Joyka also revealed that she had detected a foreign object in Alakazam's brain, about the size of a fingernail, which emitted an unknown energy field. Due to interference from this field, further examination was impossible.

When Yuga first brought Alakazam back, he had it examined at the Pokémon Center, and this foreign object hadn't been present then. Yuga speculated that the ergence of this object was likely triggered by the stone fragnt.

Current theories suggested that this unknown object was a product of Alakazam's condensed psychic energy, aning that Alakazam's psychic power was far greater than what they had observed so far. This powerful psychic energy was simply trapped and unable to fully manifest.

Alakazam had awoken because its psychic energy had been "sealed" by the unknown object; without the pressure of its psychic power, its consciousness naturally reawakened.

Joyka speculated that Gothitelle might be the key to helping Alakazam fully release this psychic energy.

She also warned Yuga not to attempt a full release of Alakazam's abilities, as such a release would harm it rather than benefit it. Alakazam's frail body couldn't withstand such powerful psychic pressure, and its current state was ideal.

Yuga and Joyka discussed Alakazam's condition for a long ti. When they ca out, they saw Gothitelle happily showing off her newly acquired abilities to Spoink. Even though these abilities had been "borrowed" from Alakazam, she was still delighted.

After confirming that Alakazam was alright, Yuga took it and Gothitelle back ho. Joyka prescribed so conditioning dication for Alakazam and advised Yuga to have it engage in physical exercise and maintain a balanced diet.

Once they returned, Yuga created a specialized training plan for Alakazam and collaborated with Audino to design its al plan. From then on, Alakazam had to strictly follow the training and diet plan, with Gothitelle as its supervisor.

Although the purity of ordinary evolution stones doesn't significantly impact Pokémon evolution, high-purity veins tend to yield top-grade evolution stones.

All the Water-type Pokémon eagerly vied for more tasks from Yuga, hoping to earn more Water Stone fragnts. However, the efficiency varied due to differences in body structure.

For instance, Croconaw, Poliwhirl, and Poliwrath, which have limbs, could mine faster. In comparison, Pokémon like Sharpedo, Mantine, and Corsola were less efficient.

But so Water-type Pokémon were clever. For example, the Shellos, although slow due to their lack of limbs, had an advantage: their neighbor, Eelektross, possessed powerful, sharp claws, making it an excellent miner.

Although Eelektross lived underwater, it wasn't a Water-type Pokémon and had no need for Water Stones. The Shellos paid Eelektross with their treasured items to hire it for mining work.

Yuga had even collected various types of toxins from elsewhere and added them to the pool, making the venom more potent with each addition.

After checking on the Nihilego, Yuga had just left the Shallow Sea Beach Sub-Ecopark when he saw Gengar float over, signaling for him to follow. It seed Gengar needed a bit of help.

Recently, Gengar and Mismagius had been slipping out of the Shadow Space to find Dusknoir. Every ti Yuga asked what they were up to, they would dodge the question, so he eventually stopped pressing them.

Today, though, Gengar had suddenly co to him—what was it up to? Yuga was curious but obediently followed along.

Originally, Yuga thought he and Gengar were heading to the Haunted House Sub-Ecopark, but unexpectedly, Gengar led him through the light gate that opened into the Desert Sub-Ecopark.

Once inside the desert, Yuga was led straight to an area filled with sand pits. Not only was Mismagius there, but so was Dusknoir, and around them were craters scattered everywhere, as if sothing had exploded. Yuga was at a loss as to what had happened.

"What's going on here?" Yuga asked the three Pokémon, gesturing to the sand pits.

At Yuga's question, Gengar sheepishly explained the whole situation.

It turned out that, after several recent battles, Gengar and Mismagius had realized their combat strength was lacking—they couldn't help Yuga at critical monts. So, they wanted to increase their fighting prowess.

There were two basic ways to boost combat strength: improve skills or raise levels. A significant level increase in a short ti was impossible, so they focused on honing their skills.

Gengar and Mismagius's most unique abilities were their combined moves: Magic Room and Wonder Room.

To enhance these spatial skills, they sought out Dusknoir, who could use Trick Room, aiming to incorporate it into their skill set. Since Magic Room and Wonder Room could combine, they figured Trick Room should be able to join too.

To surprise Yuga, the three Pokémon secretly practiced for a long ti, but combining the three spatial skills was far more complicated than they had anticipated.

At first, they practiced in the Haunted House Sub-Ecopark. However, each failed attempt led to a violent explosion from the unstable space they had created. Since the Haunted House Sub-Ecopark was densely populated with other Pokémon, many of them were frightened by these explosions. With no other choice, the trio moved their practice to the Desert Sub-Ecopark.

In the desert, there was ample space, few Pokémon, and no vegetation, so even if their experints exploded, nothing would be affected.

After countless failures, they had no choice but to seek Yuga's help.

"You want to see where the problem lies?" Yuga asked after listening to their story.

"Gengar!"

"Mismagius!"

Gengar and Mismagius nodded in unison.

"These sand pits... are they also the result of your practice?" Yuga asked, pointing at the craters littering the ground.

"Gengar!"

"Mismagius!"

Gengar and Mismagius gave an embarrassed cry.

"Alright then, show the move from the beginning," Yuga said helplessly.

In truth, Yuga wasn't sure he could spot any issues. He wasn't exactly skilled in Psychic-type moves, and the spatial combo techniques that Gengar and Mismagius had created were largely beyond his understanding.

He had tried to study it before, but the underlying principles were too complex, far beyond what he could comprehend as a novice.

Hearing Yuga's words, Gengar and Mismagius nodded excitedly and flew up into the air. Holding their small hands together, they created a transparent space.

In the center of this space stood Dusknoir, who was far more composed than they were. Once the space appeared, Dusknoir activated Trick Room.

As soon as Trick Room began rging with the space, the entire field vanished before Yuga's eyes.

Buzz!

Yuga seed to see sothing flicker twice, followed by a sudden explosion. Gengar, Mismagius, and Dusknoir were flung backward, and a strange shockwave blasted another pit into the sand, identical to the surrounding craters.

From beginning to end, Yuga had no idea what actually happened when Trick Room rged with the space.

Although there was an explosion, fortunately, the three Pokémon were unhard. They flew back over to Yuga, asking if he had figured out the problem.

Yuga shook his head and said, "I couldn't tell."

Gengar and Mismagius looked disappointed, but Dusknoir remained calm. Having lived so long, it took such things in stride.

"Hey, why don't we ask so Psychic Pokémon to take a look? All three of these space moves are Psychic-type; maybe they could see the issue," Yuga suggested suddenly.

Each field has its experts, and in terms of mastery over Psychic-type moves and control of ntal power, Psychic Pokémon obviously had the upper hand.

At this suggestion, Gengar and Mismagius's eyes lit up. Why hadn't they thought of that?
