Chapter 75

How Did I Get an Account Opened?

Mojie dragged his limping form as he trudged onward.

A web of black blood vessels was visible on his neck and above, stark against his skin.

This was the secret weapon bestowed upon him by the Family Head.

He just never expected that one injection would nearly cause him to mutate completely!

Mojie could no longer focus on his mission; saving his own life was all that mattered now, everything else was an illusion.

The wound on his arm seed to have stopped bleeding.

Although the Royal Knight’s strike had shattered his arm, that injection had genuinely saved his life.

Now, he could only hope he wouldn’t turn into a monster.

He needed to report Henry’s situation to the Family Head.

Henry’s growth had exceeded everyone’s expectations. If the Rulter family continued to use their old thods against him, they would only be inviting disaster.

“Damn that Henry! Damn those Royal Knights! Once I’ve recovered, I’ll have your lives!”

Mojie’s foot caught, and he fell awkwardly to the ground.

As he tried to get up, the sound of footsteps suddenly ca from behind.

He turned his head in terror, thinking Henry had caught up.

But when he saw who it was, a smirk twisted his lips.

“Wha… what’s this? Isn’t this the maid from Henry’s side?”

Lilith walked forward expressionlessly, appearing completely non-threatening.

Seeing Lilith’s approach, Mojie’s smirk turned teasing.

“Tell , are you following because your master isn’t good enough? Thinking of switching allegiance and serving a new master?”

Lilith didn’t answer. She simply stopped walking and stared directly at him.

Yet, for so reason, eting Lilith’s gaze sent an inexplicable chill down Mojie’s spine.

But reminding himself that she was just an unard maid, he suppressed his unease and continued, “Well? Do you want to leave with ? Or do you want to die here?”

Mojie drew his venomous dagger, ready to attack at any mont.

“Mojie. Forrly an assassin of the ‘Owl’ organization, now serves the Rulter family. Specialties: Assassination, Torture Killing. Weaknesses: Lack of physical strength, Overly arrogant personality, Acts without using his brain.”

Mojie froze, stunned.

This maid had suddenly spoken, listing his information, even his past and his flaws, as if she had laid him completely bare.

He felt utterly exposed, with not a shred of privacy left.

His expression darkened as he stared at the maid, a slight tremor in his voice. “What do you an by that? How did you get this information?”

“You’ve caused a great deal of trouble. I should have been soaking in a hot spring at ho these past few days.”

Lilith’s figure vanished into the darkness.

This made Mojie panic, and he instinctively tried to flee.

But the next mont, his hair was seized violently, and his face was slamd hard into the muddy ground!

Muddy water splashed onto Lilith’s maid dress, but she showed no reaction.

Under the moonlight, Lilith’s eyes glead crimson.

Her small leather shoe pressed down on Mojie’s head, grinding it repeatedly into the muck.

“Furthermore, your troubleso actions have deprived of certain… physical pleasures. That is the most unforgivable thing.”

With those words, she delivered a powerful kick to Mojie’s head.

Mojie’s body flew backward instantly, only stopping when it crashed into a large tree.

She took out a handkerchief, wiped her hands, and then casually discarded it on the ground.

This man couldn’t die yet. He needed to bear all the bla so that Young Master Henry could be released.

She took out a rope, tied up Mojie, and began dragging him back the way they ca.

Jessica sprinted through the streets of the Imperial Capital.

Darkness enveloped the entire city. The usually bustling streets felt eerily silent tonight.

“Milu, you have to hold on!”

anwhile, in a house tucked away in an alley.

A large crowd stood nacingly before the door.

They wore the uniforms of Imperial soldiers, but their deanor was more like that of street thugs and ruffians.

“The higher-ups said none of these kids can be left alive. Once the job’s done, we get a large share of gold coins.”

“It’s just killing a bunch of kids. Won’t take much effort.”

Soone violently kicked open the iron door.

But the mont they stepped inside, a brick fell from above, knocking the person unconscious instantly!

Blood pooled on the ground, a grueso sight.

Yet, seeing their companion knocked out, the group showed no fear. Instead, they dragged the unconscious man aside and discarded him, smiles even appearing on their faces.

“What an idiot. Good, one less person to split the money with. We each get a bigger share now.”

They entered the house, weapons in hand.

The floor was littered with remnants of food, clothes, and bedding—clear signs soone lived here.

More importantly, the embers in the fire pit were still warm.

They were definitely still inside.

“Co on out, kids. Uncle won’t hurt you. Just co with us quietly.”

The speaker toyed with a hamr in his hand, a ferocious grin on his face.

The others overturned the ager furniture in the house, trying to find the children’s hiding spot.

But no matter how they searched, the children were nowhere to be found.

“Dammit! Where are they hiding? Where did they go?”

Soone sat down on the sofa, looking like he’d lost the will to keep searching.

“Let’s just burn the place down. They must still be inside. Burning them to death should still get us paid.”

“What if they’re not dead?”

Another man glared at him discontentedly.

“If we botch this job, we’re the ones who’ll die!”

Hearing this, the sitting man seed to grow restless.

He stood up to leave, but his foot seed to step on a hollow-sounding floorboard.

He looked down curiously.

If you didn’t look closely, you might not notice the difference between this floorboard and the others.

He stomped hard on the floor, the hollow sound growing louder.

All eyes turned to him.

Soon, a vicious smirk spread across his face. He raised his large hamr and smashed it down onto the floorboard!

Instantly, the plank shattered.

Beneath the broken boards, countless pairs of eyes stared up at them in terror.

Milu stood at the front, shielding the other children.

Though the fear was just as plain on her own face.

“Well, well, a whole bunch of kids hiding down here. Let’s just burn them all.”

Soone brought a lit torch to the opening.

That cruel smile caused many of the children to start crying.

But their cries only excited these beasts further.

They could hardly wait to see the children struggling below.

“Turn into my money and fly right into my pocket.”

The man prepared to throw the torch down, but he suddenly realized his hand had sohow fallen to the ground.

“Eh? Why is my hand over there?”

He slowly looked up, seemingly unaware that his severed stump was gushing blood.

Not far away, a young woman with a grim expression strode toward them, sword in hand.
