"Sir, did I hear that right? You have no fighter jets?" The diplomat looked incredulously at the embarrassed French staff mber across from him.
Though France is often mocked, the Iron Cross rusts, and the Brits are busy selling out, these are traditional European powerhouses with a history of martial prowess. Even though two world wars drained their resources leading to a long decline post-WWII, not having fighter jets seems preposterous.
England might have lost their holand and France their Paris, but they were established industrial powers!
Even though planes can’t take off under current conditions, making fighter jets useless, it’s unfathomable that you don’t have any left!
That’s what the diplomat thought and asked, lacking any patience for diplomatic jargon given the pressing situation.
However, faced with the diplomat’s inquiries, the French staff regrettably reported: "We had so fighter jets previously, and they were sealed when disaster struck, but during the alien onslaught, they were deployed and destroyed due to the bad conditions and the airborne alien units."
"Didn’t you continue making new ones?" The diplomat was puzzled.

The French staff explained to the Fla Country diplomat, showing a slightly helpless expression: "We want to produce new fighter jets, but... the resources for one fighter jet are enough to arm an entire regint, so we have to allocate resources to urgent needs."
The high cost of modern fighter jets is indeed true. One French-developed Rafale fighter costs around seventy million euros, which could easily fully arm an infantry regint, complete with heavy equipnt.
In such a dire situation, European nations need sufficient troops to bolster their defenses, arming more infantry is more practical than fighter jet production.
Especially as the lifespan of fighter jets is severely shortened in today’s conditions, with engines unable to handle the dusty atmosphere.
So a scorched-earth policy, abandoning the air force is sowhat understandable for European countries.
But Fla Country diplomats, although understanding, still find it unbelievable and unacceptable.
Fla Country is also fighting alien creatures, though the intensity and scale are weaker than the European battlefield, but Fla Country is not rely passively resisting like European nations.
Feeling pride for his nation, the diplomat told the French staff with so resignation: "Originally, we planned to assist your country with air filter equipnt to restore your air combat capabilities to fight the alien aerial units.
But since you don’t have fighter jets, we’ll have to modify our original plan, I hope your country doesn’t mind."
Despite feeling helpless and irritated, diplomatic niceties must be maintained.
"It’s only right. Our people greatly appreciate your country’s aid, and I express my gratitude on behalf of my nation." The French staff expressed thanks to the Fla Country diplomat and further stated: "Regarding aid, our high-level officials and military, after discussions with other countries, urgently require more exoskeletons and electromagnetic rifles to arm our soldiers, enabling them to fight against those alien creatures."
Upon hearing this, the Fla Country diplomat nodded in confirmation: "I will relay this to our ho country. In fact, the logistical base established in the Ruhr Industrial Zone has started producing these outfits, and they are already being supplied to Germany. You should receive yours soon."
"That’s great news. With equipnt capable of harming those alien creatures, our soldiers will fight them courageously, stopping their invasion." The French staff seed quite confident in their soldiers’ resolve.
Yet, the Fla Country diplomat couldn’t share this optimism. Though he maintained composure outwardly, internally his disdain for these Europeans grew.

Returning to the fleet’s base, the diplomat reported the European situation back ho.
"These Europeans..." After listening to the diplomat’s report, the dostic liaison officer felt a wave of helplessness.
They originally expected European nations to be in sowhat better shape, but the reality was worse than imagined?
"Alright, I understand the situation, I’ll report it to the relevant departnts." The officer nodded in acknowledgnt and encouraged the diplomat: "You’ve done a great job; as for the European aid plan, the ho country will reassess it, needing your collaboration for execution."
After addressing the matter, sothing seed to occur to the officer, and he told the diplomat: "The cargo ships transporting supplies to Europe should arrive within the next couple of days, according to their pace; you should prepare to receive them and help facilitate their work, as their mission extends beyond just delivering supplies."
"That’s our duty, we’re obliged to help." The diplomat nodded earnestly, agreeing without hesitation, despite not knowing what assistance might be required.
