Whistle. Whistle.

Lillian dusted her hands as she slowly moved away from a man’s corpse that was slumped against a wall without a head.

She then muttered under her breath as she walked into the ship’s corridor:

"After fighting monsters and people above this kind of level... It feels a bit too weird to win fights this easily..."

Her ears then twitched at the sounds of battle on the deck above her. She smiled slightly as she said out loud, "I should find a spot to spectate the fight... It’s not everyday you see pirates battle it out."

***

"[3rd Technique of the Fluttering Fish: Seabreeze]!"

Kirken slashed his sword out and sent a powerful gust of wind, enhanced by his wind elent, towards Righthook, who resisted against it rather easily.

Unfortunately for Kirken, so of his henchn were thrown off the sides of the boat by his attack.

And this was sothing Righthook was going to mock him about.

"Arrr... What a fool you are, using an attack on your own shipmates. Nothing going through your noggin’ other an treasure? Even I’m not that bad."

Kirken’s face twitched at Righthook’s words as he retorted, "They can swim, but unlike you, they won’t be dead and belly up in the sea."

Once he said that, he charged towards Righthook with a cloak of wind wrapped around his body. And as he swung overhead and down on Righthook, the bearded man grinned.

"[3rd Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter: Riptide Reversal]."

With a slow and serene movent, Righthook parried Kirken’s swing and sohow redirected the force behind the attack to him.

Kirken’s arm shot back with gritted teeth before watching as Righthook’s body suddenly blurred out of sight.

His eyes shot wide open. Where had the bearded man gone?

Within a split second, he twisted his head back and found Righthook standing behind him—holding a steady stance.

And like a surge from the deepest depths of the sea, he flashed his cutlass upwards and tore through Kirken’s back like he was cutting through a gap in the sea.

Kirken’s eyes flickered in pain as a groan escaped his lips. With his mind split between consciousness and unconsciousness, he gritted his teeth and rose back up.

But as soon as he turned his entire body around again, he was t with a large illusory fishing net falling upon the entire deck of his ship. He widened his eyes as ti slowed and his enemy whispered:

"[4th Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter... Drowning Net]..."

With a rapid sequence of interlaced slashes, Righthook had created a crisscrossing net of high-speed downwards slashes, which overwheld both Kirken and the entirety of his henchn that still remained on the deck.

And in just a third of a second, everyone in front of Righthook was torn and carved into pieces—as well as the reinforced wooden floorboards of the ship, which might’ve been cut to pieces as well if it wasn’t for Righthook’s precise control.

"KAHAHAHA!" Righthook let out a bellowing laugh as he watched in the corners of his eyes, Lillian crawling out of a trapdoor from under the deck.

He was stunned for a split second before grinning, "So, you ca along as well? Good! You can help look through their treasure!"

"No need for that, I already got it right here." Lillian smiled, pulled out the chest, and showed it to him.

Captain Righthook’s eyes glead as stars appeared in his eyes at the sight of the chest. He imdiately dropped to his knees with fidgeting fingers and pulled open the lid of the chest.

He then gasped at the sight of gold coins.

Lillian, who watched as he played around with the coins, couldn’t help but laugh internally at what he was playing with was only 25% of what was in the chest prior.

’But he doesn’t need to know that... He seems happy already.’

After he had closed the chest and shoved it into his spatial ring, he looked towards Lillian and patted her shoulder with a joyful grin, "Perhaps you are useful! I’ll look past the fact that you didn’t pay and welco you fully!"

Lillian gave a small smile, then nodded as she was told to get back to their ship.

Righthook, watching as Lillian leapt over the side and into the sea, looked over and watched curiously as she casually walked on top of the water with her hands in her pockets.

He gave a low hum and stroked his beard before moving towards the centre of the pirate ship.

He raised his cutlass over his head and raised his tal hook to its hilt, which suddenly transford into a human hand, and gripped the handle of the weapon.

Then, with a deep breath, he shot mana into his cutlass and caused it to suddenly grow in size and mass.

Lillian, who had climbed back onto the deck of the ship, turned around and sat down as she slowly watched a horrifically long creature rise into the sky.

It was a vast serpent that spanned several dozen tres into the air. It had scales that glistened with a dark blue tint to them that beca more reflective as ti went on.

The rising serpent had a long snout with jagged, spear-like teeth and twirling ram-like horns on the side of its head. And it also had glowing yellow eyes that seemingly burned with a ferocious fla inside its pupils.

It was an incredibly muscular creature that seed to belong to a long line of dragons. And standing under it, towering and rising, was one man, from whom it stemd.

When Captain Righthook swung down, the serpent coiled and faced the deck of the ship.

With a large arc and curve, the sea serpent charged downwards with prehistoric roar and shattered through the reinforced fra of the ship.

The ship split down the middle and folded before crumbling apart and splintering like a shattered pane of glass.

And as a large curtain of water rose from the serpent’s splash, Lillian couldn’t help but gape in awe and give a crooked smile as she muttered quietly:

"The [5th Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter: Leviathan’s Descent]... It is no joke..."
