Large numbers of prisoners of war were herded into prison wagons and sent to the POW Camp, and the soldiers of the Yesteryear Association breathed a sigh of relief upon learning that they would not lose their lives for resisting the Peace Party.
The next day, after a few large resistance forces were annihilated by the Peace Party with thunderous thods, other resistance forces also began to feel uneasy. One by one, they handed over the power they held to the Peace Party and thus spared themselves from death.
"All these nas are recorded, take this with you. I’ll send those people away now."
"Go ahead, there’s still a lot of work to do."
The soldier took one last drag of his cigarette, flicked the butt onto the ground, and stamped it out with his foot before entering the driver’s cabin of the prison wagon. Escorted by dozens of Peace Party soldiers, the wagon slowly set off, leaving the Yulin War Zone.
Passing through streets ravaged by war and punctured with holes, the prison wagon carrying three hundred prisoners of war finally entered the still stable areas within the United District. Residents on both sides of the street poked their heads out to look, their eyes brimming with undisguised curiosity.
Motivated by all the attention, the escorting soldiers carried themselves with pride. With several major resistance forces crushed, the Peace Party truly reigned supre now, and the welfare of its mbers would correspondingly increase.
At the sa ti, there were envious glances from outsiders.
However, they were unaware that in so narrow alleys, several pairs of eyes were watching them.
"There they are, one Level 2 New Human and eight Level 1 New Humans. Ready to do this?"
"It’s a bit few, but it’s still worth it for us to make a move. There are many people now, so let’s do it while we can!"
"Ah, are we really going to do this? We’re all Level 4 New Humans, fighting a few lower-level New Humans seems beneath us, doesn’t it?"
"Ma De, quit your yapping. Even a mosquito is still at. We’ve been waiting here for so long without seeing any big fish. If we let this opportunity slip by, there might not be a next ti. How many Level 4 New Humans does the Peace Party have? How many can we kill? Those people usually stay in the Central District, where being caught by a Level 5 New Human inside would an not getting away easily."
"Fine, then let’s do it. Altogether, that’s eight hundred Yajin, not a bad deal!"
As they chatted, their gazes followed the movent of the prison wagon. When it reached the area with the densest crowd, several powerful individuals decisively struck!
A murderous aura filled the air, and among the survivors on the street, so were New Humans who sensed sothing amiss and imdiately began to panic.
"What the hell!"
Soone yelled out loud, and the Peace Party soldiers also realized what was happening. They stopped in their tracks and looked around with confused eyes.
"Isn’t it against the rules to kill people in the United District?"
Since the day the Peace Party had taken over the United District, the city managent had repeatedly emphasized that no killings were allowed within the district, and any vendettas had to be settled outside its jurisdiction. This flagrant murderous intent imdiately put these soldiers on alert!
The killing intent was intense, coming from sowhere unknown. The civil New Humans felt it firsthand and began to panic. Their panic, in turn, unsettled the ordinary people, causing countless individuals to run about chaotically.
"Everyone, don’t panic, stay calm. We are from the Peace Party. There are clear rules against malicious killing in the residential area. No matter who they are, they wouldn’t dare to cause trouble."
A soldier shouted, trying to suppress the chaos, but the next second, a discordant voice rang out.
"Peace Party bastards, you’re struggling for your own lives and still trying to control others. Go to hell!"
"Don’t kill indiscriminately! Throw the bodies next to you—I’ll throw to the right!"
"I’ll throw to the left!"
"I’ll throw to the back."
"I’m throwing directly onto the wagon!"
Blood surged toward the heavens, and as they heard the sounds, several Peace Party soldiers instantly turned in the direction of the noise, raising their weapons to aim that way.
"Hostile cors, this aura of blood, they must be at least Level 4 New Humans!" A Level 1 New Human soldier frowned and said, his tone suggesting that they intended to attack his own people, which ant trouble!
"What!" The others changed color, also becoming tense.
"Quickly contact the nearby patrol squad, things aren’t looking good here! Hurry up and have them co over for backup!" the only Level 2 New Human in the squad of soldiers yelled at the soldier in the driver’s seat.
The driver fumbled in a panic, hastily pulling out the communicator.
"Over there!"
"Who goes there! We’re from the Peace Party, are you looking for death?!"
Soone bellowed out the Peace Party’s na, but the opposition did not seem fazed by it.
No sooner had the voices faded when several soldiers were blinded by a sudden rush of figures from the shadowy alley. Then with a few muffled "bangs," blood sprayed into the sky, and the bodies of several Peace Party soldiers crashed heavily against the prison van, nearly overturning it with the imnse force.
"It’s you Peace Party we are killing!"
The bodies of the dead soldiers were picked up and tossed aside.
Whiz, whiz, whiz!
As a few n fell, the Peace Party soldiers began their attack, with dazzlingly colored lasers flying everywhere, but the enemy moved too fast, and the soldiers’ eyes couldn’t keep up, resulting in every shot missing the mark.
Then, blood was flung around like ink as soone drove a knife straight through the skull of the Level 2 New Human at the scene, and he slumped down, signaling the start of a one-sided slaughter.
Everything happened so fast that by the ti the soldier in the driver’s seat had just opened the communicator, all the escorting soldiers outside were already dead.
Drip—drip...
"Hello!"
"We’re transporting POWs, we’re under attack on 51c Street of Lunku Industrial District, the situation is dire, please co support us imdiately!"
"51c Street, got it, we’ll be right there!"
The Peace Party patrol team on the other end imdiately grasped the severity of the situation and agreed to co quickly, preparing to hang up the phone when suddenly a piercing noise ca from the other side.
The soldier who had just finished speaking in the driver’s seat suddenly had the van door violently torn open, and a hand reached in, clenching his neck!
Aggh!
A scream followed by the sound of flesh being torn rang out, eliciting goosebumps.
In just a few seconds, all the soldiers escorting the prison vehicle were killed, their bodies each thrown into areas decided by the killers. The strong individuals took out their phones and began snapping pictures of the codes on their military uniforms, smiling contentedly to themselves, and even joking among each other.
As they were about to leave, a disturbance suddenly erupted at the front end of the street.
"Make way, make way! Move aside for !"
These four Level 4 New Humans looked up to see a large group of Peace Party soldiers rushing their way.
"Pretty quick, aren’t they? Good, let’s take them all down!"
