Just from the fact that the owner of the eyes only glared at him and had no other action, Elric knew he was safe for now.

Thinking of this, Elric felt he should be extra careful now that Asmodeus might be watching.

Looking at Elric who suddenly paused in front of the portal George couldn't help but be slightly confused

Unfortunately, no one answered his question as Elric was still talking to himself in his mind and the Amazons were equally confused by his sudden pause

"It's nothing George, sothing just ca to mind, I'll tell you about that later"
"Now we have to deal with this abyss crack in front of us*
Waving his hand to indicate he was fine, Elric's eyes turned serious as he began to communicate with Ava in his mind.
