[Hand-to-Hand Combat], as explained by the system, refers to combat ability without the use of weapons.

For powerful individuals like Garp and Zephyr, who fight bare-handed, they are classified as Hand-to-Hand Combat powerhouses within the system.

Of course, Kenji himself is one too.

"Will such a trait undergo any qualitative changes after advancing?" Kenji was very cautious, carefully considering and comparing.

"If I upgrade [Future Vision], perhaps the duration of foresight will increase significantly..."

His Armant Haki and Observation Haki had both basically reached the peak, and greatly enhanced his combat power.

Therefore, the combat power increase gained from upgrading [Hand-to-Hand Combat] might be less than expected.

After all, the combined enhancent of the two might not have a one-plus-one effect.

Ultimately, Kenji still chose to upgrade [Hand-to-Hand Combat].

The reason was simple: four consecutive gold traits at the beginning looked better.

"I hope you don't disappoint ."

Kenji's gaze lingered on [Hand-to-Hand Combat], and he continuously clicked the ' ' sign with his mind.

In his vision, the originally light purple [Hand-to-Hand Combat] quickly turned deep purple, then black-purple, until finally, golden light burst forth.

The fourth gold trait [Hand-to-Hand Combat (Light Gold)]!

At the sa ti, a system prompt appeared.

[Hand-to-Hand Combat (Light Purple) has upgraded to Hand-to-Hand Combat (Light Gold)]

[Your Hand-to-Hand Combat has advanced to Light Gold!]

[Hand-to-Hand Combat has triggered derivative evolution... New trait generated! Berserk!]

[Berserk: Increases power temporarily, after which a period of weakness arrives.]

A simple line of text, and then nothing else.

However, at the sa mont, Kenji suddenly felt a distinct change in his body.

The change was in his brain. He felt like his thoughts were exceptionally clear, and he gained new insights into the Hand-to-Hand Combat moves he had already mastered.

This made a thought inexplicably pop into Kenji's mind.

My comprehension, or perhaps my battle IQ seems to have improved.

And besides that, he also vaguely felt that the Hand-to-Hand Combat moves he now perford would be even more powerful than before.

"There's no target to test on in this vast ocean." Kenji clenched his fists, feeling an itch.

A mont later, his eyes suddenly lit up. He got up and went to the deck, walked all the way to the bow, and then, following a direction sensed by Observation Haki, prepared to unleash power.

His right fist was quickly reinforced by Armant Haki, and wisps of Armant Haki overflowed from his fist.

Imdiately after, Kenji exerted force and unleashed a heavy punch, causing the Marine ship to shake from his stomp.

"Titan Impact!"

The powerful energy transford into a pillar of light-like shockwave that slamd into the sea, traveling an unknown distance before the light pillar disappeared beneath the seawater.

"Is Shirojishi Admiral fighting so enemies?"

"Could there be danger beneath the surface?"

"The Admiral's perception is stronger than ours! Get ready for battle!"

The busy Marines on deck quickly organized themselves, picking up their weapons and aiming in the direction Kenji had looked.

Not long after, a tremor suddenly ca from beneath the distant sea surface, as if an explosion had occurred at the bottom of the ocean.

Imdiately following, a large amount of blood erged, dyeing the nearby sea surface red, and a bloody sll gradually perated the air.

Bubbles rose on the sea surface, and it seed as though a massive object was rapidly floating up.

"Sothing seems to be coming out."

"Hmm, is that... a Sea King?"

Under a gaze of shock, the corpse of a giant seahorse-shaped Sea King floated to the surface.

Just now, Kenji had unleashed his punch into the deep sea, killing a passing Sea King.

"The power range of 'Titan Impact' is indeed a bit larger than before, but..." Kenji raised his fist and looked at it, sowhat dissatisfied.

That punch just now did not test the ultimate power of 'Titan Impact'. But there were no other suitable targets around at the mont.

Kenji retracted his Haki, dismissing the idea of further testing.

At this ti, an island vaguely appeared at the distant horizon. The first island in the original plan had been reached.

...

Marineford, Marine Headquarters Base.

In the Fleet Admiral's office, Kong was reviewing a stack of newly transmitted intelligence docunts, his brows furrowed.

"The Roger Pirates ran off? Forget it, abandon the pursuit, let Garp co back."

"Sengoku's mission isn't going too smoothly... What exactly does Whitebeard want to do?"

The series of major incidents occurring in the New World recently had Kong feeling overwheld.

As he was frowning in thought, a Marine Commodore rushed in.

"Fleet Admiral Kong, the Five Elders, the highest authority of the World Governnt, demand that you imdiately proceed to Pangaea Castle to report on the World Pirates' robbery of the Heavenly Tribute!"

Kong looked up, a hint of confusion appearing in his bloodshot eyes.

"It's just a sum of Heavenly Tribute, yet it has attracted the attention of the Five Elders ..." He felt so doubt and also so vigilance in his heart.

"Could there be sothing of imnse value within this Heavenly Tribute?"

With deep apprehension, Kong rose and headed to Pangaea Castle in Holy Land - Mary Geoise.

...

Several days later, in an uninhabited island in the New World.

The Marine ship docked at the dilapidated pier, and judging by the ship's waterline, it seed that the heavy cargo it carried had lightened considerably.

"Is this the last island on the plan?"

Kenji stood at the bow, observing the island opposite, while asking Marie, his adjutant, behind him.

"Yes! Besides your hotown... all other planned targets have been completed!" Marie replied while checking a table.

She held a list of plans in her hand, with rows of crossed-out island nas: Sala Island, Sphinx Island, Limania Island...

They had already visited these crossed-out islands before. Now, only the island before them remained.

Kenji looked at the joyful wandering youths on the island receiving food supplies, their eyes exceptionally bright despite their dirty faces. He knew that was the light of hope.

Once, Kenji, like the wandering youths on the island, struggled to survive.

In a world overrun by pirates and mountain bandits, the peaceful lives of civilians could hardly be maintained for long.

No one could say when a group of vicious pirates or mountain bandits might pass by, slaughtering, plundering, and then setting everything ablaze, leaving behind ruins.

Kenji's stable life after his reincarnation was shattered in this way, and although those mountain bandits were quickly subjugated, he could no longer return to his old life.

In his teens, he could only struggle to survive until he entered Marine School.

His youthful sense of justice led him to distribute so of the resources obtained from subduing pirates to wandering youths like himself back then.

As a young man, he followed his heart and did righteous deeds, never expecting to receive an unexpected blessing years later.

Years later, so of the wandering youths who had left the desolate island provided Kenji with considerable help, which continued to this day.

"Marie, prepare to set sail. We're going to Impel Down." Kenji withdrew his gaze and turned to instruct.

Marie responded, looking at Kenji's departing back, her eyes filled with respect.

The reason Kenji was well-liked within Marineford and respected by ordinary Marines was not just because of his easygoing nature. His actions were witnessed by countless Marines.

The Marines and officers on the ship, even Rear Admiral Brugurasu who was riding along, watched Kenji's figure disappear into the cabin before turning around and preparing for departure.
