"What?"
Everything that had just happened had happened in the blink of an eye, and aside from Tang Ye, this resident zombie, no one had seen exactly what it was.
"How did Brother Shui run so fast, I don’t rember him being that big."
"He was riding sothing." Tang Ye answered their questions nonchalantly.
"Boss, what was it?"
"A rat."
Everyone looked puzzled when they heard it was a rat, even Tang Ye didn’t know why this guy was riding a rat, he might have found another unique zombie.
Xu Haishui had a hobby, he liked to collect all sorts of strange, evolved zombies and keep them in the zombie pit, sothing Tang Ye had grown accustod to.
So him riding a zombie rat didn’t seem strange at all.
Seeing Xu Haishui carried away by the zombie rat, everyone else started to busy themselves. Under Bai Huipeng’s subpar guidance, they treated the war tanks like tractors and managed to get them moving in a rather clumsy manner.
Bai Huipeng was alright, at least he could drive the tank out the main gate, but the others’ operation skills were simply unbearable, they all directly smashed through the wall to get out.
Ironically, these people, oblivious to their actions, even laughed at others for breaking the wall to get out.
At that mont, a subordinate ran up to Tang Ye and said, "Boss, we can take the tanks with us, but what about the armored cars on the other side, there are dozens of them and we can’t open the gates."
Before Tang Ye could answer, another person ran over, panting heavily, he said, "Boss, Brother Jun sent over to tell you, we found it."
"Found what?" Tang Ye was confused.
"The...the...the armory, we found it, there are so many things in there!"
"Oh?" Tang Ye gave a slight hum of surprise. He turned to the first man and said, "Wait here."
The man didn’t dare say anything and could only nod, "Yes."
Tang Ye followed the other man towards Zhou Ranjun’s position. It didn’t take long before they entered a large warehouse. As soon as they entered, Tang Ye saw a few people arguing vehently over a sniper rifle.
"It’s mine!"
"I saw it first!"
"You don’t even know how to use it, what are you going to do with it, wasting good things!"
"As if you know how to use it."
"Give it to !"
"..."
When Zhou Ranjun saw Tang Ye co in, he quickly shouted at the arguing n, "Everyone quiet down, the boss is here, make a noise and you’ll see!"
Instantly, everyone beca still, showing respect to Tang Ye by bowing slightly before stepping aside.
Looking at the piles of guns and ammunition everywhere, Tang Ye felt a stir in his heart. He picked up the coveted sniper rifle, took a few glances, and then put it aside, muttering to himself, "There’s so much, should be enough for a long ti."
Suddenly, one man erged from a pile of crates, it was Zhou Ranjun. His face full of excitent, he hurriedly ran up to Tang Ye to check.
Tang Ye didn’t waste ti chatting. He looked around at the large pile of ammunition and guns. He didn’t know exactly how many there were, but he was too lazy to count, so he decided to wait for soone with accounting ability to handle it.
"Get soone to bring the truck over and move all this stuff for ."
"Yes!"
Zhou Ranjun imdiately gathered manpower, and in no ti, two trucks drove up to the warehouse entrance. More than a dozen people began loading all the weapons onto the trucks, taking a mont to admire each cool weapon they got their hands on before reluctanly placing it on the truck, hoping to get their hands on such items when they returned to the gathering place.
As they began their work, Tang Ye walked towards the area where the armored cars were parked.
Halfway there, as if sensing sothing, he abruptly turned his head to the right, saw a small black spot speeding towards him from the distance.
It was a zombie rat as big as a buffalo. The intermittent aura released by the rat told Tang Ye right away that this was a Level 4 zombie. Riding on its back was the unkempt figure of Xu Haishui.
At this mont, he was clutching the zombie rat’s fur tightly. The claws in his palms had extended and were deeply embedded in the flesh of the zombie rat. Its black blood was spreading ceaselessly.
Tang Ye could clearly see Xu Haishui’s trembling mask, one above the other. He didn’t know what his face looked like under the mask, but it seed as if he was in severe pain.
"Can’t control it?" Tang Ye wondered. Didn’t Xu Haishui brag that he could easily control zombies of equal or slightly higher levels than him?
Tang Ye hadn’t been able to control either himself or Ah Fu, nor had he taken a shot at any other Level 4 zombies. But now, faced with a Level 4 zombie rat, Xu Haishui still couldn’t control it?
Squeak~Bang!
The zombie rat twisted its body wildly, trying to throw off the figure on its back, but Xu Haishui clung to it like a sticky plaster, refusing to be moved by its furious struggle.
Not only that, with every movent of the zombie rat, Xu Haishui’s claws dug deeper into its flesh!
He glanced at Tang Ye in front of him, but before he could say anything, he had already reached Tang Ye.
At that mont when they passed each other, a cold smirk appeared on Tang Ye’s face. Suddenly, like lightning, his hand shot out and grabbed the zombie rat’s long, red tail. With a slight yank, he brought the Level 4 zombie rat to a standstill!
The gap between levels was like a wide chasm, impossible to cross. Level 4 was only one level lower than Level 5, yet it was effortlessly controlled by Level 5 Tang Ye!
"Hey, hey, dead rat, run, run again!"
Seeing the zombie rat unable to struggle out of Tang Ye’s grip, Xu Haishui was ecstatic. He climbed onto its back, bent down to its ears, and said coldly.
"What’s going on, didn’t you say you could control Level 5 zombies? Why can’t you handle this one?" Tang Ye asked Xu Haishui with suspicion.
Xu Haishui, clutching the zombie rat tightly, replied without turning his head, "This one’s different, this dead rat is like ."
"Oh?" Tang Ye was intrigued.
"Also an intelligent zombie?"
"No, what I an is it also evolved in the sa direction as , ntally, and it’s quite powerful, neutralizing my ability and making it a bit difficult."
"Is that so?" Tang Ye snorted coldly, slightly displeased.
"Having reached Level 4, it’s normal to have so intelligence. I estimate it to be around the level of a one or two-year-old child."
Tang Ye didn’t say anything, while Xu Haishui concentrated on subduing the zombie rat, his eyes flickering with a strange light. Tang Ye felt a bit confused by his gaze.
The zombie rat, held in place by Tang Ye, struggled more and more fiercely.
Suddenly grabbed by a powerful enemy, the zombie rat panicked. In its nervousness, its attention shifted to Tang Ye, neglecting Xu Haishui on its back.
Xu Haishui took advantage of this opportunity to increase the strength of his psychic transmission!
