Mr. Ya suddenly received a phone call from a student. The student had seen a suspicious woman in a red dress fleeing toward the artificial lake and had found bloodstains where she had passed.
Su Ze and Mr. Ya set off at once, heading for the campus’s artificial lake. Liou Wenxin was responsible for notifying the other departnts and the teachers at Dongli University, telling them to hurry over as reinforcents.

He imdiately pulled Mr. Ya back, moving quickly away from the lake.
The culprit was parasitizing Huo Yuanzheng, a Butterfly Stage master. Su Ze knew that he and Mr. Ya were no match for their opponent, and they also had to be wary of the parasite inside him.
Mr. Ya, being at the Butterfly Stage, was slightly better off. Unless it was a Saint-rank parasitic beast, it would be difficult to parasitize him instantly. But Su Ze was only at the Cocoon Stage. If he encountered a Tier 3 parasitic beast, it could very well invade his body in an instant.
Their job was to keep an eye on this spot, prevent the culprit from escaping, and wait for reinforcents to arrive.

But before they could reach the shore, a figure in red shot out of the lake, appearing before the young couple like a phantom.
She looked just like the water spirits in red from folklore, who drown and then rise from the depths to find a replacent.

The young couple scread in terror.
The red-clad figure reached for the male student, effortlessly grabbing him.
Then, fissures burst open all over the red-clad figure’s skin as sothing began to erge from within her body.

A flat, fleshy mass tore itself free from the red-clad figure’s body. The mass was yellowish-white and connected to countless tiny, root-like tentacles. The tentacles writhed, pushing the yellowish-white ball of flesh toward the male student.
It was clear now that the perpetrator was indeed a Crab Fiend beast, not a human Evolver.
The Crab Fiend beast was clearly abandoning its injured host to find a new one.
"Not good!" Mr. Ya exclaid, signaling for Su Ze to stay put as he rushed forward to save the student.
Su Ze’s evolution level was low, and moving forward would risk being parasitized, so he stayed where he was and didn’t get any closer.
However, the Crab Fiend beast was incredibly fast. It tore a wound in the boy’s chest, burrowed inside, and began the process of parasitizing him.
Mr. Ya stopped in his tracks. The boy was already being parasitized by the Crab Fiend; there was little he could do even if he rushed in. He could only shout at the petrified girl beside him, "Run!"
With the Crab Fiend already parasitizing the male student, the girl was actually in less danger, as the beast clearly preferred male hosts.
Mr. Ya, on the other hand, was not only male but also of a higher evolution level than the student. If he got closer, there was a high chance he would beco the Crab Fiend’s next target.
But to both Su Ze and Mr. Ya’s surprise, the female student heard Mr. Ya’s loud warning but showed no intention of fleeing. She just stood there foolishly.
’Were her legs so weak from fright that she couldn’t move?’
The next second, a smile suddenly appeared on the girl’s face. It was a bright, sunny smile, but in this situation, Su Ze found it utterly bizarre.

Suddenly, the female student moved. But instead of running, she slamd a vicious punch into the boy beside her, producing a dull thud.
The boy’s body exploded as if hit by a cannonball!

After the boy’s body exploded, the girl precisely plucked a flat, fleshy ball covered in fine tentacles from his remains. It was the Crab Fiend beast!

The pieces reached the girl’s feet, crawled up her legs and onto her body, and finally rged with her.
As the chunks of at continued to integrate, the girl’s body plumped up at a visible rate, like an inflating balloon.
In the blink of an eye, she had beco fat.
"You must be Su Ze," the girl said, holding the Crab Fiend beast in one hand. She looked at Su Ze with a sweet smile that sent a chill straight to the top of his head.
"I’m not. You’ve got the wrong person." Su Ze turned and ran.
"Why run so fast? I admire you. I want to invite you to join my body."
The mont she finished speaking, a distinctive-looking chunk of at on the ground began to wriggle rapidly, chasing after Su Ze at a speed too fast for the naked eye to follow.
