The Europeans have no fighter jets left, and this news really surprised the high-ranking officials in the Fla Country.

Although everyone had anticipated old Europe’s state of disrepair, they didn’t think it would be this extre.

Faced with such a situation, even though quite a few people felt it would be easier to ignore the Europeans and tackle the extraterrestrials ourselves, the high-ranking officials still convened a special eting to discuss new aid plans for Europe.

After all, despite everything, these Europeans are indeed resisting the extraterrestrial invasion, and it wouldn’t be right for the Fla Country to leave them entirely unattended or simply take over themselves.

While taking over might allow the Fla Country to better utilize these Europeans’ resistance, the high-ranking officials, after careful consideration of the problems they would face, ultimately abandoned this tempting idea.

In essence, although life’s been easier for the Fla Country lately, there are still many issues at ho to deal with, and there’s not enough leeway to handle European matters.

Indeed, taking over completely could provide benefits like land and population from old Europe, but unfortunately, the Fla Country doesn’t have the appetite to swallow such a large cake, not even with Lucia as an ally.

"Colleagues, you are all aware of the situation in Europe. What thoughts do you have?" asked the high-ranking leader chairing the eting.

"These Europeans are regressing more and more! I say we should just send our troops over ourselves. After all, with the Land Ship, deploying troops there isn’t a hassle, and these Europeans can’t be relied upon!" A military officer at the eting bluntly expressed his dissatisfaction with the Europeans and shared his thoughts.

When it cos to soldiers, they always like to solve problems directly. If the Europeans don’t hold up, they’ll take over.

Although this is a straightforward approach, it’s still a valid one. The Fla Country initially considered this too. But due to the influences and distractions of dostic battles, the military currently doesn’t have sufficient forces to deploy in Europe.

So, regarding this idea, an official directly stated, "Although the Land Ship can help us easily transport troops to Europe, unfortunately, we don’t have enough troops to maintain two fronts simultaneously—it’s too consuming!"

"Yes, and it’s not just the manpower; the logistics can’t keep up either. Currently, the ammunition consumption at the Dongting Lake Battlefield is very high, and we can only sustain one battlefield’s consumption," another official chid in, explaining the current logistical situation.

The speeches of the two officials clearly dispelled the officer’s idea of directly sending troops to Europe.

However, leaving the European issue unattended is obviously impossible. For the Fla Country, they still need various European countries to exist and maintain their defense lines to fend off extraterrestrial attacks, allowing the Fla Country to focus on dealing with dostic extraterrestrial threats.

"Support for Europe must continue," the high-ranking leader, giving the table a slight tap, set the tone for the discussion. "The Lucians are currently building the Eastern European Defense Line to serve as the second line of defense against extraterrestrial invasions, so they, too, can’t spare much manpower for now.

Based on the information we’ve received from the Lucians, they can only deploy at most a brigade of forces for the ti being, making it unlikely for us to assu the European defense operations.

Even though no one wants this line of defense to be used, Europe needs to hold on until it’s completed!

Moreover, even when the Eastern European Defense Line is built, according to the Lucians’ plan, it’s ant to gather European refugees and defeat armies, using them as the main force to bolster the defense. So, let’s figure out how to help European countries sustain as long as possible."

With the high-ranking leader setting the tone, others naturally had to conduct discussions around this guideline.

At this mont, Chen Xin suddenly asked, "If I recall correctly, before the end of the Cold War, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization had stored a large amount of military equipnt in Europe. Are these still around?"

"Cold War equipnt?" The question from Chen Xin instantly sparked surprise, as everyone was curious why Chen Xin brought this up.

However, in etings like these, if soone asks, there will be answers, so a staff mber quickly responded, "Most of this equipnt is still around, except for a small portion that was damaged due to subrged storage sites or bad weather. The majority of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s Cold War equipnt is still there and confird to be operational. In fact, European countries have already unlocked a significant portion of this equipnt to arm their troops."

Perhaps thinking Chen Xin’s question might relate to the topic under discussion, the staff mber added, "They seem to have a batch of stored Cold War-era fighter jets, but due to a lack of spare parts, they don’t plan to deploy them."

Upon hearing this, Chen Xin nodded knowingly and then proposed, "I think we can send a maintenance team from ho to Europe to help these Europeans repair and deploy the stored aircraft.

Even though these planes are Cold War products, they should still be usable against extraterrestrial threats. As for the parts issue, as long as they provide the blueprints, I believe with 3D printing equipnt, it’s not a problem to print parts for them."

Chen Xin’s suggestion surprised the eting attendees, but they quickly agreed with his idea.

Although Cold War-era fighter jets are sowhat outdated compared to modern ones, they’re still quite serviceable. After all, the goal is to fight extraterrestrial threats, which don’t require modern jets’ advanced electronic warfare and radar stealth capabilities. Their supersonic speed is more than enough.

More importantly, during the Cold War, Europe was the buffer zone between the Federation and Suyia. If war broke out, this would have been the battlefield, so both European countries and the Federation deployed significant troops and weaponry here.

At that ti, they spared no expense in preparing for a potential third world war, resulting in an astonishing amount of weaponry and equipnt.

Even though most of this equipnt was decommissioned after Suyia’s dissolution and the end of the Cold War, an impressive quantity of stored equipnt remains.

While lacking maintenance and spare parts has left these planes and equipnt in disrepair, if fixed, these old machines could still be of great use.
