The underwater great prison, Impel Down, is located within the Calm Belt, a sea area that serves as a nest for Sea Kings, making it virtually impossible for ordinary ships to enter.

However, the Marine can utilize a special Tarai Current. By passing through the Gates of Justice at the Marineford base and catching the correct current, they can quickly reach Impel Down via Enies Lobby.
Kenji transferred to a Marineford base warship and arrived at Impel Down in less than a day.
With an Admiral personally escorting a pirate criminal, the reception at Impel Down was naturally high-profile.
Outside the gates of Impel Down, the Warden, Vice Warden, Chief Guard, and almost all other mbers of Impel Down's managent were present.
Among them, Impel Down's Warden, Jack, who stood at the forefront, was an old acquaintance of Kenji's, though their relationship wasn't deep, as they belonged to two different systems: the Marine and Impel Down.
"Thirty years ago, when I saw you, you were just a Commodore." Jack chuckled, sizing up the Admiral's uniform on Kenji.
"Now, you're barely one rank below , huh! Yeah ha ha ha!"
"You really dare to say that." Kenji smiled, ignoring the Impel Down Warden's teasing.
Different systems ant that comparing job ranks was aningless.
Instead of chatting and joking with Jack, Kenji was more interested in sothing else. His gaze swept across the Impel Down team, then settled on a young guard.
The young man had a devilish, owl-like face, and his expression seed sowhat naive, as if he had just recently joined Impel Down.
Kenji found him a bit familiar and turned to ask Jack, "Is that young guard new? I haven't seen him before."
"Oh, him? His na is Magellan, he just joined this year." Jack replied casually as he led Kenji and his group into Impel Down.
"Hey, do you want to go chat with him? That kid is very interesting..."
Jack seed to recall sothing and chuckled, suggesting it to Kenji, but his expression didn't seem very sincere. It looked more like he was trying to stir up trouble.
Seeing his eager, instigating manner, Kenji guessed that he was up to no good.
However, it did remind him of sothing, and he said thoughtfully, "Is this newcor, Magellan, a Devil Fruit user?"
"Ah? How did you know?" Jack's eyes widened in surprise, but he imdiately realized his slip-up and reluctantly gave up his idea of causing trouble.
"Magellan's background is quite special... Before he ca to Impel Down, he was already a Paracia-type Venom-Venom Fruit user. That kid is a poison man."
When Jack spoke of this, his expression still showed lingering fear, clearly indicating he had suffered a loss back then.
As they spoke, the two had already arrived at the Impel Down Warden's office, a room much larger than Kenji's Admiral's office.
Anna did not follow them but went with the Vice Warden and other Impel Down managent personnel to hand over the pirate criminal.
"Co, have a cup of tea first. This is all the stock I have left..." Jack knew Kenji's afternoon tea habit and brewed a cup of tea first.
Kenji sat down and didn't rush to taste the tea. He looked thoughtfully in the direction where Magellan and the other guards had left.
"Jack, I want to borrow so manpower from you." He said with a smile, looking up a mont later.
"The ti period... around five years."
"Borrow my people? And for five years?" Jack scoffed, his face showing an expression of 'you're dreaming'.
Furthermore, he seed to have guessed Kenji's intention, his eyes rolling as he sneered, "The one you want is Magellan, isn't it?"
"Heh heh! That's difficult. I'm planning to train him well..."
Jack's voice stopped abruptly, his eyes wide as he stared intently at the person opposite him.
Kenji, sitting across from him, had, at so point, pulled out a fist-sized gem and was bouncing it between his fingers.
Jack's eyes followed the gem's bouncing up and down, his mouth unconsciously agape, almost drooling.
"Since I'm borrowing your personnel, I should show so appreciation, right?" Kenji laughed heartily and held out the gem.
"Eh? For ?"
Jack paused, then reacted as if provoked, angrily saying, "Are you saying I'm greedy? I'm not that kind of person!"
"I just... like shiny things."
Jack loudly refuted as if angry, but his right hand reached out unceremoniously.
However, just as he was about to grasp the fist-sized large gem, Kenji suddenly paused, stopping the gem just out of Jack's reach.
"I need soone with strength... First, let see the strength of that newcor, Magellan!" As he spoke, Kenji chuckled and withdrew his hand.
"This guy!" Jack watched the gem move further and further away from him, instantly annoyed but unable to express it.
He looked at Kenji's smiling face opposite him and just wanted to punch him.
Borrowing soone even required 'inspection'?
Just as Jack was rolling his eyes, thinking about how to get the gem from Kenji, preferably for free, a sharp alarm suddenly blared throughout Impel Down.
