Chapter Twenty-One: Eternal Void Holand! The Unspeakable Entity

Three shadowy masses began to twist and distort, resembling the black sludge from the Moonlit World, embodying the Evil of This World. They squird ominously, as though so monstrous being was about to awaken within.

Gurgle, gurgle!

A sound, akin to a clear spring flowing through a mountain stream, emanated from the black sludge-like substance. The shapes slowly shifted, as if a craftsman were moulding sugar figurines.

With each transformation, shadow energy gathered relentlessly, dimming the room’s light and lowering its temperature. Even with the lamps turned on, an eerie haze persisted.

Taking this opportunity, Lu Yu cald his mind and began to explore the principles behind the use of [Shadow Servants]. His consciousness gradually subrged into the shadow’s depths, touching upon a mysterious and grand force.

Shadow energy was not inherently evil; it was but one component of the world, devoid of moral bias. There were no interwoven malevolent intentions—only an eternal silence.

The Land of Eternal Silence!

No sound, no thought, no emotion, no form. It felt as though the Dark Mother herself cradled his consciousness, lulling him into an everlasting slumber.

“Sleep… sleep… the eternal sanctuary… the holand of the void…”

A strange whisper brushed against his heart, soothing Lu Yu’s spirit like a gentle spring breeze, erasing all his emotional fluctuations.

At the sa ti, his consciousness road the shadows. In that hazy realm, he seed to glimpse an unspeakable figure.

He couldn’t discern the figure’s vast, bizarre, and indescribable form, yet it drew him in. His awareness slowly gravitated toward the entity through the shadowy expanse.

It was as if only by returning to that place could he find life’s ultimate destination, the serendipity of all existence, the profound secret of the soul…

“Detected an unidentified presence… assessing danger level… initiating automatic erasure…”

The system’s voice rang out in Lu Yu’s mind, jolting him awake. His consciousness swiftly returned to his body.

Lu Yu’s body trembled violently, beads of sweat forming on his forehead and sliding down his cheeks, landing on the floor with an audible drip.

Using his sleeve, he wiped the sweat from his brow and spoke with lingering fear:

“I almost let the shadow assimilate my consciousness… and beca food for that entity.”

Just monts ago, as he explored the shadow, he had delved too deep, nearly rging with its world. Worse still, he had sensed the aura of a grand existence!

The eternal silence of the shadow and the aura of that vast entity had nearly transford him into the shadow’s puppet. Fortunately, the system had erased the aura in ti, and that being seed unaware of his insignificant presence. Otherwise, both he and the city beneath his feet would have been reduced to rubble.

This incident served as a warning. He couldn’t recklessly rge with energy sources, even if they lacked malevolence.

Originally, he had planned to trace the origins of Hellfire and Ti further. However, after this encounter, he decided to postpone those investigations.

He would wait until he possessed sufficient strength and confidence before delving deeper into the essence of these forces, ensuring they were firmly within his control.

Moreover, the world seed to harbour countless secrets. The whispers he had heard monts ago were already fading, like forbidden mories slipping away like grains of sand through his fingers.

Even so, Lu Yu forcefully retained fragnts of those mories. He didn’t intend to speak of them, choosing instead to bury them deep within his mind.

This wasn’t the unrestrained banter of his previous life. In this world, terrifying entities abounded. rely reciting their nas or pondering their nature for too long could invite their attention.

“Does each energy source’s deepest origin contain such an entity?”

A bold hypothesis ford in Lu Yu’s mind. If true, it could unravel a chilling truth.

A truth that might plunge the current cultivators into sheer panic.

“What’s the use of overthinking? I have the Monster Creator System. As long as I craft enough powerful monsters, I’ll one day stand equal to these beings and uncover this world’s truths.”

Lu Yu reflected briefly and encouraged himself. This wasn’t re delusion. If he succeeded in creating monsters capable of reversing ti and devouring galaxies, boundless power would follow!

Besides, this venture into the shadow realm hadn’t been fruitless. Lu Yu could feel his mastery over shadow energy had advanced further.

He believed it wouldn’t be long before he could wield the power of shadows in battle.

Slowly, Lu Yu raised his head. The three shadows had now solidified into three humanoid figures. They were tall, faceless, and silent, kneeling before him in absolute submission.

“Are these the Shadow Servants?”

Gazing at the three Shadow Servants, Lu Yu sensed an intangible connection. The bond revolved entirely around him.

He held absolute control over their existence; with a re thought, he could destroy their cores, reducing them back into scattered shadows.

“Power over life and death. No wonder they’re called servants.”

Lu Yu murmured softly, acknowledging the value of such absolute control, particularly for intelligence gathering in the future.

His gaze turned cold as he regarded them and asked:

“What abilities do you possess?”
