to absorb Kanasu's origin to restore his own supernatural abilities.

Because next, he had to race against ti to reach the Holy Spirit Hall high above in the sky.

"That bastard Zhang Yi finished his opponent before I did. He'll definitely head to the Holy Spirit Hall next. I can't fall behind him."
