After completing their special training on Mt. Moon, Yuga brought Gon to Cerulean City.

Cerulean City was a dium-sized city in the Kanto region, situated to the north of the Cerulean Strait. This geographical location made it a hub for Water-type Pokémon, and many trainers in the city specialized in Water-types. The city's gym, Cerulean Gym, was also known for its Water-type Pokémon.

Gon had spent most of his life at the Rocket Team's base and had never seen the outside world. Since joining Yuga, they had only briefly stopped in Pewter City before heading to Mt. Moon. As a result, Cerulean City, bustling with people and Pokémon, was a fascinating and novel experience for Gon.

Seeing Gon's keen interest, Yuga smiled and said, "How about we rest in Cerulean City for two days?"

After spending over a week in the mountains, even Yuga, an adult, found it challenging. For a child like Gon, it was even more demanding. Therefore, Yuga decided to take a short break in Cerulean City before continuing their journey.

Upon hearing Yuga's suggestion, Gon nodded enthusiastically, clearly eager to stay.

Since they planned to stay in Cerulean City for two days, Yuga took Gon to the Pokémon Center to settle in. Gon was a black household, so he couldn't officially register as official Trainer or register his residence at the Pokémon Center. Consequently, he had to stay with Yuga.

After settling into the Pokémon Center, Yuga took Gon to explore Cerulean City.

Since it was sumr, the most popular tourist attraction in Cerulean City was undoubtedly the famous Cerulean Strait. Yuga and Gon didn't want to miss it either.

When they arrived there, Yuga and Gon found the beach crowded with people and Pokémon. The beach was teeming with both humans and Pokémon enjoying the sunny weather.

It was Gon's first ti at this location, and despite the crowded beach, he was having a great ti.

On the other hand, Yuga had lost interest in playing because of the vast number of people and Pokémon on the beach. It seed like there were more people and Pokémon than grains of sand.

However, watching Gon and Kadabra having fun, Yuga didn't mind and decided to relax with his own Pokémon while sunbathing.

The sun is a bit too intense, though. It feels scorching!

But Grass-type Pokémon like Roserade, Bellossom, Ivysaur, and Shroomish were all enjoying this sunbathing session, showing great delight.

Absol, covered in fur, showed no interest in sunbathing and refused to co out of its Poké Ball.

Chatot also stayed in the Poké Ball and was unwilling to co out because of the increasing burden on his body

Chicho, on the other hand, rested on Yuga's head, taking a nap. It didn't mind where it was as long as it was with Yuga.

As they soaked up the sun, Yuga suddenly noticed sothing amiss. The sky was gradually darkening, and clouds were covering the once sunny sky.

"It looks like it's going to rain. Let's head back!" A girl beside Yuga said to her boyfriend.

"Strange, it was so sunny just a mont ago," the boy complained, though he wisely didn't voice his true thoughts in front of his girlfriend.

The couple quickly packed their belongings and left the beach.

Observing the worsening weather, other tourists also started leaving the beach one after another.

Seeing the thickening clouds and sensing the rain, Yuga hurriedly returned Charmaleon to its Poké Ball. He then called out to Gon and Kadabra, "Gon, Kadabra! It's about to rain. Let's go back!"

Just as Yuga finished speaking, the sky opened up with heavy rain. Yuga rushed over to Gon and Kadabra to lead them away.

However, as soon as Yuga turned to lead Gon away, he realized that there was no one else on the entire beach except for them.

The rain poured down relentlessly, drenching both Yuga and Gon. The distant scenery had disappeared behind the curtains of rain, making it impossible to see anything clearly.

Yuga felt like they were trapped within this small world enclosed by rain, and this finally made him realize that sothing was seriously wrong.

Just as Yuga turned around again, he noticed that Marshadow had quietly erged from his shadow and was now standing beside him, silently observing the turbulent sea through the rain.

Gon nervously held onto Yuga's hand, as if he sensed that sothing was about to happen.

Finally, a graceful figure walked across the surface of the sea, coming through the pouring rain to stand before Yuga and Gon. The figure shielded them from the rain, preventing a single drop from touching them.

"Suicune!" Yuga murmured softly.

It seed that the trial of the Rainbow Hero had begun. Yuga realized.

The Suicune remained motionless, silently gazing at Yuga and Gon, while Yuga and Gon could do nothing but wait.

Just as Yuga thought the Suicune would keep watching, it raised its head, and a thick water column shot towards them.

"Chicho, Light Screen!" Yuga widened his eyes and called out to Chicho, who was perched on his head.

"Kadabra, Light Screen!" Gon also reacted quickly.

Chicho abruptly took off from Yuga's head and positioned itself in front of Yuga and Gon, instantly creating a transparent Light Screen.

Behind Chicho, Kadabra's eyes glowed with blue light, and it extended an arm with a spoon-shaped appendage. Another Light Screen ford, rging with Chicho's.

The Suicune's Hydro Pump carried trendous force as it collided with the two Light Screens, pushing Yuga, Gon, and their Pokémon backward.

Finally, the two Light Screens shattered, knocking down Yuga, Gon, and their Pokémon. Fortunately, thanks to the protection of the Light Screens, they weren't seriously injured.

Yuga's Ivysaur, Bellossom, and Roserade all responded to Yuga's injuries by imdiately launching energy balls at the Suicune. These attacks were thrown simultaneously.

The Suicune emitted a violet light, and the three energy balls that hit it were deflected back with even greater force.

The three Grass-type Pokémon hit by the redirected energy balls were left immobilized instantly.

Chicho, seeing this situation, beca furious. This was unacceptable! Its beloved Yuga was hurt!

Of course, it pretended not to notice the other fairy Pokémon lying on the ground.

Chicho quickly used Calm Mind three tis in succession, then angrily employed Psychic to charge at the Suicune.

Initially, the Suicune didn't pay much attention to Chicho charging at it. However, when Chicho collided with the Suicune, it was sent flying in shock.

Heh, how about that? See if you dare to bully our dear Yuga again!

Chicho had a triumphant look on its face.

From the ground, the Suicune, seemingly unhard, got up. It clearly hadn't expected such a powerful attack from the seemingly small Pokémon, which left it astonished for a mont.

Chicho, still feeling victorious, saw the Suicune standing up and ready to retaliate. Its eyes widened in surprise.

What kind of Pokémon is this? How can it be this powerful?

The Suicune glanced at Gon, who was lying on the ground, then at Yuga and Chicho, and then it leaped onto the sea's surface before vanishing completely.

Seeing the Suicune first appear on the sea's surface, Marshadow, who had been quietly observing everything, returned to Yuga's shadow.
