For Chen Xin, a dical kit stocked with a complete range of drugs and filled with various dical supplies is precisely what he needs.
Although Chen Xin himself also has a dical kit and a field first aid kit, these are just ordinary household dical kits and ergency kits for wilderness survival.
Even though Chen Xin tried to stock up with as many kinds as possible of dicines before the disaster, they were basically just so common household dicines like cold dicine and anti-inflammatory pills.
It certainly cannot compare to a professional dical kit, especially since the group mber providing the dical kit specifically ntioned they would prepare enough drugs and a complete set of basic surgical tools inside.
This group mber’s forr nickna in the survival group was "Doctor," and he indeed works as a doctor, but not in a hospital; he opened his own clinic.
When the survival group was discussing what dical survival supplies to prepare, it was he who provided a lot of advice and help from a professional standpoint. So dicines and dical supplies were also acquired through his connections.
Speaking of which, the dicines in Chen Xin’s dical kit were also organized with his help.
So when the "Doctor" ntioned he could trade a dical kit with various drugs and basic surgical equipnt for an oxygen concentrator from Chen Xin, Chen Xin agreed after only a little consideration.
This was actually also related to Chen Xin’s desire to set up a dical room for himself.
He had tried to partition off a dical room using his dical kit and first aid kit when he first obtained the Survival System, but obviously, with such rudintary tools, the system wouldn’t recognize it even if it were omnipotent.
Now the "Doctor" says he can provide more professional dical tools, which naturally caught Chen Xin’s attention and interest.
If he could use these dical tools to set up the dical room, it would be great news and an improvent in survival quality for Chen Xin.

The "Doctor’s" refuge is located in the city’s old town, near Dongting Lake.
This area used to be old blocks, which were upgraded and transford into Jiangnan-style gray-tiled, white-walled structures by the previous Mayor, redeveloping the area into a tourist and comrcial street.
"Doctor" lived here before the disaster, and his clinic was also located here.
His ho wasn’t a newly rebuilt house but an old one with a layer of exterior decoration added after renovation.
But even so, the original gray tiles and white walls were very nice-looking, though now they’re charred and blackened, looking like ruins.
When Chen Xin arrived, the "Doctor" was waiting eagerly.
"You, Writer, have finally co!" Seeing Chen Xin appear, the "Doctor" hurriedly greeted him.
"Long ti no see, Doctor." Chen Xin greeted the "Doctor" and parked his vehicle at the front of his house.
The "Doctor’s" house wasn’t as spacious as Chen Xin and Mo Qingyan’s where you could drive the car into the refuge. It was just a small building along the street with a half-basent structure and an additional basent level dug out by him during the previous street renovation, forming the Doctor’s refuge.
After removing the oxygen concentrator from the car, the "Doctor" quickly handed over the dical kit he had prepared long ago.
Chen Xin opened the dical kit, checked the items inside, and nodded to the "Doctor," indicating there were no issues.
Seeing Chen Xin approve of the goods, the "Doctor" called out to his disfigured clinic, and an old man and a young woman ca to haul the oxygen concentrator inside together.
Behind them, there was also an older woman watching them closely, full of vigilance and suspicion toward Chen Xin.
"Who are these people?" Chen Xin frowned slightly; the young woman he recognized, as she was a little nurse who worked at the "Doctor’s" clinic.
A very simple girl, but she was from out of town and stayed to work in the city after graduating from dical vocational school here.
As for the other elderly couple, Chen Xin had never seen them before, especially since both wore masks and scarves wrapped around their heads, making it hard to identify who they were.
The "Doctor," hearing Chen Xin’s inquiry, quickly introduced them: "These are my parents; they used to live in the countryside. I didn’t want them to squeeze into the official refugee centers, so I brought them here."
Hearing this, Chen Xin nodded without surprise. It’s only natural to think about one’s own parents and family when there is space and ability.
If Chen Xin’s parents were not living back in their hotown in another province, he would have let them stay with him.
Chen Xin didn’t worry about his parents, though; he had told them about building a refuge before the disaster and asked them to co back to stay.
However, Chen Xin’s parents found it too troubleso to move back and forth, and his relatives in his hotown were all from the sa village. The local refuge was also built in that village, so they didn’t co back but stayed with their relatives.
Therefore, Chen Xin didn’t find anything strange about the "Doctor" bringing his parents over.
But seeing the young woman helping "Doctor’s" father carry the oxygen concentrator, Chen Xin was a little curious why she was there, casting a strange look at the "Doctor."
Perceiving Chen Xin’s gaze, the "Doctor" felt embarrassed and hurriedly explained: "Xie Chang is alone in this city, and after the disaster, she couldn’t return ho, so I kept her here to avoid crowding in the official shelters."
"Is that so? Seems like you two plan to be together?" Chen Xin teased the "Doctor" upon seeing his embarrassed expression.
It’s not surprising if sothing developed between Xie Chang, the little nurse, and the "Doctor," especially in this environnt where the "Doctor" took her in, and the two getting together wouldn’t be unusual.
However, just after Chen Xin said that, the "Doctor’s" mother, who was watching them, harshly comnted, "My son will never be with a woman like her! Eating from us, living with us, and now she wants to be my daughter-in-law? No way! She’s just a hired help for our family!"
The ’Doctor’s’ mother’s words made Xie Chang freeze involuntarily while moving the stuff.
Chen Xin looked at the "Doctor’s" mother with a changed expression. Although her words seed reasonable, her attitude and speech were really off-putting.
