Chapter: Explaining Lily power.

---

The Chapter opens far from Adam’s base, where an old-fashioned Japanese mansion exudes an aura of serenity, its intricate architecture standing as a testant to the past.

Surrounding the mansion is an unbroken line of security personnel who, at first glance, appear to be ordinary civilians.

However, their calculated movents and sharp gazes reveal their true nature—highly trained operatives camouflaged as everyday people.

They patrol the periter with disciplined precision, ensuring that no threat breaches the tranquility of the estate.

Among the guards, Atlas and Hang, two imposing figures, move through the grounds.

Atlas, with his broad shoulders and intense focus, ticulously inspects every corner of the northern periter.

His sharp eyes scan for anomalies, his every step deliberate.

At the opposite end, Hang moves with surprising agility for his stocky fra, his hands constantly brushing against his concealed weapon as he evaluates potential vulnerabilities in the defenses.

Their synchronization highlights the significance of their mission—to protect the mansion and its secrets at all costs.

Inside the estate’s heavily guarded grounds, the clones of the power holders who allied with the governnt—Sona, Ninja, and Tayo—are conducting their patrols.

These clones are exact replicas, their movents and mannerisms indistinguishable from their originals.

Ninja leaps across the towering boundary walls with the fluidity of a predator, each movent precise and calculated.

His sharp eyes dart across the landscape, ensuring no hidden threat escapes his gaze.

anwhile, Sona and Tayo soar gracefully above the estate, their wings cutting through the air with barely a sound.

From their elevated vantage point, they scan the area for anything unusual, their synchronized movents a testant to their efficiency.

Despite their silence, an unspoken tension lingers in the air.

These clones are not just guarding a mansion; they are defending a stronghold that serves as the epicenter of Lily’s plans.

The scene transitions to the interior of the mansion, where Lily sits in a spacious room.

The decor mirrors the traditional Japanese aesthetic of the mansion, with sliding bamboo screens and low wooden tables.

Lily occupies the center of the room, seated at a large table covered with docunts. She appears calm, yet her sharp gaze betrays the intensity of her thoughts.

Across from her, Zora, a clone of a captured power holder, kneels in submission.

Zora, who has been captured by the governnt, is currently held captive in their secret base by Logan.

His head remains bowed, his posture rigid as if afraid to draw Lily’s ire.

The flickering light from a nearby screen reflects on his face, highlighting his nervous expression.

Lily’s focus shifts from the docunts to Zora. "Have you noticed any movent from The Union mbers?" she asks, her voice cutting through the silence like a blade.

Zora, still kneeling, responds imdiately. "My dear Lord Lily-sama, we have observed no movent from them. We expected that they would act as soon as the governnt’s announcent was made, perhaps by approaching the governnt directly. But nothing has happened."

Lily’s brow furrows as she processes his report.

Setting her docunts aside, she turns her attention to a large television screen displaying footage from the governnt’s recent press conference.

The room falls into silence as she watches, her mind racing with possibilities. Behind her, Zora keeps his head lowered, too intimidated to speak further.

Lily’s confusion grows. The Union’s lack of response to the governnt’s announcent is uncharacteristic.

Normally, an announcent of such magnitude would provoke an imdiate reaction, especially from a group as formidable as The Union.

Her gaze shifts toward the garden visible through the large window to her left.

The ticulously maintained landscape contrasts sharply with the unease gnawing at her. Suddenly, her attention is drawn to movent outside.

Ninja teleports into the garden, his sudden appearance breaking her train of thought.

His presence seems to demand attention, and Lily obliges, turning her full focus to him.

"Ninja," she calls out, her tone sharp and commanding. "Did you detect any activity from The Union mbers?"

Still kneeling on the garden floor, Ninja shakes his head solemnly. "My dear Lord Lily-sama, I deeply regret to inform you that I found no activity from them. Furthermore, I failed to locate their base."

Lily’s expression hardens. "And what about their leaders? Did you uncover anything about them?"

Ninja’s response is imdiate. "My dear Lord Lily-sama, when you created us, our mories were wiped clean. We only retained the knowledge of how to use our skills. Despite all our searches, we have found neither their base nor their leader."

Lily’s sharp gaze lingers on Ninja for a mont longer. His failure to gather any significant information only adds to her frustration.

As Ninja returns to his patrol, Lily leans back in her chair, her thoughts turning inward. She contemplates the limitations of her cloning ability, her mind replaying the intricacies of its function.

When I created these clones, their mories were automatically wiped out.

This ensures their loyalty to rather than to their original leaders, she thinks.

Yet, despite its usefulness, this feature is a double-edged sword.

Without their mories, the clones lack the context that might make them more effective in their missions.

Her thoughts deepen. I can clone anyone simply by observing them. The clones I create are just as powerful as the original at the mont of cloning.

However, this power has a critical flaw: if the original becos stronger, the clone does not. No matter how much training a clone undergoes, it cannot surpass the strength it had when it was created.

Lily’s gaze drifts to the ceiling as these limitations weigh heavily on her mind.

For all the power her ability provides, its restrictions leave her vulnerable in ways she cannot ignore.

She resolves to find a way to overco these challenges, even as the uncertainty surrounding The Union continues to loom large.

The Chapter concludes with Lily deep in thought, the tension in the air thick as she grapples with the mysteries that surround her and the limits of her power.
