"Thank you for visiting , Hirotaka-kun."

Chizuru's grandma, Kasumi Ichinose, was so happy when Nifuji ca to visit her.

"I am sorry for not being able to co so often, Kasumi-san."

"No, no! Please don't worry about that. I know that you are busy with your work, right? Don't worry about , and thank you for taking care of Chizuru, Hirotaka-kun."

Even though Kasumi was weak, she still raised her body and held his hands tightly. She was truly grateful to Nifuji as she knew well that she didn't have a long age, and it wouldn't be a long ti before she might pass away.

Yet, if she had to be honest, she would like to see her great-grandchildren first, despite how selfish her wish may be.

As for marriage, she didn't have that idea, as she knew the current marriage and the past were different.

If it were in the past, when one made a vow, two people would be together till death parted them, but now?

If their relationship wasn't good, then they would choose to part ways.

While it might seem cold and even less romantic, if in the end, one could only choose to divorce, and that was the best result, then it was the best for the couple, since in many cases, the old marriage wasn't that good, and if there was a reason why they were together despite all of the worse things that happened on their family, as it was just strange for one to divorce despite how much pain they felt in the marriage.

So, instead of getting married, Kasumi wanted to see her grandchildren more, as she knew that even if Chizuru had children, Nifuji would take care of them. Instead, being able to tie him with a child was the fastest way for Chizuru to live in comfort, as she knew that she didn't have a long ti.

If there was a ti when she wanted to live a long ti, she watched over the two till Chizuru was pregnant.

"...." Nifuji.

Unfortunately, Kasumi wasn't even sure she could stay with her granddaughter for long.

"I am not the only one who takes care of her; she also takes care of . I am grateful that she can stay by my side."

"Hirotaka-kun..."

Kasumi's eyes were teary, hoping for Chizuru to get pregnant right away.

"...." Chizuru and Nifuji.

Still, after they talked for a while, Kasumi showed off her granddaughter's boyfriend to her friends at the hospital. "Look, this is Hirotaka-kun. My grandchildren's lover! He is so handso, right?"

"..." Nifuji.

Yet, while Kasumi said those words, all the grandmas were in a daze when they saw him for the first ti.

Among them, there was one who sighed. "Kazuya won't stand a chance." This grandma thought to introduce her grandson to Chizuru, but unfortunately, Chizuru's boyfriend was just too much.

"....." Kazuya.

Still, Nifuji was polite and talked with them calmly, as he knew that it was rare for him to visit Kasumi, so he didn't mind making her happy, and if this made her happy, let's do it. Yet, her happiness was so simple, he thought.

'Well, she isn't the only one, though.'

If Kasumi was happy, Chizuru was the happiest, as she had never expected that Nifuji would really co to the hospital to visit her grandmother. Even though she knew their relationship wasn't built on balance and their feelings weren't good, she was his rental girlfriend who asked him to beco her rental boyfriend, which often made her wonder whether she was fit for him.

Still, was she such an unconfident woman?

If it were Kazuya, Chizuru definitely wouldn't care, as she knew what kind of a ss that Kazuya was, and even the other guys at the university or other places, she also didn't care about them either, as they were just not right. So might be good-looking, honest, and could even give their all to her, yet she didn't care about them since all she wanted was only one, and that was Nifuji.

Was she shallow to choose him over any others?

Yet, wasn't that how love was?

Despite people telling them that Nifuji was bad, the worst, as he couldn't give his all to her, Chizuru didn't care about that, and wished only for him, and even if they might not be married in the end, watching how he went to visit her grandmother, and tried to make her happy made her know that he had chosen the right man.

When Nifuji could make a lot of money, he chose to stay with Kasumi, who would give him nothing.

This act of his made Chizuru doubt everything that had previously disappeared, as she knew well that no matter how they would be in the future, she only wanted him.

"Thank you."

"Why did you thank ?"

After they talked for a while, Kasumi was naturally exhausted, so she went to rest and also needed to leave Nifuji and Chizuru alone, since the closer they were, the better.

"For coming to my grandmother."

