Bang!

A strong, sturdy leg suddenly appeared, kicking a zombie rushing towards Ning Yu’er three ters away. Ning Yu’er then saw Tang Ye’s muscular physique. She was forcefully pushed by Tang Ye into the dormitory, after which Tang Ye turned to roar at the zombie horde.

Roar!

Perhaps frightened by Tang Ye’s imposing stature, the zombies hearing the roar were all stunned for a mont. By the ti they snapped out of it and continued to charge at Ning Yu’er, Tang Ye had closed the door with a strong push of his two arms.

"Little Mister, you... you finally ca, I missed you so much... sob..."

Just as Tang Ye locked the door, Ning Yu’er threw herself into his arms, hugging his waist tightly. Tang Ye stiffened. He looked at Ning Yu’er curiously, unable to understand her behavior. After all, they had only t and known each other briefly.

He wanted to push her away, but seeing her teary eyes, a sense of pity rose in Tang Ye. It felt really strange to be hugged by a girl for the first ti; it was a feeling he could not quite describe.

A sudden desire to protect her and keep her safe welled up in his heart.

Ning Yu’er, having been frightened, clung to Tang Ye and sobbed for a long ti before slowly calming down. The sll of blood on him made her frown. But shortly after, her eyes landed on a large bag of food in his hand.

"Is this... what Little Mister brought back?" she asked Tang Ye softly. A faint blush rose on her cheeks at the increased sense of security Tang Ye provided her.

Tang Ye gave a slight nod, confirming her question. He wasn’t quite sure why he had returned, but seeing such a pleasant person always lifted his mood.

Tang Ye awkwardly pushed Ning Yu’er away and ushered her into a dorm room. He tossed the bag full of food onto the floor. Ignoring her anxious calls for him, he walked towards the door of the dormitory.

He had to eliminate the zombies outside the building!

The mont he opened the door, the zombies outside rushed in. Upon seeing Tang Ye, they started wandering aimlessly one after another while Tang Ye brandished his weapon.

Roar!

With a flash of blood on his crowbar, zombie heads exploded one after another. After ten minutes, Tang Ye dragged all the corpses outside. During this ti, he bit into several zombies, then returned to the dormitory covered in blood.

In the dorm room where he had left Ning Yu’er, she was anxiously peering outside, fearing that he would suddenly disappear and never return.

Tang Ye saw her and looked away. He wasn’t sure what he was thinking. After he closed the door, Ning Yu’er started to stride towards him, her delicate long legs carrying her fast.

The emotion in her eyes was difficult for Tang Ye to comprehend. There was reliance, worry, and sothing indescribable... was it... affection?

Avoiding her gaze, he found himself entrapped by so mysterious shackles, losing his freedom. This was a sensation he had never experienced before. Seeing such complex emotions in another’s eyes was new, not even Chu Yunxuan had shown him such emotions.

In a daze, Tang Ye stood still, watching Ning Yu’er approach him. He involuntarily extended his arms. Seeing his gesture, Ning Yu’er was taken aback.

"Um... does, does Little Mister want a hug?"

At her words, Tang Ye blushed, even though his face still looked pale, but he felt extrely awkward.

A faint aroma filled his chest, stirring his possessiveness and hunger. Even though Ning Yu’er didn’t notice anything unusual, a shy smile appeared on her face while she embraced him.

Tang Ye, feeling out of sorts, pushed her away and hastily walked towards the entrance. Ning Yu’er looked at him, puzzled. Why had he suddenly pushed her away?

"Where are you going, Little Mister?"

Tang Ye didn’t look back and kept on walking.

"You... co back soon, okay?"

Ning Yu’er looked dejected, but she didn’t notice Tang Ye’s slightly nodding his head in acknowledgent.

After opening the door, Tang Ye closed it behind him. The zombies had already been cleared out by him, only scattered bodies lay on the ground. There were also three piles of mush, which were the bodies of three students who had tried to escape earlier. They had been devoured by zombies, not even leaving enough of them to turn into zombies.

Honglin High School Campus was large. Fortunately, Tang Ye knew there were many zombies at the sports field. Trying to suppress the growing urge to eat Ning Yu’er, he headed there and any zombies that bumped into him along the way beca his al.

Three hours later, Tang Ye, after leaving a trail of zombie bodies behind and filling his body with energy, decided to return to the female dormitory building.

For so unknown reason, even though his energy levels had already reached the threshold, in his opinion, the evolution he sought still hadn’t happened. Perhaps what he needed was so sort of catalyst...
