After leaving the Ecopark, Yuga saw that Dou Dou and the others were still cleaning up the ss in the store, so he went over to help.

The three little Pokémon—Mi Jr., Clefairy, and Smoochum—knew they had caused big trouble and were feeling incredibly guilty. They worked extra hard, sneaking glances at Yuga from ti to ti, trying to gauge his mood.

The incident at YoYo Day Care had drawn the attention of the surrounding neighbors. Everyone ca over enthusiastically to lend a hand, and by the ti night fell, the store had mostly been cleaned up.

Because the building was so badly damaged, not only could business not resu anyti soon, but even living there had beco a problem. Yuga had no choice but to pack up his things and move into the gym.

Once Suzuki Koen and the others had all gone ho, Yuga took the three little Pokémon to the Ecopark and found Greninja.

Greninja was currently training its children—Frogadier and Wartortle. When it saw Yuga approaching, it looked at him with confusion, unsure what business Yuga had with it.

Pointing at the three little ones behind him, Yuga said, "Starting today, I'm entrusting these three kids to you. Make sure to train them well!"

When he said "train," Yuga deliberately emphasized the word, carrying a tone of disappointnt and frustration, as if lanting that they hadn't lived up to expectations.

Mission accepted!

Greninja imdiately understood what was going on and gave a knowing nod, patting its chest in assurance. It figured these three must have really angered Yuga.

As it happened, Greninja had recently been dissatisfied with the progress of Frogadier and Wartortle's training and was planning to start overseeing them personally. Adding the three troublemakers to the group wouldn't be a big deal.

Upon hearing Yuga's words, the expressions of the three little Pokémon imdiately fell. They had heard countless stories about Greninja's reputation and knew it was a strict elder.

They looked pitifully at Yuga, but he remained unmoved.

Frogadier and Wartortle patted the three little ones on the head and gave them sympathetic looks, as if saying, We know exactly how you feel.

They were well aware of their father's strict ways. They had often been on the receiving end of sympathetic glances from other Pokémon. Now, at last, there were others to share in the "suffering."

But that wasn't all—Yuga also revoked the three little Pokémon's privilege of freely entering and exiting the Ecopark via the system. As long as Yuga remained angry, they wouldn't be allowed to leave the Ecopark.

As Yuga was leaving the Ecopark, owstic stopped him and handed him a shopping list for dicines and equipnt—all items needed by wtwo to treat Heatran.

With Yuga's current status and wealth, acquiring these things wouldn't be difficult at all.

The next day, both Yuga and Suzuki Koen, along with Ayaka, had the day off. But since they had nothing to do at ho, they ended up going to the new store to help Aunt Hisako.

As for Yuga, he contacted Daichi Kurozumi and asked him to co help repair the building.

After inspecting the extent of the damage, Daichi said, "Repairs won't be a problem, but..."

"But what? Just say it."

It wasn't the first ti the two had worked together, and besides, Daichi was friends with Yuga's uncle Kurosaki, so they were quite familiar with each other.

"You've got a big operation going now. Have you considered expanding the store?" said Daichi.

"Expanding the store?"

Yuga honestly hadn't thought about that, but it was worth considering. However...

Back when Verdanturf Town was still a small town, expanding YoYo Day Care would've been no trouble at all. There was plenty of open land around the area.

But things were different now.

Verdanturf Town had prospered greatly over the years. More and more people had settled here, and the town's current population rivaled that of a typical mid-sized city.

With a growing population, residential space had naturally beco more limited.

Adding to the issue is that Verdanturf Town is an agricultural town, and the town places a great deal of importance on protecting its natural environnt and farmlands, which further intensifies the land-use tension during expansion.

Even so, Verdanturf Town has already expanded outward several tis over the past few years, almost using up all the available land.

Whereas YoYo Day Care used to be considered on the outskirts of Verdanturf Town, it can now basically be regarded as located in the central area of town.

The large plot of land behind YoYo Day Care originally belonged to Yuga and has now been developed into the Ecopark. To the left is Uncle Kate and Rand's ho, while to the right, there is a small vacant plot of land, though the area is not very large.

Further to the right are two neighboring hos, and beyond that lies the Verdanturf Gym.

In front of the day care is the main street, which is now one of the busiest thoroughfares in Verdanturf Town, so even if Yuga wanted to expand, it would be impossible to extend the building out onto the road.

