It was another torture device similar to the previous one, where destroying the device would free the prisoner’s soul trapped inside, thereby yielding a high-quality Soul Crystal.

The Death Lord, now a chanized flesh-and-blood Puppet Beast, made a lot of noise during combat. Even from a great distance, Song Jian could sense it and felt sowhat relieved. He was lucky to have arrived earlier; otherwise, he might have run directly into the Dwarf Priest, Situ Kaiss.
The Dwarf Priest had now fallen and beca an Abyss Priest. Although she couldn’t use many of the holy light abilities, an Abyss Priest possessed many powerful offensive skills, and along with the Death Priest and the Shadow Priest, they were dubbed the three most terrifying priest classes.
Fortunately, Situ Kaiss did not have the exact locations of the remaining two Soul Crystals. She had to search through the entire Dark Prison slowly, which greatly benefited Song Jian. After obtaining the second Soul Crystal, Song Jian retreated from the direction of the battle noises and headed towards the location of the third and final Soul Crystal.

“A Bloodthirsty Dragon Lizard Beast, with the Soul Crystal actually set into its forehead?” Song Jian was sowhat surprised. Soul Crystals were considered man-made treasures, but now it seed to be part of a creature’s body, prompting thoughts about what kind of story had unfolded.
For a mont, Song Jian felt this was a tricky situation. To obtain the last Soul Crystal, he would probably have to fight this imnse creature. Ti was of the essence, and Situ Kaiss might have noticed that the second Soul Crystal had been taken and could appear at any mont. If she found Song Jian, they would inevitably clash over the Soul Crystal.

Although it couldn’t see Song Jian, the Bloodthirsty Dragon Lizard Beast sensed his presence. Its Dark Gold eyes flashed with a bloody glow. It imdiately opened its mouth wide and spewed a Dragon Breath, characteristic of the Dragon Clan, from the cage.
Like a flathrower spraying scorching Dragon Breath in a 120-degree arc, even though it didn’t know Song Jian’s exact location, it could still determine the rough direction he was in.
Glorious golden flas instantly engulfed the iron bars of the cage.
As the bloodthirsty Dragon Lizard Beast opened its huge mouth, Song Jian had already alertly backed away five or six ters. The creature before him was about the sa size as the Black Dragon, and the action it took while spewing Dragon Breath was identical to that of the Black Dragon.

The cage before him definitely had a fire-resistant array of so sort. Otherwise, it would not have remained intact under the blistering Dragon Breath.
The monsters that had escaped from their cages had done so only after the corresponding restraining arrays had failed, allowing them to break free.
Such a sturdy cage not only prevented the Dragon Lizard Beast from getting out but also stopped Song Jian from getting in, making it impossible for him to remove the Soul Crystal from its forehead.
“What a pity, the Key of Oblivion has already been used up. Otherwise, I could have opened the cage from the outside!” Song Jian looked at the tightly closed cage door and felt a tinge of regret.
As Song Jian was thinking of a solution, he suddenly heard a series of heavy footsteps coming from a distance. He instantly frowned and hid in a dark corner.
Soon, a massive figure appeared before Song Jian. The nearly recovered Death Lord was carrying the Abyss Dwarf Priest Situ Kaiss and slowly walked over.

She controlled the Death Lord, slowly approaching the cage of the bloodthirsty Dragon Lizard Beast, observing the creature carefully.
The Dragon Lizard Beast, sensing Song Jian’s presence, was pacing restlessly within its cell. However, Situ Kaiss did not suspect anything, thinking it was her arrival that caused the creature’s agitation.

To create a chanical flesh golem, I only need your strong body; whether you’re alive or not doesn’t matter.”
Having said that, Situ Kaiss jumped off the Death Lord, pointed at the cage of the bloodthirsty Dragon Lizard Beast, and gave the order, “Destroy this cage, kill the creature inside!”
