Most of the ti, calling out their status panels would be the first move of anyone as they started a ga, but Zen forgot as he got overwheld by the feeling of being able to live again.

Now rembering this, Zen could not help but beco excited.

And so, he called out his status panel.

A window containing his information appeared in front of his sight.

’What the... why are my stats this low? Is this really the starting point of everyone or... are humans really this weak?’

The information in his status panel made Zen frown in confusion.

’Well maybe it has sothing to do with being bedridden for 10 years... it’s possible.’

Zen thought hard but then realizing that he could just ask Arthur, he cleared his mind and didn’t think about it anymore.

Knock~ Knock~ Knock~

As if on cue, a knock sounded on the door.

"Co in."

He said in a calm voice.

As Arthur entered the room, he noticed that Zen was looking in front of him in a daze.

"Are you looking at your status panel?"

"Yes sir."

Zen replied as he looked towards Arthur.

"Well, let’s first start on the things that you see in there."

Zen listened attentively as Arthur began talking, explaining the basics that could be found within the status panel.

First of all was the level, levels are often used to gauge the strength of a creature. Levelling up would provide one with 2 attribute points which you could distribute freely.

There were also the age, race, class, and titles which were self-explanatory.

They talked about the stats that could be found within the status panel.

It turned out that the stats that a person could see doesn’t equate to the ones that a person had. There are stats that cannot be found in the status panel, also called "hidden stats".

One such example is the [Mind] stat. This stat represents a person’s willpower, reaction speed, thinking ability and many more.

The topic that beca the focus of Arthur’s explanation were the stats that weren’t hidden.

Strength stat which represents the power a person could release from their body. Agility stat for the speed of the person’s body.

Dexterity for the coordination and fast movent of the hands. Constitution which represents the physique and endurance of the body.

And last but not the least, Intelligence which is responsible for a person’s magic power and magic capacity.

In order to avoid Zen being confused, Arthur also got into detail about magic power and magic capacity.

"[Magic Capacity] is how much [Mana], also known as [Magic Energy], you could accumulate in your body while [Magic Power] is how efficiently you can utilize the [Mana] you have stored."

Arthur continued to explain.

"Below your na should be the amount of [Mana] you currently have."

"No matter how little its amount is, whether you are a native or an otherworlder, you will always have mana in your body."

Hearing this, Zen couldn’t help but have an awkward expression on his face.

"Is it possible to have zero?"

Arthur looked Zen in the eyes and said,

"No... no it isn’t."

Zen looked at Arthur, then turned his head to his status panel. He repeated this action many tis, his expression becoming more and more perplexed by the second.

Seeing Zen’s expression, Arthur wondered.

After a while he got up and left Zen behind in the room.

A few minutes passed by, as Zen was becoming more worried, the door to the room was opened.

Arthur entered the room while holding a book.

"Creatures no matter what they are, will regenerate their mana passively as long as they are not in battle."

After taking a sip of coffee from the cup in his hand, Arthur continued.

"Even though that is the case, the amount of mana regenerated passively that way is pitifully small. That’s why various [Energy Gathering thods] where created to accelerate this process."

After talking, he handed the book to Zen.

"Try using the skill provided by this book to accumulate magic energy."

As Zen heard Arthur’s instructions, he looked at the book in his hands.

Zen first looked at Arthur before clicking confirm.

After doing so, the book in his hand turned into glowing particles then moved towards his head.

A magical feeling soon overwheld Zen which made him gasp in shock.

His mind felt a refreshing feeling while new knowledge appeared in his mind, as if it was a part of his mories to begin with.

’Damn, it’s like a drug...’

[The player has successfully learned the skill Basic Mana Gathering thod.]

As Zen finished relishing the feeling of learning a skill, he slowly opened his eyes and heard Arthur’s calm voice.

"Sit down and activate the skill."

Zen closed his eyes and sat down according to the knowledge imparted by the skill book.

As ti passed by, light blue particles erged from the atmosphere and slowly gathered towards Zen’s position, creating a light breeze of wind in the process.

Arthur carefully observed this phenonon while slowly circling around Zen.

Soon enough, the light blue particles of mana began entering Zen’s body.

However, what happened next caused Arthur’s eyes to widen in surprise.
