After the battle, the rcenaries Guild assembled a large number of powerful individuals to attack the Peace Party, and the news of their great defeat as well as the information that the Marshal of the United District was a Level 7 New Human quickly caused a huge stir in the United District. This also led to various underground forces becoming silent, with no activity seen for a long ti. Many mbers of these underground forces, both big and small, were involved in the rcenaries Guild’s attack, but thereafter, they were nowhere to be seen.

No one knew what beca of them – they presumably all perished. The truth was that they had been silenced by the rcenaries Guild before they could defeat the Peace Party, but currently, the residents of the United District believed that they had all been slaughtered by the Peace Party. This included the elimination of more than two hundred Level 4 New Humans and above, among them two Level 6 New Humans, with none surviving.

That day, residents living on the outskirts of the Central United District saw the black smoke rising from the corpse incinerators within, nearly obscuring the entire sky of the United District.

The disappearance of the more than two hundred mighty ones also refreshed the local powerhouses’ view of the cruelty of Li Henian.

Said powerhouses, who represented almost the entire strength of the United District, were rcilessly exterminated by Li Henian without a second thought.

The underground forces trembled because they too were involved. The monuntal defeat of the rcenaries Guild also hinted at its imminent dissolution, yet their president had not co forward to say anything, as if unaware of the incident, and these underground forces also began to shrink their territories in the following days, fearing that the Peace Party might target them.

After the collapse of the Snow Moon Pavilion, the Peace Party established a new entertainnt venue called New Snow Moon. In the rubble of the old Snow Moon Pavilion, search and rescue teams set up by the Peace Party dug for two days and three nights to rescue the severely injured General Hatred.

Strangely, thereafter, the Peace Party made no further moves and returned to normal, without seeking accountability from the underground forces. It seed as if the event ant nothing to Li Henian, and the United District returned to its forr state of tranquility.

As ti passed, the underground forces in a constant state of tension finally began to relax slightly, lucky enough to think that perhaps the Peace Party had not closely checked every fighter in the rcenaries Guild’s task force and thus did not know who from the underground forces were involved.

One week later, the rcenaries Guild formally announced its dissolution, but soon there were rumors that the senior managent and president of the Guild were preparing to flee. However, at the sa ti, the Peace Party issued a "No-Fly Order."

The order prohibited any helicopters and flying attacks from taking off and leaving the United District. Anyone wishing to leave the United District had to verify their identity and origin first; this act effectively sealed off the city, also indicating that the Peace Party was not ready to let go of their issues with the rcenaries Guild just yet—they still needed so ti to recuperate.

Subsequently, there ca continuous good news from the battlefield between the United District and Jiuge, with Vice-President Tang Fu’s army having expelled all Jiuge soldiers from the 709 Mine, and Akam and his Level 6 New Human cousin fled in disarray. It was said that Tang Fu was even preparing to directly attack the Jiuge region.

Nevertheless, all this went unnoticed. Among the underground forces of the United District, they only cared about whether the Peace Party would make any unusual moves.

But as more ti passed, still no actions were taken by the Peace Party, even after they had fully regained their power, no pursuit of the rcenary Guild’s matter occurred.

In the anti, Bai Huipeng from the Peace Party successfully evolved into a Level 6 New Human, and the Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suits previously confiscated by the Peace Party were studied and produced into a new generation of B-class exoskeleton battle suits, their defense not inferior to the exoskeleton battle suits. All mbers of the Peace Party updated their suits in the shortest ti possible.

These successive news further solidified the Peace Party’s position within the United District, but despite this, there still was no unusual activity from them, just the establishnt of a new rcenaries Guild. However, this rcenaries Guild was no longer the public organization people were familiar with; it beca a private entity. Due to Li Henian’s dictatorial rule, there was no voice of opposition within the United District.

The last day of the fourth year after the Apocalypse passed unnoticed, and the Apocalypse officially entered its fifth year. The Peace Party even extravagantly organized a New Year’s Eve celebration, and the streets slowly filled with the joyful red colors.

This act finally put the hearts of those underground forces at ease. It was the first ti a pre-Apocalypse festival was celebrated in the United District during the Apocalypse, allowing the residents of the United District to experience an atmosphere they had never felt before the Apocalypse.

However, the day after New Year’s Eve, the calm before the storm was completely shattered. A massive number of Peace Party soldiers suddenly appeared in the Central United District, led by General Shang, heading towards the various strongholds of the major underground forces. Soon, the Peace Party also issued a compulsory mandate, demanding all underground forces in the United District to disband and all evolved Level 4 New Humans and above to join the Peace Party and legitimately obtain mbership.

Lower-than-Level 4 New Humans could choose to join the Peace Party, or they could opt not to and instead register as Bounty Hunters at the newly founded rcenaries Guild.

The outco for those who disagreed was simple—death!

The ruler of the United District once again imposed his ruthlessness on his residents. There was no opportunity for debate over the compulsory mandate, and those who were not mbers of the Peace Party, yet strong enough to rit attention, had only one choice—to join the Peace Party and beco one of its mbers. There was no other option, or rather, there was a second option, to swiftly choose death over compliance, but no one would entertain such thoughts.

So, with inherent pride, managed to carve out a third option under the forceful demands of the Peace Party—departure. But as expected, only a month and a half later, either those underground forces had disbanded, or those who had not disbanded or had not communicated promptly were slaughtered by Hatred and his n, without any rcy.

The fate of those people was sealed with death! This action also indicated that the Peace Party hadn’t ignored the previous attack orchestrated by the rcenaries Guild, they were just waiting, waiting until they were powerful enough to strike back!

Considering the circumstances, where practically every powerful individual in the underground forces of the United District had been rallied by the rcenaries Guild to attack the Peace Party, and with the leading force being as ruthless as Li Henian, it was implausible that they would leave matters unresolved, ever ready to launch a massacre at any mont.
