"Hey, Little Mister, can you understand what I’m saying?" Ning Yu’er suddenly asked, but noticed that Tang Ye was just sitting on the floor, staring blankly at the white wall in front of him.

"Ah, Little Mister... What’s wrong?" Ning Yu’er waved her delicate hand in front of his white eyes. Tang Ye seed to snap out of his daze and glanced at her with an inexplicable expression, but he didn’t say a word.

Ning Yu’er was a bit frustrated. She didn’t know how many days she had been living with Tang Ye -- was it one day? Or two? She had happened to notice a watch on Tang Ye’s left wrist but didn’t dare to grab his hand to check the ti.

Sotis Tang Ye would respond to her with a nod or a strange ’hehe’ sound, but most of the ti he seed not to hear her. Moreover, every ti they got too close, he would go for a run outside. That was what made her feel the most uncomfortable.

"Er... Little Mister, could you... take off your clothes... I kind of... want to..." Ning Yu’er shyly stamred, especially when she saw the puzzled look on Tang Ye’s face, her face flushed even redder, like a cooked shrimp.

"Sigh~ okay, Little Mister, can you understand what I’m saying?"

Surprised at Ning Yu’er’s suggestion, Tang Ye wasn’t sure what she was trying to say, but he reluctantly nodded. Her face lit up, and she continued, "Why don’t you take off your clothes, and I... I... I’ll wash them for you, they are dirty."

Tang Ye nodded again, but remained motionless. Ning Yu’er was left wondering if he really understood, or if he was only nodding subconsciously.

Tang Ye’s clothes had been worn for many days. Each ti he slaughtered a zombie, more and more blood stains would end up on his clothes, now emitting a strong, pungent sll of gore.

From the mont Ning Yu’er t Tang Ye, she could sense the unpleasant odor wafting from him, but she was too embarrassed to address it. But now, being a clean-freak, she couldn’t bear it any longer.

Trembling slightly, she reached out to unbutton his vest. Seeing no resistance from Tang Ye, her courage grew, and Tang Ye cooperatively lifted his arms to help her.

After removing his vest, Ning Yu’er’s gaze landed on his undershirt, her face flushing once more. She hesitated whether to remove it, too, but she mustered up the courage and reached out, though with every movent, her face beca a shade redder.

As for the pants... I’d better not touch it!

Placing his vest and black shirt on her forearm, Ning Yu’er instinctively looked at Tang Ye’s muscular torso. His pale skin was threaded with black-purple veins, creating a stark contrast that was rather eye-catching.

Sohow embarrassed, Ning Yu’er quickly walked out of the room, leaving Tang Ye behind, his upper body clad only in a tank top.

As Ning Yu’er left the room, Tang Ye looked toward the door with a curious expression. Couldn’t he understand Ning Yu’er’s intentions? It was just... it was his first ti having a girl offer to wash his clothes, which felt... rather odd.

Feeling a surge of restlessness in his brain, Tang Ye realized he needed to feed again. Each ti he slled her scent, he had to go out and seek trouble with a few zombies. Of course, he could manage without feeding, but with only half his internal energy remaining, he needed to hunt down a few zombies to refuel.

Standing up, Tang Ye made his way out of the dormitory toward the school entrance.

"Little Mister, you’re going out again," Ning Yu’er said, her voice dropping into a gloomy tone. "Co back early, I... I..." She hesitated, unable to finish her sentence.

Tang Ye continued to the door, opened it, and walked out, seemingly oblivious to Ning Yu’er’s words.

Ning Yu’er sighed helplessly. He always acted this way, yet he provided her an indescribable sense of security. She turned the water faucet, releasing so murky tap water. Seeing Tang Ye leave, she automatically scanned the surroundings and absentmindedly began to rub Tang Ye’s removed outfit.

Tang Ye left the dorm and, after dispatching a few zombies on the school ground, made his way toward a clothing store. Wearing only a white tank top, his bare muscles made Tang Ye himself feel a bit uncomfortable; he was planning to find a few new sets of clothing to wear.

Tang Ye plunged ahead, removing a chunk of a zombie’s brain and dragging its corpse out of the school before heading to a clothing store in the distance.

After about ten minutes, he arrived at a clothing store. Just as he was about to enter, a short figure flashed in the corner of his eye. Tang Ye whirled toward it, his eyes flashing with bloodlust upon recognizing its true identity. The flas of hatred within him ignited!

He rembered Lanlan and his mother’s tragic deaths and the grueso scenes of their mutilated bodies that were etched into his mind.

Tang Ye was uncertain as to when he might encounter the Speed Type Zombie again, but he didn’t expect it to happen so soon. He removed the crowbar hooked to his pants, his lips curling back to reveal his ghastly and sinister teeth.

The small dwarf zombie sohow sensed Tang Ye’s murderous intent and imdiately turned and fled, picking up speed as it scampered away from Tang Ye.

Seeing this, Tang Ye bolted after it.

Roar!

As Tang Ye roared in anger, the dwarf zombie sped up even more. It had still not reached its top speed, but it was already half way there.

Tang Ye knew he couldn’t outpace it, but he didn’t want to let it escape so easily. He ran down the street and noticed an SUV parked by the curb, its door ajar and the outer appearance pristine.

Not knowing if he could drive, Tang Ye entered the vehicle, spotted the keys in the ignition, and stomped on the accelerator to chase after the dwarf zombie.

Vroom!

The car humd and zig-zagged forward. Spotting the car veering to the right, Tang Ye turned the steering wheel to the left, aiming the car straight ahead, chasing after the increasingly speedy dwarf zombie!

Along the way, countless zombies mistook the car’s human driver for another zombie and chased after them, with so even climbing onto the car and striking its window with their putrid, rotting palms!

"No good, it’s turning!" Tang Ye scread in his mind...
