Whether it’s an Evolution Crystal or Evolution Crystal Core, the power it stores is the energy that allows the creature possessing it to function. In this world, there are various forms of power, such as the work produced when a person jumps rope with their arms and legs, the electricity and chanical force that operate machines, these are all manifestations of power.
All sorts of machines manufactured by humans require various forms of power to operate, so naturally human beings also need power to operate. Machine equipnt needs electricity, gasoline, diesel, or manual power to drive, these are all energy sources that keep the machine running.
So, humans themselves must also require energy to operate. What kind of energy is this? Of course, it’s calories! How do you get them? It’s by consuming food through our mouths.
Once food is ingested, it is converted into calories within the body and then used by humans to do any kind of work. From this, we can see that calories is food, and food is calories.
Calories allow living beings to move freely.
So the question is, can calories power machines? Obviously, the answer is no. Anti-life matter, from a certain perspective, can be considered as the zombies’ version of calories. With each movent, zombies consu a certain amount of calories.
At the sa ti, turning anti-life matter into an energy source requires various procedures. The energy is extracted from within the Evolution Crystals which contain anti-life matter. However, like electricity, this energy is an abstract physical concept. Just like human food, it needs to be eaten to be turned into calories. There’s no way to use food directly as calories.
In the sa way, it’s impossible to use an Evolution Crystal directly as an energy storage bank to power a machine.
So, Tang Ye did not believe that the weapon Li Songhua bought was the Evolution Crystal that Ah Fu gestured to be as big as a car wheel.
"What a bullshit weapon, seriously, this is nonsense!"

The sky was blanketed by a snow-white expanse, making this bleak world look even grayer. The falling snowflakes lted instantly once they landed on the orange defensive shield. Paired with the scene on the ground, the streets looked particularly desolate.
In the D District, which has been completely occupied by the Peace Party, there were a lot more soldiers wearing Peace Party uniforms. So of them had faces full of fervour towards a certain belief, while others were brimming with excitent.
The fervent soldiers were those bound by the glory of the organization, while those who looked excited had just joined the Peace Party. They were thrilled beyond words about the life they had just gained.
There were also a large group of people clamoring to apply to join the Peace Party, desperately crowding the recruitnt office. At the sa ti, the registration soldiers outside the Anti-Zombie Wall Gate looked at a man and woman, who barely had any signs of life, with suspicion in front of them.
The two parties had a chat, and soon the man and woman fell silent. Suddenly, a Level 4 zombie rat popped out from the developnt area behind them and started ssing with the soldiers. The strange man and woman seized the opportunity to sneak into the Qinshan Base.
From the sky, a helicopter infiltrated the Qinshan Base, stopping in front of the orange shield. Four very powerful New Humans descended from it. The minute they got out, they yelled towards the direction of the building: "Li Songhua! Co out!"
