Chapter: Return to Ani’s Room

The faint hum of energy still lingered in the air as Adam and his group materialized inside Ani’s room.

The golden light from the teleportation faded, leaving behind a serene glow that illuminated the intricately decorated space.

Ani’s room was as vibrant as her personality—a delicate blend of warm tones and soft fabrics, with an array of glowing orbs hovering near the ceiling to provide a magical ambiance.

Sitting on the plush armchair near the window was Ani’s elder sister, Yami. Her presence was as commanding as it was graceful, her piercing gaze reflecting her curiosity and intelligence.

In her hands, she cradled Tayo, the Sun Spirit—one of Adam’s most unique creations.

Tayo was srizingly small, no larger than a human palm. Its four delicate wings shimred with a radiant blue hue, fluttering gently like those of a dragonfly.

Its golden hair fell like a soft cascade around its petite figure, matching the glimr of its golden garnts, which seed to emit a faint, otherworldly glow.

As the golden light from Adam’s teleportation settled, Yami’s eyes widened in shock. She shot up from the armchair, her commanding aura replaced with visible astonishnt. "What...!" she exclaid, her voice echoing slightly in the stillness of the room.

---

Ani stepped forward, her movents brisk and purposeful, as she gently laid Sona on the bed. Sona, still unconscious from their recent ordeal, seed peaceful in her slumber. Her breathing was steady, though her complexion betrayed the toll their journey had taken on her. Ani carefully adjusted a pillow under Sona’s head, her expression softening with concern.

Adam took a mont to survey the room, his sharp eyes scanning every detail. His mind raced as he realized sothing was amiss. Where are Pratham and Mikasa? he thought, his brows furrowing slightly.

Reaching into his pocket, Adam retrieved his phone. He pressed a button, and his voice broke the tense silence. "Pratham? Mikasa? Are you in here?"

The phone screen lit up with a sudden burst of blue, and two digital avatars materialized on the display. Pratham and Mikasa appeared in miniature holographic form, their presence unmistakable. Their skin had taken on a striking blue tone, their eyes glowed with a vivid azure light, and their flowing white hair complented their ethereal appearance. They were dressed in winter-thed clothing, soft and practical, as though prepared for a harsh, icy landscape.

---

Adam’s initial surprise gave way to curiosity as he studied their forms. Pratham was the first to speak, his tone calm and respectful. "Lord Adam," he began, his voice carrying a faint reverberation, "our physical bodies could not accompany you into your world. The mont we left the dinsional plane, our forms reverted to their digital state. We are currently uploaded to the internet, which allows us to communicate with you from here."

Understanding dawned on Adam’s face, and a small smile broke through his otherwise serious deanor. "That’s actually quite fascinating," he admitted, his tone laced with genuine intrigue. "But since I haven’t had the chance to assign you your roles yet, let clarify what I need from you both."

Pratham and Mikasa listened intently, their glowing forms leaning slightly forward as Adam continued. "For now, your task is simple: monitor the surroundings and keep an eye on anything that could pose a threat. If there are any significant changes, especially related to power-holders or critical news, inform imdiately."

Both avatars nodded in unison, their expressions firm with determination. "Understood, Lord Adam," Mikasa replied, her voice calm yet resolute.

With that, their holographic forms faded from the phone screen, leaving Adam staring at the now-dim display. A sense of satisfaction settled over him, knowing that even without their physical presence, Pratham and Mikasa were ready to serve.

---

The room fell silent once more, the tension from earlier dissipating as everyone processed the events that had unfolded. Adam’s gaze shifted back to Ani, who was still tending to Sona. Yami, now calr, resud her seat, though her eyes remained fixed on Adam, clearly brimming with questions she chose not to voice yet.

Adam tucked his phone back into his pocket, his expression pensive. Despite the chaos of the recent past, a small glimr of hope ignited in his chest. They had taken another step forward, and with allies like Pratham and Mikasa, he felt more confident in the path that lay ahead.

Adam stood motionless for a mont, his phone still glowing faintly in his hand before he slid it into his pocket.

