Chapter 682: Zhao Licheng Has Been Arrested
Su Yang was still driving when he heard Chu Xia’s news and almost slamd on the brakes to stop the car in the middle of the road.
Thankfully, at that crucial mont, his [Tank Driving Ability] helped him avoid this mistake. However, he still slowly leaned to the side of the road as he hurriedly asked, “What happened? Why has he been taken away?”
Chu Xia whispered, “I don’t know that either. The police only said that they were bringing Brother Zhao in to cooperate with an investigation.”
Su Yang stopped the car by the side of the road and turned on the ergency signal in his car. Then, he said to Chu Xia, “It’s fine, stay calm. Right now, could you head over and look for Mr. Fang from the film company opposite where you’re at and ask him to appease the employees for the ti being. I’ll be right there.”
Chu Xia quickly said, “Okay. I’ll head over there right away.”
With that, the call ended.
Su Yang was expressionless as he listened to the “Du... Du... Du... ” tone.
Then, he picked up his phone and called Zhao Licheng. However, as expected, the call did not go through.
After that, Su Yang said to Little Deeny, “Little Deeny, have a think and see if there’s anything that Zhao Licheng shouldn’t have investigated?”

Little Deeny replied, “Understood.”
The call went through quickly and Zhao Licheng’s wife’s voice ca from the other end. “Hello? Is this Mr. Su?”
Su Yang said in a low voice, “Yes, it’s . Now, I’ll ask the questions and you answer then.”
Hearing how serious Su Yang was, Zhao Licheng’s wife did not dare to say anything. She quickly replied, “Okay.”
Su Yang then said, “Zhao Licheng was taken away by the police. Do you know why?”
Zhao Licheng’s wife’s voice was obviously trembling. “What? Licheng has been arrested?”
Su Yang first let out a hum through his nose before he said, “Don’t panic. Tell what’s happened.”
Mrs. Zhao Licheng stamred as she said, “I... I... I don’t know...”
Just when Su Yang thought that Zhao Licheng’s wife did not have any leads, she suddenly added, “But, sothing happened last night, but I’m not sure if it’s related to why he’s been arrested.

Su Yang frowned. “Why didn’t you tell this earlier?”

Su Yang did not comnt much on Zhao Licheng’s thoughts. He only asked Zhao Licheng’s wife a few more questions before hanging up.
After hanging up, Su Yang called Mr. Jia and asked him to find out more about Zhao Licheng incident.
Su Yang had already asked Zhao Licheng’s wife about the location of the conflict last night and found that it happened in Baoshan District. ‘If Cao Qiguang was really the one who reported this case, then the person who’s handling the case should be the person in charge of Baoshan District. I’ll be able to find out a clear answer about this if I ask about it when the ti cos.’
After a while, Mr. Jia called back and said that Zhao Licheng had indeed been brought to the police station in Baoshan District, but he did not exactly know on what charges Zhao Licheng was arrested on.
After that, Su Yang asked Mr. Jia to head down to the police station as a lawyer to ask about the situation. ‘It would be best if he could find out the reason and solve the problem.’
After hanging up the phone, Su Yang did not wait for the news. Instead, he drove back to the office.
After Su Yang parked his car, he went to the office building. Then, when the elevator doors opened, Su Yang saw the receptionist looking in the direction of the E-Comrce company.
Hence, Su Yang knocked on the front desk and asked, “What are you staring at?”
The receptionist instantly ca back to her senses and said in surprise, “Mr. Su, you’re here.”
Su Yang nodded. “How’s the company doing?”
The receptionist said in a low voice, “It’s not very good, everyone’s panicking. Although Mr. Fang did co here to appease them, but... Um... How do I say this?”
She took a few glances at Su Yang to make sure that he would not get angry because of what she was going to say. Then, she whispered, “But, Mr. Fang doesn’t seem to have any experience dealing with such matters and only knows how to console everyone. So, no one’s really buying it.”
Su Yang nodded and said, “Carry on with your work.” Then, he headed to his E-Comrce office.
When he arrived there, the company was filled with noisy whispers. Mr. Fang from the film and television company was comforting everyone in the work area while Chu Xia stood anxiously by the side.
Then, Su Yang walked over and coughed heavily.
His cough drew everyone’s attention to him, causing the commotion within the company to slowly die down until it eventually disappeared without a trace.
Su Yang was pretty satisfied with his reputation in the company when he saw this. After that, he scanned the entire place before activating his [Verbal Cannon] ability. “Why the panic? I’m still here”
His words were powerful and resonating and there seed to be a special charm to them that made the employees feel at ease.
Su Yang then continued, “I’ve looked into Mr. Zhao’s situation. He saw injustice last night and saved a damsel in distress. Therefore, the person in charge of this case has invited him over to assist in the investigation. So, it’s no big deal and has nothing to do with the company, don’t worry.”
After Su Yang finished speaking, the crowd started to chatter again.

Soon, the entire company fell silent once again.

Suddenly, his phone rang, which Su Yang then picked up without waiting for Little Deeny’s reminder.
At first, Su Yang thought that there was news from Mr. Jia, but... It was not.
Instead, A familiar voice ca through the phone. It was Mr. Shen from the bank.
Mr. Shen’s voice sounded very flattering. He smiled obsequiously at Su Yang and said, “Mr. Su, it’s Mr. Shen. I’ve been trying to call you a few tis before, but you didn’t answer. I’ve finally got through this ti.”

At that thought, Su Yang replied unhappily, “Is sothing the matter? The repaynt of my loan is only going to expire in May. Why are you rushing again?”
After saying that, Su Yang was about to hang up, but Mr. Shen quickly said, “No, no, no, Mr. Su. I’m not calling you about the loan. I just want to ask if your money in the bank can be used as a structural deposit. This way, you will receive even more benefits.”

Su Yang completely ignored Mr. Shen’s words and hung up.

On the other end, Mr. Jia’s voice could be heard. “Mr. Su, things don’t seem very optimistic. The other party has also sent a professional lawyer and even brought along evidence.”
Su Yang asked, “Is it because of the fight?”
