RAFFAELO POV
*DONG! *DONG!! *DONG!!!
My body shook as I jumped out of my bed, my sword summoned in my hand, and my body slamd to the ground with a light thud. I gripped the hilt of my sword, my eyes quaking with vitality, until reality struck like the bell that woke up.
'Hah, shit….still in the hostel'. I thought, a chuckle escaping my lips as I released the sword and stood up straight.
About a week has passed since the creation of the Demon Extermination Club, and quite frankly, students and staff alike were not pleased.
I can still rember the number of sophomores who attempted to bully us out of our Clubrooms.
'Idiots, did they think the school would take their side just because we're mbers of the Great families.' I thought, stretching my body from the fatigue of the night.
By the ti I was done, the bell had finally co to a stop. 'Honestly, that shit is unnecessary'.
I walked up to my wardrobe, picked up my towel, and headed for the bathroom.
It was ti for another day, and another day called for a new set of activities.
I already learned of the periods we had each day.
Mondays like this were the most hectic, and Fridays were the most vacant.
We had seven periods, including Phys Ed., Magic Theory, Introduction to Alchemy, Combat Theory, Combat Practical, Introduction to Demonology, and History of the Kingdom.
I already missed most of the classes last week, so it would be best for a new student not to attend their first classes.
So, I already had a vivid plan on how to spend the day.
Ten minutes later, I was done with bathing, and an extra twenty minutes, I was done with dressing up. I looked at myself in the mirror as I always do every morning, and headed towards my door.
'Yeah, this is how life should be'.
On opening my door, my gazes locked with Darell's and Jane's, and a small smile ford on my lips.
"Ready for today I see".
I said as I walked out, locking the door behind . Discover exclusive tales on My Virtual Library Empire
"You spend a lot of hours getting ready for a guy," Darell said with a yawn while they followed behind .
"Huh? My beauty doesn't just stay like that you know, it has to be maintained".
Jane chuckled and Darell face-pald himself.
"You're confident in your looks"
"Of course I am, I'm beautiful. Anyone can tell that". I replied sternly, turning towards Jane. "So, how's that coming along?"
Jane sighed, turning away. "Asking to contact the Club Presidents, what were you doing?"
"...I had Class Prefect business to deal with, especially the Prefect eting held last Thursday. That was a real pain".
"Did they bully you?" Darell asked as we got to the front door of the building, and waiting beside it, as usual, was Elsie.
It had beco a norm for the four of us to head towards the Cafeteria together, but from there on, it was usually just and Elsie.
"Huh? You should be scared if he bullied them!" Jane interjected.
Darell chuckled in response. "Yeah, you're right".
Just then Elsie walked up to us, stretching her legs, as she wrapped her arms around into one of her tight hugs, and I sighed in resignation. Trying to fight it would only make things worse, so I just let her do whatever she wanted as long as it didn't….cross so certain "moral line."
"We're in public, Elsie" I muttered under the warmth of her presence, and I could hear Jane holding Darell back from his tantrums.
'Honestly, the number of tis this so-called "Elven prince" has surprised with his behavior is concerning'.
I thought when Elsie finally released from her embrace.
We continued forward toward our destination, the Cafeteria.
"By the way, have we received any Club Duels?"
"No, we haven't," Jane replied with a sigh. "After your display of strength the other day when the forr president of the Combat Club challenged you, no one else decided to show up."
"Oh yeah, that asshole who couldn't take a hint". Flashes of images played in my head at that mont, and an image of a fourth-year student nad Ryan Sizzle challenged for my position in the club.
Of course, these were all matters that were accepted; the position of the President of a club is usually left for the top three strongest within that club, specifically for situations like that.
All clubs are threatened with being taken over by soone, and the Academy lets this happen as it is a matter that the students want.
Of course, it wasn't a situation that occurred often, but after news of the D.E.C. spread, jealous and annoying students began to bear their fangs.
'I still rember Javier's reaction after the fight. It was a good chance to show the difference in our abilities, after all, Ryan Sizzle was a level 70 Wild Knight'.
The na of his profession was rather unique, to say the least; he could use the characteristics of the wild beast of the jungle and his knightly abilities.
He's soone that would be necessary during the Dark tis ahead.
"It's funny. I could have sworn they were aware we were strong" Darell said with a sigh.
"Not really, Darell; our generation is unique specifically because we're stronger than most during this age," Raph replied with a smile on his face, while Elsie glanced at the boys behind her, a puzzled expression on her face.
They both stared at her at the sa ti, an uncomfortable sensation spreading through them.
"Wh–What?" Darell stamred, his cheeks flushing.
She stared at them for a bit longer, then turned away towards Raph. "Strong how? They're not up to your level though".
A brief silence descended until Raph choked a laugh.
"Wha–What do you an by that?! We're plenty strong!" Darell cried out in annoyance.
"Lady Elsie. That is a very deaning thing to say; We are not just his level, but higher," Jane retorted.
Elsie glanced at them again, then turned away instantly. "Don't see it".
Darell and Jane choked on their words in reaction, a tingling pain burning in their chest.
I laughed out loud, unable to withhold it any longer, while Elsie wrapped her arms around mine, a big smile on her face as she leaned in. "My husband's the strongest."
"...Hah…I told you to call Raph" I muttered, when I felt the familiar thrill from my hand she leaned on. 'No bad thoughts, no bad thoughts, no bad thoughts'.
She's been making this a habit, and I can't deny that it isn't doing things to .
I even recently began to question the age gap. I may seem 15, but I have the mind of an adult so does having a thing with girls my age make …a nace to society?
'I an…I don't think so, I'm 15 now, and there's no need to overthink it'.
I took a glance at Elsie, noticing the brilliant smile and gaze that looked up at . '....She's rubbing off on ….I don't think I like that'.
With a sigh, I looked away, and we continued our way to the Cafeteria, lost in thought.

A few monts later, we arrived at the Cafeteria, took our als, and sat together in our usual spot.
It had beco a habit since the day the club was created to sit together on occasions such as this. It may not an much to them, but to , it proved they were at least open to the idea of interacting with one another.
Our reputation as mbers of the GREAT families also served as a backbone because a lot of students avoided our particular spot, which was the farthest from the entrance to the far left.
It wasn't every day you see this many of us and a beastkin sitting together while having a conversation that didn't lead to a fight.
It was ironic really.
At the mont, we were busy eating our als, or at least I was until Darell spoke out.
"So, we're gonna add more mbers, right?" He asked, turning towards Jane, who sat next to him.
"Huh? Why're you asking ?" He raised a brow, taking a bite of his cake.
I learned a lot about my mbers by their choice of food. It seed Jane liked sweet things, and he hardly ever ate at, despite not being a vegetarian.
"You're the Vice President around you" Darell replied with a chuckle.
"Huh, yes, Raph decided to make a Vice president behind my back without my consent, and now you're trying to force into it?"
I nearly choked on my tea, coughing out lightly while Elsie stroked my back.
"What do you an, "behind my back," you said you didn't mind". I retorted, snapping towards the golden-haired boy.
He shrugged his shoulders in response.
"You shouldn't be upset about it. He trusted you enough to give you that position, didn't he?"
Jane flinched on hearing her voice, slowly turning towards his right and looking at Ciara, who was sitting at the opposite side of the table. "Shit…" He muttered, and his cheeks flared up red.
'How cute'.