So, if YoYo Day Care truly wanted to expand, it would either an asking Uncle Kate's family on the left to move out, or asking the two families on the right to move.

Daichi imdiately saw through Yuga's hesitation: "If you're really serious about expanding your shop, then just go talk to your neighbors. As long as the money is good enough, it might actually work."

"But I'm still Verdanturf Town's Gym Trainer. Doing sothing like this..." Is it really okay?

Yuga didn't finish his sentence, but Daichi understood right away.

He clapped Yuga on the shoulder and said, "You're overthinking it. What's the big deal? It's not like you're forcing anyone. As long as you discuss it properly, it's a mutually agreed arrangent, and no one can say anything. This has nothing to do with you being a Gym Trainer or not!"

Yuga thought about it and felt that made sense: "Alright then, I'll give it a try."

Daichi responded cheerfully: "Once you've settled things, we can sit down and discuss it again. I'll draw up a brand-new set of blueprints for your shop expansion."

"Great, thanks for your help!"

Taking Daichi's advice to heart, Yuga imdiately began negotiations with the two families living on the right.

These two households had not been settled in Verdanturf Town for very long—only having moved there in the past two or three years.

To Yuga's surprise, the negotiations went much more smoothly than he had expected. He barely had to say anything, and both families quickly agreed to move.

This also made Yuga realize he had underestimated his own reputation in Verdanturf Town.

However, since the families were willing to accommodate him, Yuga didn't intend to take advantage of them either. He wasn't short on money now, so there was no need to shortchange anyone.

After discussing it, Yuga offered two compensation options: one, he would personally help the families find new suitable residences; the other was simpler and more straightforward—just give them money!

The two families made different choices based on their circumstances.

One family chose the monetary compensation directly because the amount Yuga offered was quite substantial. They planned to take the money and return to their hotown to open a farm.

In the world of Pokémon, there's plenty of land and not that many people, so in remote rural areas, a large piece of land doesn't cost much at all. The money Yuga offered was more than enough for them to live a very comfortable life back ho, with no need to stay in Verdanturf Town working for soone else.

That family had moved to Verdanturf Town because of the husband's job change. After negotiating with Yuga, he decided to quit his job and take his wife and children back to their hotown.

The other family had a different situation. They had moved to Verdanturf Town because of the health of their elderly parents, and the whole family had co to love life in Verdanturf, planning to settle there permanently. So, they chose the second option.

After the negotiations were successfully completed, Yuga imdiately inford Daichi. After conducting an on-site inspection, Daichi promised to finish designing the new shop blueprints as soon as possible.

Yuga took advantage of this period to deal with the follow-up matters regarding the two neighboring households moving out.

The first household was very simple—after Yuga gave them the money, the entire family transferred the ownership of the land and house to Yuga. As long as their belongings were packed, they could move out imdiately.

The second household was a bit more troubleso. Finding a suitable new ho for them was not an easy task, as Yuga couldn't let them suffer any loss.

With no other choice, Yuga had to turn to Mayor Ishida for help.

With the town governnt involved, the matter beca much simpler. Soon, Mayor Ishida inford Yuga that he had found several suitable locations and asked Yuga to take the family to have a look.

Yuga took ti to personally accompany the family to visit the properties introduced by Mayor Ishida. As expected, Mayor Ishida was reliable—the family ultimately chose a location that was even more convenient for commuting than their original ho.

Yuga paid for the purchase of that house and then transferred ownership to the second family. In return, the neighbors readily transferred ownership of their own house (including land rights) to Yuga.

Just like that, it was two weeks later by the ti both families had fully moved out.

During those two weeks, Yuga was so busy his head was spinning—on one hand he had to find and tour houses for the neighbors, and on the other he was discussing the new shop layout with Daichi, while also helping wtwo buy equipnt, dicine, and other supplies.

Now that the two families had finally moved out, the reconstruction of the shop could officially begin.

After settling all aspects of the rebuilding plan, Yuga entrusted the entire project to Daichi and his team.

Yuga had full confidence in Daichi and his team's professional abilities—after all, the original YoYo Day Care building and the New Ecopark were all designed and constructed by them.

