Lu Beichuan held Ye Zhen’s hand and noticed that it was a bit too cold. He had the servants raised the thermoter and went back to the room to get a jacket for Ye Zhen to wear.

Lu Beichuan went on to remind her, “It’s been cold lately. Don’t go out. Stay ho and take care of your health. Once the weather is better in a few days, I’ll take you out.”
“Go where?”

When Ye Zhen had taken Ye Qing’s place in marrying into the Lu family two months ago, Lu Beichuan was in a coma, so there was no way for them to get the marriage certificate which required both parties present.
“I’m fine. I’m only a month pregnant. It’s not that serious.”
“No, listen to about this.” Lu Beichuan glanced at the ti on his watch. “I have to go to the office soon. Stay ho and rest. If anything cos up, call .”
“Alright, I got it.”
“Ye Zhen ah, doctors will co over later to do an examination. You don’t have to worry, they...” There was a smile across Mrs. Lu’s face as she ca from the living room.
Lu Beichuan stood up. “Mom, I have sothing to discuss with you.”
“Sure, we can talk about it later. Go to work first. We can talk after you co back.” After saying that, she went around Lu Beichuan and entered the kitchen to tell the servants. “Make so snacks that would be suitable for a pregnant woman. Ye Zhen ah, is there anything that you want to eat?”
“... There’s nothing I especially want to eat.”
“Let’s prepare so sour and spicy foods at ho. In addition, all the als should be as light as possible from now on. You guys should know what to cook for a pregnant woman.”
One of the two chefs in the kitchen quickly said, “Madam, don’t worry. We know what to do.”
Satisfied, Mrs. Lu nodded.

“No thanks needed.” Suddenly rembering sothing, Mrs. Lu anxiously looked at Lu Beichuan and asked, “Have you taken Ye Zhen to the hospital to have a thorough examination done?”
Just as Lu Beichuan was about to speak, Mother Lu didn’t wait for his answer.
“Never mind, I can’t count on you. Ye Zhen, I’ll go with you to the hospital later so you can get a thorough examination done.” Mrs. Lu sighed, picked up her phone, and glanced at it. “No, that won’t do. The weather forecast said it’s going to rain today. I’ll go back to the old plan and have the doctors co here, and we’ll wait here.”
Lu Beichuan silently stood there.
“Go to work. Don’t stand here and get in the way!” Mrs. Lu stood in front of Ye Zhen and pushed Lu Beichuan to the side.
Lu Beichuan let his mom push him aside.
Ye Zhen raised her head to look at him. She blinked. “CEO Lu, you should go to work.”
Lu Beichuan deeply looked at her. His gaze darkened, and he suddenly leaned over and kissed her like he was laying siege and punishing her.
The servant on the side exclaid and turned around. Bashful, the servant’s entire face had flushed.
Ye Zhen was also blushing from Lu Beichuan’s sudden kiss. After she whimpered a bit, Lu Beichuan finally let her go.

“You’re not allowed to call CEO Lu.”

Lu Beichuan lowly said, “Call hubby.”
Ye Zhen curled her lip. Looking at the embarrassed servant on the side, she pushed Lu Beichuan and perfuncturaorly said, “Alright, I got it. Hurry up, go to work. It’s already at this point, and you’re dawdling at ho.”
