Chen Lun was sitting on a chair, with the Circus cadres behind him; Nada and about a dozen Black Cat Warriors were positioned in front of the chair.
“Nada, have you really decided?”
Chen Lun asked seriously, looking for confirmation once again.
Nada exchanged glances with its fellow Black Cats before nodding emphatically.
“Yes, esteed Caretaker, we have decided to follow you, to make our mark in the world… Our holand remains intact within the ‘Immortal Realm,’ and there are other Black Cats like us there, so there’s no need for us to worry about it anymore… Given that Kazt’s and the Clan of Cats’ hopes lie in your hands, we too wish to use our remaining abilities to assist you.”
Chen Lun watched Nada and its companions quietly, smiling and nodding.
Then he extended a hand.
“If that is so, then welco to our ranks.”
“Nada swears to follow unto death!”
The Black Cats each swore their oaths, and Nada, leading them, raised its paw to gently touch Chen Lun’s palm with reverence.
Floey smiled and led the applause.
The Circus cadres all clapped their hands, while Alec, Maggie, and Connie looked surprised. Although they had been shocked when Antonio had joined the team, they were now faced with a group of talking Black Cats.

“Golov, there’s no need to go to the Judgent Group building, let’s return to the Church District…” Chen Lun said thoughtfully.
Obviously puzzled, Golov did not ask further.
“I have an urgent errand to run, please let Floey and the other cadres know,” said Chen Lun.
“Of course, Leader,” Golov responded.
When the carriage returned to the Generous Church District and Golov lifted the curtain, the Leader had already vanished without a trace.

The Land of Matthaios is ruled by four Queens, and the Queen of Orianna’s faction is the Queen of the Eastern Territory, Caplan.
