Chapter 110

What Would a Self-Disciplined Person Need dicine For?

The students were teleported into the Demon Forest.

However, the scene before them felt incredibly real.

It was as if they were truly present during the events of that ti.

Although Reina had reminded the students before they entered that this test would let them experience the brutality of combat,

many students still didn’t take it seriously.

In their view, this was just a routine class test, hardly worth going all out.

“How boring. What is Teacher Reina thinking? We’ve all heard about the great fire in the Demon Forest, do we really have to experience it too?” one student fiddled idly with his wand, clearly not treating it seriously at all.

Just as he was about to turn and leave, he heard a classmate shout behind him.

“Cita, dodge!”

Cita didn’t react in ti, and his body was imdiately bound by dark purple vines sprouting from the ground near his feet!

The flower buds at the tips of these vines blood layer by layer, and the vines coiled around him suddenly surged. The thorns, like living fine needles, instantly pierced through Cita’s body!

A nauseating sense of numbness spread through his blood vessels. He was horrified to discover his limbs were losing sensation.

“What the hell is this thing? Let go!” Cita scread in agony, his hand even losing grip on his wand, which clattered to the ground.

The crowd watched this scene in terror, stepping back one after another.

Deep within the forest, a giant worm covered in compound eyes slowly raised its head. The acidic fluid secreted in its mouth dripped onto a rock, instantly sizzling out a fist-sized pit.

“That’s a Corrosive Worm! Its saliva can even lt armor!”

Soone imdiately recognized the true identity of that worm.

So students present had already scattered and fled, while others raised their wands, attempting to fight back.

But that worm had set its sights on Cita.

Cita watched in despair as the ugly monster approached him.

A mass of sticky silk cocooned his body.

“Save… save .”

His cries for help beca slurred as the venom began to corrode his vocal cords.

The silk tightened continuously, pressing against his ribs until they creaked.

Then, with a crisp CRACK!, the sound of shattering bones mixed with the muffled sound of flesh being squeezed.

In just a few seconds, a large hole was chewed through the silk cocoon, leaving behind only tattered clothing fragnts and a few at-covered bones inside.

Students with poor ntal fortitude scread, their will to fight completely extinguished.

For this group of students who had never witnessed death before, Cita was the perfect teaching material.

Those who underestimate this exam will never co to a good end.

anwhile, elsewhere.

Henry and Ruf were teleported to a remote area, but they had gotten separated from Hebeth.

The imdiate task was to find Hebeth first.

Henry stretched lazily, placing his hands behind his head, looking completely at ease.

Ruf, however, fell to his knees with a THUD right in front of Henry.

“Divine Doctor! There were too many people outside earlier, but now I’m kneeling before you!”

“Hey, none of this empty ceremony. You want the dicine, right? As long as the price is right, I guarantee it will restore your masculine vigor!”

Henry pulled Ruf to his feet, then took out a [Huiyang Dan] from his pocket and placed it in his hand.

Seeing that this small pill was the item that could change his destiny, Ruf beca incredibly reverent.

He first rubbed his face against the pill, then carefully tucked it into his trouser pocket.

The pill’s survival ans the eggs’ survival! If the pill is lost, the eggs are lost!

Henry pursed his lips, almost unable to bear watching Ruf.

Truly, the impotent man is the most fearso!

“I’m telling you, usually you shouldn’t overindulge in desires. Exercise more, get more sun. That’s what’s good for your body.”

“Divine Doctor, if I were that self-disciplined, do you think I would need this pill?”

“… You’re right.”

For the first ti, Henry found himself unable to refute soone’s words. The key point was, he was right!

What would a self-disciplined person need this for?

The two walked through the jungle, searching everywhere for Hebeth.

“Divine… I an, Henry, why do you think Teacher Reina set up this mory fragnt for us to participate in? The dungeon test is next week anyway.”

“Because if you die here, you still have a chance to revive. But if you die in the dungeon, you’re dead for real.”

Henry’s casual remark caused exclamations of varying degrees from the teachers watching from outside.

“Is this the Henry who was abandoned by the Rulters? He seems quite perceptive.”

“It’s a sha he has no magical power. That’s a talent that can’t be changed.”

“But I heard he has a strange energy about him. I think we should observe him more.”

Listening to the teachers’ whispers, Reina, standing to the side, secretly rejoiced.

She knew perfectly well that these old n were looking for students they wanted among this batch of freshn.

She was very clear about Henry’s strength.

After the mory fragnt ended, these people would naturally choose Henry.

And at that ti, she would slowly step forward and announce that Henry was already her disciple.

Sour grapes, you old fools!

The scene cut back to Henry.

Henry and Ruf hadn’t gone far when they heard Hebeth’s cries for help.

“Get away from !”

When the two arrived, they saw Hebeth releasing wind blades that sliced through the body of a vicious wolf.

But what remained for her were over a dozen more vicious wolves staring intently at her.

Several wolf corpses already lay on the ground; presumably, Hebeth had already fought a fierce battle before they arrived.

Hebeth was sweating on her forehead, her breathing rapid from overexpending her magical power.

She could feel her remaining magic was scarce. She had expended too much unnecessary magic at the start of the fight.

If she had conserved so magic from the beginning, she wouldn’t be in such a sorry state now.

After a brief self-assessnt, Hebeth quickly refocused her attention on the wolf pack.

The pack of wolves circled Hebeth continuously, but the distance between them kept closing.

Seeing this, Ruf rushed forward without regard for his own safety.

“Hebeth, are you okay?”

Seeing Ruf appear, a clear smile appeared on Hebeth’s face.

“Ruf! I thought you’d been carried off by a wolf!”

“Save the chatter, are you hurt?”

“I’m fine. But I’ll feel much more at ease with you here.”

Listening to their conversation from behind a tree, Henry got goosebumps.

What the hell kind of loving couple act is this!

You’re on a battlefield! Setting flags like this, are you planning to die together?

If there was an emoji to describe Henry’s mood at this mont, it would be the sweating emoji.

Ruf deployed a Sacred Barrier, separating the wolf pack, while Hebeth used Wind Blades to drive the wolves back.

Truth be told.

Although the power of Hebeth’s Wind Blades wasn’t particularly strong yet, her coordination with Ruf perfectly compensated for this flaw.

After all, with the barrier’s protection, the wolves couldn’t harm the two.

Seeing their attacks couldn’t penetrate the duo’s defense, the wolves retreated one after another, disappearing into the jungle.

But, as luck would have it, one wolf seed to retreat right next to Henry.

Man and wolf made eye contact.

Imdiately, Henry kicked that wolf to death.

“Where did this dog co from?”

Wolf: Bro, I’m a freaking wolf!
