Wang Longhu looked over and saw a strange bird standing on a branch, its body resembling an eagle, but its feet shaped like a pair of human legs.
Wang Longhu stroked his chin: "Looks really odd, what's up with this bird?"
Chi Ming, imnsely shocked, whispered in explanation: "In the Classic of Mountains and Seas, it is written, on Gaotu Mountain, there is a bird with the appearance of an owl but human feet, called Shu Si, eating it cures goiters.
That's it, this bird is the 'Shu Si' from the Classic of Mountains and Seas! I never thought it actually existed."
"The Classic of Mountains and Seas?" Wang Longhu frowned, if things are like this, then this paradise called Shambhala, indeed has so issues.
Before long, following the steps of the light giant, the group spotted in the forest a herd of creatures that looked like deer but had white tails, hooves like horses, human hands, and four horns on their heads.
Chi Ming quickly said to Wang Longhu: "On Gaotu Mountain, there is a creature with the appearance of a deer but a white tail, horse hooves, human hands, and four horns, called Jue Ru. Master! This is also recorded in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
Could it be, could it really be like the speculation I ntioned on the yacht, that this world was visited by aliens in ancient tis,
and the bizarre creatures in the Classic of Mountains and Seas were monsters crafted by aliens through so biological genetic modification surgery!
So, could this Shambhala be understood as an ancient civilization relic left by aliens?!"
Seeing Chi Ming on the verge of madness with excitent, Wang Longhu patted his shoulder, signaling for him to calm down: "Lower your voice, don't speak, to avoid drawing their attention."
As they passed through the forest, the mont the dense vegetation no longer obscured their sight.
An enormous, magnificent city appeared before their eyes.
The entire city was constructed from so unknown tal, emitting an enchanting silver sheen.
While above the city, many tal tracks similar to star trails were arranged.
At this mont, nurous tal spherical cabins were swiftly moving along these tal tracks.
Giving Wang Longhu the feeling that they were the city's public transportation.
"Shambhala, I've returned!"
Taiping Guru excitedly knelt on the ground, bowing devoutly to the imnse tal city.
His disciples all followed suit solemnly.
Wang Longhu, however, was unconcerned, instead lifting his gaze to observe the do above the tal city.
Just now, in those outer areas of grasslands, lakes, and forests, the sky was still a bright blue.
But now, near the tal city, the sky transford directly into a vast starry sea akin to the universe.
With many bright planets connected by strands of golden lines.
The sight created a peculiar feeling, as if these planets and golden lines ford so kind of... star map?
"Only beings that et the conditions can find Shambhala. When you see Shambhala, you are destined to be its people.
Enter, start a new life, cultivate your pure spirit to face the dark apocalypse of the year 2600 AD, you must cultivate the rainbow body,
only then can you survive in the dark apocalypse and once again sow vitality and hope on the desolate, evil land outside, beginning a whole new era."
The voice of the light giant resounded in everyone's mind, and those who heard it couldn't help but tremble inside.
So were overjoyed, while others were perplexed.
"So, as long as I practice within Shambhala, I can live until 2600 AD?" A disciple of Taiping Guru couldn't help but ask excitedly.
His fearlessness in following Taiping Guru into Kangchenjunga was to pursue eternal life.
And Taiping Guru had told him that within Shambhala, there indeed existed a thod for immortality.
Now it seems, it's true!
This year is only 2023 AD, if one could live until 2600 AD, that's a guaranteed lifespan of over 500 years.
"Spirit everlasting." The light giant did not answer but simply said these four words.
"What is the dark apocalypse? And how do you cultivate the rainbow body?" Wang Longhu then asked.
Throughout the journey, his curiosity about these two things ntioned by the light giant far surpassed that of the tal city.
"Death, despair, slaughter, destruction... The dark apocalypse I can see only consists of these. What truly is the dark apocalypse,
only when it truly arrives will you know the answer. As for the rainbow body, once you cultivate to that level, without my telling, you will know. Asking now is of no use."
The light giant's temperant seed to remain very good; when asked, they would provide an answer.
Though the answer might not contain critical information, it was still a response.
Seeing no more questions, the light giant led Wang Longhu and the group towards the tal city.
The mont they stepped into the tal city, everyone felt an imnsely heavy invisible force pressing down on them.
Taiping Guru and the others instantly halted, unable to take a single step, as if their feet were glued to the ground.
While Wang Longhu could bear this trendous force and continue onward, his pace was extrely slow, barely advancing a ter in about 3 seconds.
Chi Ming's performance was even worse, taking perhaps 20 seconds to take a step, and soon found himself drenched in sweat due to the effort.
