"Marshal, the custom battle suit you requested is ready. Please have a look," the researcher said, clad in a tightly sealed isolation suit under a canopy in the southern part of the Central United District where, following the last battle, the Peace Party had moved their headquarters from the Peace Party Building.

This B-grade exoskeleton battle suit was an innovation inspired by the Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suits studied from the Dongsheng Co-managent. Moreover, due to the rcenary Guild’s attack, the Peace Party leadership unanimously decided to na it "Victor."

The main materials for exoskeleton battle suits in the post-apocalyptic world were anti-life substances that refined harder elents through slting to produce harder H-steel used for armor. However, slting required high temperatures which could release gases harmful to humans and potentially turn ordinary people into zombies. Even Level 6 New Humans might eventually succumb to the toxicity of these gases, hence workers wore these isolation suits during the slting process to protect themselves from the toxic gases released by the burning anti-life material.

Tang Ye did not imdiately take it but instead removed the isolation mask wrapped around his head. Indeed, the workshop was harmful to humans, but for zombies, the inside and outside were practically the sa, and he had nothing to fear. Wearing the isolation suit was not only ineffective but also incredibly stifling.

After removing his mask, Tang Ye was about to take off his isolation suit, but he was quickly stopped by the researcher.

"Marshal, please don’t do that. The chemical gases dispersing here, once absorbed by the human body, can cause irreversible damage," the researcher urged.

"It’s fine. Wearing this suit is annoying enough. How can I try it on without taking it off? How can I know if it fits?" Tang Ye said dismissively, waving his hand as he shed the isolation suit and reached for the exoskeleton battle suit custom-made for him.

"Marshal, you can wear it over the isolation suit; it has an intelligent overlay system..."

The researcher appeared sowhat helpless, but before he could finish speaking, Tang Ye had already pressed the compacting pack and then touched the release button at his waist.

Click~

With a slight clicking sound, the exoskeleton battle suit’s compacting pack began to unfold. Soon, a silver-white sci-fi battle armor began to appear behind Tang Ye, spreading towards his shoulders. Within two to three seconds, his entire body was enveloped in the Victor Exoskeleton Battle Suit.

The battle suit was primarily silver-white with gold ornate patterns across the arms, legs, waist, and abdon. At the chest, a particularly striking golden emblem displayed the symbol representing the highest ruler of the United District.

"It fits." Tang Ye nodded in satisfaction, then turned his gaze towards Bai Huipeng, who was also wearing an isolation suit. If not for being familiar with Bai Huipeng’s height, he might not have recognized him. Ever since Bai Huipeng evolved to a Level 6 Powerhouse, he beca Tang Ye’s only non-zombie Level 6 capable subordinate.

To others, the Peace Party seed to have three Level 6 New Humans, which looked impressively strong. However, only Tang Ye knew that strictly speaking, none of them were human! They were all posing in the facade: two zombies and an individual who was neither human nor zombie.

Now, the first truly human under him who was also highly loyal had beco a Level 6 Powerhouse. The list of major generals Tang Ye could rely on had indeed broadened. Although Tang Ye did not know what Bai Huipeng truly thought—humans are fickle and he might betray him at any mont—at least for now, he would not. Bai Huipeng’s evolution to Level 6 brought Tang Ye one step closer to establishing a peaceful world for both humans and zombies.

As the big boss, Tang Ye reflected that not having a sufficient number of elite minions was simply unacceptable. It was like the situation with the previous rcenary Guild during large raids, where people would inadvertently stumble upon his lair. As a big boss, there were many things he couldn’t handle personally; he needed to delegate!

"Huipeng, co, hit here, and don’t hold back. I want to see if the victor can withstand a full-force blow from a Level 6 New Human," Tang Ye said as he patted his chest, indicating where Bai Huipeng should strike.

"Yes!"

Bai Huipeng nodded and didn’t ntion anything about the possibility of hurting Tang Ye. He now had a certain understanding of the power of a Level 7 powerhouse, realizing that the chance for a Level 6 New Human to challenge a Level 7 New Human was virtually zero! This was evident from the previous events when Lv Jinyu and Jin Ye had challenged Tang Ye and both perished, while Tang Ye seed hardly to have exerted any effort.

Soon, Tang Ye stood in position, and opposite him, Bai Huipeng found his footing. In a mont, he summoned his energy, a surge characteristic of a Level 6 New Human seeping out. Bai Huipeng adjusted his angle, his eyes fixed on the spot Tang Ye had pointed out. Then, with quick footwork, he charged, creating a blur of afterimages in the re ten ters between them.

He swung his fist, using all his strength to target Tang Ye’s chest. Even before contact, the force generated a tempest that caused the equipnt under the awning to creak and groan.

Bang!

A dull sound echoed as the force from Bai Huipeng’s body was fully unleashed onto Tang Ye’s exoskeleton battle suit. At the mont of impact, a shallow fist imprint dent appeared at the chest of his Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suit.

To others, his power might seem unstoppable, but Tang Ye’s body remained as if anchored into the ground, unmovable even as the ground beneath his feet cracked extensively.

"How is it?" Tang Ye asked.

Bai Huipeng looked and then nodded, saying, "Good, much stronger than the Hunter Battle Suit defense."

He had also tested his evolved Level 6 New Human strength on a rcenary Guild Warrior’s exoskeleton battle suit before, which resulted in a dent three tis deeper on the Hunter Battle Suit.

Upon hearing Bai Huipeng’s words, the researchers nearby proudly said, "Marshal, we put a lot of effort into creating this battle suit. Its defensive capabilities are certainly not to be underestimated."

Tang Ye nodded but quickly shook his head.

"Indeed, it’s not bad, but it’s of no use to ," he said, causing the previously proud researchers to flush red with embarrassnt, as if Tang Ye had fiercely slapped their faces!

However, Tang Ye wasn’t wrong in his assessnt; as a Level 7 zombie, his evolution might have made his Level 7 zombie strength significantly stronger than that of a Level 7 New Human.