Pratham and Mikasa’s words lingered in his mind, their clarity both reassuring and disorienting.

He drew a calming breath, his gaze shifting to Ani, who was seated by the bedside, tending to Sona with quiet dedication.

Ani’s hands worked with delicate care, adjusting the blanket over Sona’s small, unconscious form.

Her face bore a mix of guilt and protectiveness, an expression that didn’t go unnoticed by Adam. Breaking the silence, Adam approached her, his tone teasing yet tinged with curiosity.

"You’re awfully worried about her, aren’t you?" he said, raising an eyebrow.

Adam is very impressed by Ani’s care.

Ani glanced up at him, a faint smile tugging at her lips. Her fingers paused mid-motion as she responded, "It’s not that. I just feel like her injuries are my fault. That’s why I’m looking after her."

Adam studied her face, noting the sincerity in her voice. He didn’t press further, recognizing the weight she carried in her words.

---

anwhile, Yami, who had been watching from the shadows of the room, finally stepped forward.

Her movents were hurried, almost frantic, as her eyes darted toward the bed where Sona lay unconscious. A wave of fear and confusion gripped her as she exclaid, "What happened to her? And how did you all return so quickly?"

Adam turned to face Yami, her sudden outburst catching him slightly off guard. His sharp mind raced to piece together a response, but her words made him pause. Quickly? he thought. How long were we gone?

"Wait," he said, narrowing his eyes. "How much ti has passed since we left?"

Yami blinked, her fear montarily giving way to confusion. "It’s only been a few minutes," she said, her voice steadying as she tried to comprehend their swift return. "You were barely gone at all."

Adam’s expression shifted, surprise flickering across his face. His mind reeled at the implications. The ti flow in the dinsional plane must have been drastically different from that of their world. He mulled over the revelation for a mont, his thoughts turning to the confrontation they had just endured.

---

Breaking his reverie, Yami pressed him again, her voice trembling slightly. "What exactly happened over there?"

Adam turned to her, his composure returning. "There was... a confrontation," he admitted. His tone was careful, not wanting to alarm her further. "But it’s over now. Everything’s fine."

Yami’s eyes widened in disbelief, her gaze darting between Adam and Ani. Concern etched deeper into her features as she addressed her younger sister. "Ani, are you okay?"

Ani nodded firmly, her usual resilience shining through. "I’m fine," she assured. "Sona protected ."

Yami’s focus shifted to Sona, who lay motionless on the bed. Her small fra seed even more fragile under the soft light of the room, her blue hair cascading across the pillow.

Adam stepped closer, his calm voice breaking through Yami’s worry. "Don’t worry," he said, his tone firm yet reassuring. "She’s just exhausted herself. Nothing too serious."

Yami’s gaze softened slightly, but her worry remained evident. "Are you sure? She looks so... fragile," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Adam nodded. "I’ve already used my skills to help her recover. She just needs rest now."

---

At that mont, Tayo, the Sun Spirit, fluttered free from Yami’s hands. The small, radiant creature’s wings shimred with a blue glow as it gracefully flew toward the bed where Sona lay. Hovering over her, Tayo’s golden hair glead in the light, its movents gentle and deliberate.

Tayo settled by Sona’s side, its tiny hands reaching out to touch her lightly. The soft, warm energy emanating from the Sun Spirit seed to envelop Sona, its presence calming and protective. Adam watched the interaction, a small sense of relief washing over him.

"See?" Adam said, glancing back at Yami. "There’s no need to worry. She’ll be fine."

Yami exhaled slowly, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly. Her eyes lingered on Sona, who remained peacefully asleep, her green dress a stark contrast against the bed’s white sheets.

As the room fell into a calm silence, Adam’s thoughts shifted to the events that lay ahead. Despite the respite they had earned, he knew this was just the beginning of the challenges they would face. For now, though, he allowed himself a rare mont of peace, his gaze steady as he took in the quiet scene before him.

And with that, the Chapter concluded, leaving the room shrouded in a serene stillness as they prepared for whatever was to co.
