Haicor and Ash were bewildered.

"You murdered him, King Rhett, you're a freakin' murderer!", Haicor said on top of her voice.

Rhett relished the mont, a ray of sunlight shining on his face, making the blood to be more vivid.

Slowly turning to their direction he said: "He tried to kill us all, can't you guys see, I saved you all".

Ash tried to speak but the flapping of wings up to the sky disrupted him. The albatrosses had begun to fly away and Haicor just stared blankly as they took to the sky. She was frightened now and this scene was far from llow, it was hot!.

Rhett walked forward and neared Ash who was scared to look him straight in the eyes.

"When you made king, you didn't explain to what I was entering into. If I knew being a king was being a goddamn warrior who just suffers and gets beaten up occasionally, I wouldn't have agreed to be king!", Rhett said.

Haicor stared at them, her face blank, showing no emotions. The fear and surprise had suddenly gone away.

Ash stuttered now. "I - I, see, King Rhett, you fulfilled the prophecy, you are our King. You are the long ago prophesied King that will lead us out of our dilapidated state and to everlasting victory".

Rhett's mouth curved into an avuncular grin, he gently put his hand on Ash's shoulder and said.

"Note this, when I have to go bad, I will go bad and when I have to be good, I will be good. Don't be shocked when I take drastic actions, I guess I know what I'm doing in a way".

Haicor sighed. "Well, I guess you had to kill the god slayer, but I'm pretty surprised you defeated him so easily. Like with the hit, he just fell and you put the sword by the side of his neck. I was pretty surprised".

Rhett shrugged and Haicor walked over to where they were.

"It seed too simple to too, it felt, strangely, like the god slayer was just a boaster with no strength at all. I was surprised when he fell. He was too simple to defeat. Honestly, the ice dragon I slayed that made king was stronger", Rhett said.

Ash gave out a gentle laugh, it ca out as though he didn't want to do the act.

"So we continue our journey", Haicor said.

Ash said: "But the albatrosses are gone, how do we now get to forest and et dhamsel".

Rhett quickly looked at his hands, clenching it and unclenching it again. On his mouth was a smile, which he toyed with.

"Let's let our legs rest, I know the forest is far away and now that we are exhausted from the journey's obstacles, we'll be tired to go on", Rhett said.

Ash imdiately stared at him, a subconscious act. Haicor too did so.

"What do you an?", Haicor asked.

"Ti to use one of my abilities, portal Ascender!".

That statent felt pungent and his listeners couldn't help but stare in shock, their faces carrying sophisticated looks.

"This is not an important ti to use it",Ash said.

"My feets are okay, I wouldn't mind using them to trek even though it takes days. And moreover, there's more to co ahead, there's more vile and more wonderfully bad things we'll face that I will advise you not to waste this precious ability. It only cos once every month".

Rhett scoffed. "I need to get to Dhamsel quickly and wasting ti will be a big setback to that, I've got to build our kingdom back and avenge it".

"Life's not always about revenge you know", Haicor said. "I'd advise you to heed to the words of the old man".

Rhett looked at the pinkish sky, blank and lifeless apart from a tiny looking bird. Perhaps the bird was not tiny looking, perhaps it was because of his perspective.

"There's no ti!", Rhett said loudly. "There won't even be a need for to use it for a month. I have to do this. I'm tired of seeing pink, I want to see the normal colours of nature and not pinkish things".

Haicor looked ruffled, she was bothered and it greatly showed on her face.

"You're becoming ruthless King Rhett, when I first t you so hours ago, you were good and calm and nice. Now, now..., you've kinda changed".

Ash nodded in agreent and Rhett felt slightly abashed. Silence drove around the place and stretched long for quite a while.

Finally he said: "I'm not ruthless Haicor". He walked near to her and looked at her intently in the eyes. "I'm not bad, I'm a good guy. I would never hurt my friends, I will only do that to my enemies. And-", he paused and looking at the sky again and seeing the sa bird still flying, he continued:

"When the situation calls for to be bad, I turn bad, but when it calls for to be good, I will be good. And when I have to do an act that others oppose but I know will save the day, I've got to do it".

Haicor and Ash couldn't utter any opposition to that and so they simply nodded in the affirmative. Rhett walked away from Haicor and went far off, to a more grass low area.

"You know", Ash called, increasing his voice. "You've gotten smarter, very smart than when I first t you".

Rhett smiled and looked back, staring at Ash's face.

"I guess the situation calls for it", he said.

Ash and Haicor exchanged uncertain glances and laughed lightly.

"So", Ash said. "Do you know how to summon the portal, I think it's by spinning the coin, do you have the coin?".

Rhett made a face. "No".

Ash sighed. "Then how do you do with the portal!".

Rhett made no reply to that, he was going to apply with an action. His back facing Ash and Haicor, he pointed his hand forward and said in a loud voice:

"I summon the portal!".

Lo, and behold, a spark scintillated, all the stuff that happens before a portal appears happened and...

BOOM!

A portal was in front of them.

Ash and Haicor gasped.

"Man!", said Ash. "You've just broken the rules and surprisingly, it worked!".
