'Who am I? Where am I? My head hurts….'
Waking up, this was the second ti Elric had such thoughts since coming to Elias
*What happened to ?"
Opening his eyes, Elric imdiately surveyed his surroundings.
Around him, five corpses could clearly be seen each with a fist-sized hole piercing through a part of their body
*Argh!!!!*
Just as he was about to continue observing, a sharp pain swept through his head causing him to grunt loudly in pain
Unfortunately, the pain didn't seem to lessen but rather I'm increased as ti passed
"Ahhh!"
Soon it felt like his whole head was going to explode, unable to contain the pain he roared out holding his head in pain.
"Young master!! (×3)
Hearing Elric shout, Davis, George, and Alvin who was discussing Eric's situation quickly rushed in.
"Davis, what is going on with the young master?"
Seeing Elric like this, George quickly ca to Elric's side giving Davis a look full of scrutiny.
"Don't look at like that, and how would I know? the young master just told to wait for him while he dealt with the monsters in the cave"
Said Davis as he quickly explained his innocence, unfortunately what he just said seed to make the situation worse as George suddenly flared up
"What do you an you left him alone? Aren't you the strongest Davis? Aren't you ant to be the one who'd protect the young master when needed?"
"What's the use of your strength if the young master ends up protecting you."
Taking slowing down to catch his breath George unloaded all his anger on Davis
After All this is not back in the village where everyone feared and respected Davis due to his strength.
Now that Elric had introduced the concept of magic to him, George felt he and Davis were on the sa level.
So seeing Elric in such a state, George completely let loose on Davis completely devoid of the earlier fear and respect towards him, at this point he had long regarded Davis as a peer.
And Davis hearing the words of George clearly knew that he was in the wrong, so without saying anything he just kept his head bowed clenching his fists.
Soon silence entrenched the cave as neither side said anything to the other.
*Cough cough*
"Um, you guys?" Said Alvin interrupting the silence
Hearing Alvin's voice George and Davis looked toward him at the sa ti
"What's!?" (2×)
Speaking simultaneously, both of them had a slightly annoyed expressions on their face.
And as if feeling their anger, Alvin quickly cut to the chase.
"Both of you turn back, the young master's waking up!"
As Alvin spoke, a sense of excitent could clearly be felt in his voice.
*Cough cough*
Sure enough, as soon as Alvin said that, the sound of Elric's coughing could vaguely be heard.
Realising this, without hesitation the two of them imdiately turned to look in Elric's direction.
And Elric by this ti had already gotten a hang of himself, the sharp pain had greatly reduced giving him a mont to catch his breath
*Sigh… I guess I'll have to be cautious when using combat mode next ti*
Thinking of what just happened, Elric could help but shiver lightly with fear.
It turns out that during the combat mode, although he was extrely efficient and powerful with his strikes, but the consecutive use of magic quickly drained his spirit causing him to faint and thus the headache
"However it's not all bad" Mumbling under his lips although still a bit afraid, a wry smile appeared on his face when he thought the fact that the feeling of heaviness in his soul had greatly reduced
"It turns out that exhausting one's ntal power can reduce its heaviness, are they side effects? Is there any limit to this thod?"
Unfortunately no matter how many tis Elric asked himself these questions he couldn't solve them. Noting this, he quickly recorded his observation in his A.I chip.
"Davis, George, Alvin, how long was I out?"
Dusting off his body, Elric stood to face them with a light smile
"Not long young master, you suddenly fainted for no reason and then woke up screaming. We were really worried"
Taking the lead, Davis stepped forward planning to plead his guilt for letting him go into danger alone.
It's just that Elric had already seen through what Davis wanted to do.
"Davis it's fine, aren't I the one who let you wait behind plus as you can see nothing has happened to "
"So relax, the reason I fainted was for another thing which I'll tell you when the ti is right"
Said Elric as he tried to comfort Davis to lessen his guilt, especially one that wasn't his fault.
Soon after a few minutes of persuasion Davis, George and Alvin successfully cald down.
"So you g master what do we do know, rember were trapped"
Just when the atmosphere had begun to lessen, Alvin suddenly brought up the issue of them being trapped in the cave causing George's and Davis faces to beco gloomy
"Haha, don't worry about that I've already thought of a plan"
However, unlike the serious faces in his front, Elric gave a slight laugh indicating he'd already figured out a solution.
"Great! Young master, I knew you would let us down" said George
Hearing that Elric had a solution, George fully believed him after all since the period of their escape from the village Elric had given him too many surprises, so much so that Elric figuring an exit would be the least surprising thing he had experienced.
"So you master how do we ge-"
*Grrrrr*
Just as George was about to ask Elric the way out, his stomach suddenly growled attracting everyone's attention
*Ahem!*
Feeling everyone's gaze George couldn't help but cough slightly trying to change the topic thankfully Elric bailed him out.
"You know what, why don't we eat sothing first before discussing a way out"
Shifting his eyes away from George's stomach Elric asked everyone
"Fine with "
"I'm also hungry!"
"I'll eat if you're eating!"
Upon imdiately hearing Elric questions, the three of them quickly agreed
*Clap*
"It's decided then, let's eat!"
With a clap of his hands, Elric pointed to the dead thunder bunny close to him