"It's fine. I have my fun, too. It seems soone is sad, thought."

"Don't ntion that." Chizuru frowned. "That grandmother is a bit annoying, thought."

"You can't bla her. If she does nothing, her grandson might likely die a virgin."

"There is a chance he might do a rental girlfriend, right?"

"Or worse?"

"....." Chizuru and Nifuji.

The two of them looked at each other for a mont, then said, "Let's not ntion him again."

For them, the man that they ntioned wasn't even part of the story. Kazuya was just a background character, and in many cases, they often forgot about him, who likely still lived in the sa apartnt, or had moved?

The two of them weren't sure, as they rarely t Kazuya.

"So, do you want to rest for a bit? I have booked the nearby hotel that we visited before."

"...aren't you in a little too much of a hurry, you lewd woman?"

Nifuji wondered how Chizuru had beco such a lewd woman.

"Wasn't it you who made this way?" Chizuru was also embarrassed, her face reddened, as she used her shoulder to bump him.

"But, well, I don't mind, though."

When Nifuji thought that they might recreate their first ti, he felt a unique sense of novelty, so he didn't mind.

"..." Chizuru.

"But..."

Nifuji held Chizuru's hand firmly as he sat on the hospital bench, staring at the scenery outside the building. "I want to enjoy myself by your side for a bit."

"...you said sothing so cheesy now." Chizuru didn't hate it, though.

"Is it?"

"It was like those lines that ca out from the movie."

"...you made embarrassed when you said it that way."

"I love it, though." Chizuru moved closer, leaning her head against his shoulder, even closer as her face pressed against his neck.

"...this is a hospital."

Nifuji's body stiffened from her sudden closeness.

"Hotel, then?"

"...you really, really perverted.

"Don't you like it~?"

"I do like it. Let's go."

"Um~"

The two of them didn't waste their ti and went to the hotel where they stayed for the first ti together. The place where Chizuru lost her first ti, and shared their night and morning together. It was a morable place that they would be rembered forever.

Yet, even so, as they walked, Chizuru asked, "What do you want to talk about?" She felt like he wanted to say sothing.

"It's nothing. I was just thinking about how wonderful you are."

"...."

Chizuru's face reddened as emotions blossod, making her heart beat so fast. "You are so cheesy..."

"Do you love it?"

"I do~! But, what's wrong?"

"No, I have been thinking for a long ti, and I know that sotis my indecisiveness makes you worry as you don't know what I am thinking, as you think that I might leave you when I am bored with you, but..."

Nifuji held her hand tighter. "You don't have to worry about that, as I want to hold you forever. I know my words might seem impossible, since I am also dating another person, but... I love you, Chizuru."

"...."

Chizuru couldn't even speak properly; her eyes were red, and tears were already streaming down her face.

The one that she had been worrying about wasn't about whether she would marry him or not, but whether he would leave her or not.

Unlike Mini, who was an idiot and simple, Chizuru couldn't do that, and she tended to overthink more than others. After all, unlike Mini, who had a complete family, she lacked a family, especially when her mother and father divorced so early.

She didn't know where he was, and she didn't care either, but her mother passed away when she was young.

For soone who didn't have parents except for her grandparents, especially when her grandparents were also busy, she tended to put others' needs before her own. Instead of her own happiness, she felt that she should give to others first, especially those she loved.

As for those she didn't care about, she didn't care, since she didn't co from a family in a good economic situation. Her sharpness in judging people ca from how she needed to make money to take care of herself and her grandmother, so when those people bothered her, who cared about them?

After all, if she cared, would they take care of her bills?

Yet, if she cared about soone so sincerely, then she would forget about herself and put everything into that person, and that person was Nifuji.

"Let's go inside."

"...you are really perverted."

"Only for you, though~!"

Nifuji smiled, thinking Chizuru was as cute as ever, yet he knew this was far from the end, since there was still a woman he needed to talk to, and that decision took away his resolve, as he well knew he needed her.

Still, before that, Chizuru and Nifuji went all out in the room, and sohow... they might go all the way, without restraints that Chizuru even called Mini to join in.
