27. Silver Dragon's Nest
ng Lian finished dressing, her small face still flushed.
She had to hurry.
Having been toyed with by Katya for so many days, ng Lian had co to understand her temperant. She was soft-hearted toward gentleness but resistant to force, and possessed extre possessiveness.
With such a yandere-like psychology, ng Lian couldn't be certain whether Katya had secretly stationed soone to watch her.
But right now, ng Lian dared to confirm that there was only her in this room.
Because she had just... well, given Katya's personality, if she let outsiders see ng Lian's body, Katya would definitely gouge out that person's eyes. So even if soone really was secretly monitoring her, that person would surely have looked away. Therefore, for now, she was alone in this room.
But whether or not soone was monitoring her, ng Lian knew her ti was running short.
ng Lian retrieved the Levitation Scissors from the storage bead. Looking at these golden scissors, she paused for a mont.
How was she supposed to use these scissors?
ng Lian recalled what her Eldest Senior Sister had said. The Levitation Scissors could cut through space. After thinking for a mont, she picked up the scissors and gently snipped at the empty air. Strangely, ng Lian felt as if she were cutting through paper. Soon, a black fissure appeared in the void before her eyes.
The black fissure looked like a deep scar. Seeing this, ng Lian rejoiced internally. She then pried open the Levitation Scissors and used one blade to slice downward along the spatial fissure. Soon, a crack large enough to accommodate her appeared before her.
ng Lian put away the Levitation Scissors and entered the spatial fissure.
Just before leaving, for so reason, ng Lian suddenly looked back at the room. An inexplicable sense of reluctance rose in her heart.
What the hell. Was I actually enjoying being played with? Why would I feel reluctant?
ng Lian was a bit exasperated. She had been toyed with so miserably by Katya, and now that she finally had a chance to escape, she was actually hesitating.
ng Lian suppressed the strange feeling in her heart and stepped into the spatial fissure without looking back.
If she didn't leave now, she really wouldn't be able to leave at all.
School was starting soon, and she still wanted to use Nordlin to cheat.
After all, with five tis the ti, whatever she did had to be better than being played with every day.
The spatial fissure quickly narrowed into a thin slit, then vanished completely. The enormous room lay empty, as if no one had ever been there.
ng Lian walked into the spatial fissure and found the scenery inside quite peculiar. All around her were various twisted, abstract scenes.
There was no sense of space here. After walking for a while, ng Lian discovered she couldn't judge how far she had gone. She kept feeling like she was walking in place.
I should be out of the manor by now, right?
ng Lian had so understanding of space. The twisted scenes surrounding her were actually reflections of the outside world. A few casual steps she took in this spatial realm could very well translate to several kiloters outside.
ng Lian calculated that she should be far from Katya by now. She retrieved the Levitation Scissors and began slicing open the space before her.
In a forest, a spatial fissure suddenly appeared. A sowhat disheveled golden-haired girl stepped out.
ng Lian erged from the space and looked at the dense trees surrounding her. Breathing in the fresh forest air, her eyes grew moist.
Boohoo, she had finally escaped!
She would never have to be played with again!
Although ng Lian didn't know where she was, she had already planned her next steps. Find an uninhabited place, study magic every day, study illusion arts, and then stun everyone in reality!
ng Lian placed her hands on her hips, her small face full of longing.
I refuse to believe it. With Nordlin as my cheat, studying every day, becoming first among the new students, and getting into the Student Council won't be easy?
Hahaha, I'm so smart!
ng Lian laughed aloud as she thought about it, completely unaware that above her head, a petite figure stood on a tree branch, watching her like she was an idiot.
This creature... if I eat it, will I beco stupid too?
……
"Master, we've searched the entire manor. There is no trace of the Madam anywhere."
The shadow guard knelt before Katya, cold sweat streaming down.
At this mont, Katya was cold as ice. Her small face was so gloomy it looked ready to drip with water.
She never imagined that just monts ago, her dear sister would suddenly vanish.
The shadow guard was also suffering internally. She had just followed Katya's orders to prepare the potion. After finishing it, she thought ng Lian would be done by now and prepared to transform back into a shadow to resu surveillance. But to her shock, there was no sign of ng Lian in the room.
The shadow guard felt as if the sky had collapsed. She hurriedly inford Katya. Hearing this, Katya imdiately ordered a search of every corner of the manor, but they found no trace of ng Lian. It was as if she had simply evaporated.
"Crack!"
Upon hearing the shadow guard's reply, red light surged in Katya's eyes. She directly crushed the armrest of her chair.
"Didn't you plant a shadow mark in Her Highness the Big Sister's shadow? Why can you still not find her?"
Katya's voice was like the bitter wind of deep winter, making the shadow guard tremble.
"Master, for so reason, I cannot sense the shadow mark's presence. I..."
Just then, the shadow guard froze, then spoke with excitent, "Master, I can sense the Madam's shadow mark again!"
"Where!"
Katya imdiately stood up. Seeing this, the shadow guard hurriedly projected a shadow onto the wall. The shadow quickly condensed into the form of a map, and on it, a fingernail-sized black dot was particularly conspicuous.
"This is the Madam's location! The Madam is currently at..."
The shadow guard looked at the position on the map, and her face suddenly turned pale.
"Where is Her Highness the Big Sister? Why did you stop talking?"
Katya furrowed her brows, a bad premonition rising in her heart.
"The Madam is currently in... the Mist Forest, inside the Silver Dragon's Nest."
……
The Mist Forest was nad for the thick fog that enveloped it year-round.
The Mist Forest had always been recognized by the continent as a forbidden zone for life. This was a conclusion countless adventurers had reached with their lives.
The Mist Forest was a vast prival forest that housed various extrely dangerous magical beasts. Among them, the Silver Dragon's Nest was the most dangerous.
Inside the Silver Dragon's Nest, ng Lian was tightly bound to a tree with rope, unable to move.
Before her, a petite silver-haired loli stood on a stone stool, holding a giant ladle and stirring soup in a large pot.
The silver-haired loli had a pair of small silver dragon horns on her forehead. Behind her trailed a massive silver dragon tail, swaying slightly from side to side, indicating her owner's currently excellent mood.
The silver-haired loli was quite adorable, dressed in a pink and white princess gown. Her creamy-white legs were covered in cute white stockings, though for so reason, one of her legs was bare. The white stocking that should have been there had mysteriously disappeared.
"Mmm mmm mmm!"
ng Lian had a white stocking stuffed in her mouth. The little loli had found her too noisy, so she had removed her stocking right in front of her and stuffed it directly into her mouth.
The stocking tasted salty, not slly, with a faint grassy scent. But ng Lian had no mind to savor such details at this mont. She watched in panic as the little loli kept throwing ingredients into a pot as tall as herself.
Clearly, this little loli was not human, but a dragon who had taken human form.
And she, tragically, had beco the little loli's ingredient.
Boohoo, why is my life so miserable? I just escaped from Katya, and now I'm about to be eaten.
She would have been better off going back and letting Katya play with her for a few more days.