That day, after checking in on the new shop construction site, Yuga headed to the Ecopark. Inside wtwo's lab, he saw Heatran imrsed in a special liquid.

"Is its life saved for now?" Yuga asked, looking at the sleeping Heatran.

"For now, yes. But to fully cure it, I still need to do more research," wtwo replied.

wtwo had quite a bit of expertise in the field of cloned Pokémon—otherwise it wouldn't have been able to create so many cloned Pokémon in the first place.

Although the birth of those cloned Pokémon had elents of chance, wtwo's knowledge ca from Dr. Fuji, the scientist who created it. If wtwo truly dedicated itself to this field, its achievents might even surpass those of Milolovide.

However, wtwo later ca to understand the weight of life and realized that cloned Pokémon represented a disrespect toward life. This is why it had refrained from continuing that line of research.

As Yuga and wtwo continued discussing Heatran's ongoing treatnt, wtwo ntioned that Heatran's genes were highly unstable and continuing to break down. Suddenly, Yuga rembered the small genetic potion formula that had once been rewarded to him by the system.

"Take a look and see if this might help you."

Yuga handed the formula over to wtwo. Unfortunately, he only had the formula for the small genetic potion and not for the more powerful large genetic potion. The ready-made potion that had been part of his previous reward was also long gone—otherwise, it might have truly helped Heatran.

The small genetic potion alone definitely wouldn't be enough to heal Heatran, but if it could at least provide wtwo with so inspiration, that would already be very valuable.

After scanning through the formula quickly, wtwo said excitedly, "This might really help !" With that, it imdiately imrsed itself in research, completely ignoring Yuga.

Yuga squatted beside it for a while. Seeing that wtwo was too busy to pay him any mind, he decided to leave for now.

Just as he lifted his foot to walk away, wtwo suddenly called him back and casually tossed him a list.

"These are all the things I'll need. Go and buy them for as soon as possible."

Yuga casually glanced at it and saw a long list scribbled ssily across the page, filled with many things he had never even heard of.

"Alright then, I'll go buy them later."

Just as Yuga stepped out of wtwo's laboratory, he ran into a sneaky-looking Smoochum.

Yuga put on a stern face and asked, "What are you doing here? Have you finished today's training?"

"Smoochum~"

Smoochum shuffled forward shyly. These past few days, it, Mi Jr., and Clefairy had been undergoing grueling training under Greninja's devilish regin, and every day they were left utterly exhausted—it was just too hard to endure.

"When will your punishnt be over?" Yuga asked with a look of mock surprise, "Punishnt? What punishnt? I don't recall ever punishing you!"

"What? You're talking about the training with Greninja? How could that be considered punishnt? I'm doing this for your own good. Look at yourself—compared to two weeks ago, haven't you gotten stronger?"

Smoochum was at a loss for words. With such intense training, how could it not have gotten stronger!

"Right? Now you understand I'm doing this for your benefit. You're still young now, but in the future, you'll co to appreciate the painstaking effort I put in for you." Yuga said, pretending to be all helpless and exasperated.

"Alright, if there's nothing else, I'll be going now. Rember to train hard and don't slack off!"

As soon as Yuga left, Mi Jr. and Clefairy ca running over.

"Mi Jr~ Mi Jr~"

How was it? How was it? Did Yuga agree to lift our punishnt?

"Smoochum~ Smoochum~"

Smoochum shook its head with tears streaming down its face.

Mi Jr. and Clefairy were struck like lightning, devastated—when would this miserable life ever co to an end!

"Wartortle~ Wartortle~ Wartortle~"

Smoochum! Mi Jr.! Clefairy! Where are you? Break ti is over, co back quickly!

At that mont, Wartortle's voice rang out behind them, and the three little Pokémon shivered in unison and ran back to training with their heads hanging low.

They didn't dare skip training—if Yuga found out, who knew how much longer their punishnt would be extended.

Actually, Greninja wasn't even that much of a devil. Otherwise, the first ones to protest would have been Wartortle and Frogadier, who had been under its instruction all this ti.

It was only because it had received Yuga's subtle hint that it trained the three little ones this way. If they didn't suffer a bit, they'd just go on causing trouble recklessly in the future.

After leaving the Ecopark, Yuga received a call from Wallace. It turned out that the League's reward for him had co through, though this ti, the reward was a rather special one.
