The custom brush had caught the interest of Kong-san and Gluttony-san as well, and when I went to see Frea-san, I had thought I should try recomnding it to Al-san too.

And recomnding it to Al-san was actually pretty easy…… she drops by to hang out fairly often, so I simply have plenty of chances to see her.

[Fuaaaah, this is the latest model coffee magic tool!? How nice, maybe I should buy one too…… Hah!? Ahem! As expected of my sworn friend, your breadth of vision is evident in how swiftly you seize hold of newly born light.]

[I just happened to buy it by chance. I saw one at Al-san's place, and thought I’d like one……]

[My sworn friend!]

Al-san’s eyes had been sparkling at the latest coffee maker, but when she heard my words, an unmistakably delighted expression spread across her face.

She was probably happy that seeing her coffee maker had led to buy a similar magic tool. It’s like that simple joy you feel when you share sothing in common with a friend…… Honestly, whenever I’m with Al-san, I feel like I can see the phantom of a Poranian behind her, practically bouncing with excitent.

[By the way, Al-san, this isn’t related to that magic tool, but rember when I told you I ordered an exclusive brush?]

[Ah, the brush for your familiars, yes? I do not command any familiars, but I am aware of your dedication, my sworn friend. Was it a piece that possessed brilliance worthy of your discerning eye?]

[Yes, it felt amazing to use…… but more than that, there might be sothing about this exclusive brush that could benefit the Wingeds as well…… To explain in detail……]

For the mont, I explained to Al-san what I had heard from Frea-san. I didn’t know whether magic power perability actually affected the wings of the Wingeds, but if it did, then perhaps this brush would be good for them too, that was the gist of what I told her.

[……I see. Indeed, magic power perability is important. The wings of us Wingeds harbor great magic power, but sadly, they are not equally wrapped in brilliance. It is difficult to channel magic power into each individual feather. Moreover, only a limited number of us can use magic.]

[Ah, right…… I tend to forget, but for Humans, magic is basically a specialized skill.]

[It is gradually improving, especially of late, with humans at the center, one can observe an increase in learning speed. Yet, regrettably, for the Wingeds who dwell in a closed land, new light does not easily reach us. To turn one’s back on those who walk with the light of innovation and instead enjoy tranquility…… I, for one, have my thoughts on the matter……]

There weren’t many who had learned magic, and even Kuro’s recent efforts to improve magical teachings for Humans were being hampered by the Wingeds’ closed-off nature…… For Al-san, who believed the Wingeds should interact more with the outside world, it must be quite a headache.

[So, about this brush…… For now, as long as you can pour magic power into it, it works even if you can’t use magic, so the barrier to using it should be much lower than learning magic. And you once said wings are a source of pride for the Wingeds, right? If it helps make them even more beautiful, maybe they’d feel motivated to interact with the outside world. After all, since it’s an exclusive brush, you need to provide sothing or submit requests to have one made……]

[……!? T- That’s it!!! You’re absolutely right! If it’s a brush for wings, there must be many who would want one even if it ans interacting with the outside world! The reason doesn’t matter. What’s important is that they take the initiative to engage with the outside world themselves. If that can happen…… This is incredible, my sworn friend! It might beco the catalyst that changes the Wingeds!!!]

It seed my suggestion struck Al-san as sothing truly promising. Her eyes shone as she spoke to with rising excitent.

The fact that she had completely reverted to her natural tone made it all the more obvious just how thrilled she was.

[And another big factor is that you’re using it, my sworn friend. If it’s a brush beloved by you, who has received the Blessing of the God of Creation, then everyone will surely want one! If that becos the spark that softens everyone’s attitude toward other races even a little…… I’d be so happy…… Thank you, my sworn friend! I can see a new light!!!]

[I’m glad it made you happy. I think it’ll probably work, but it might be a good idea to confirm whether a brush for the Wingeds can be made as well. There’s soone nad Cornelia-san of the Sharon County who’s a friend of mine, so it might be best to consult her first. If you’d like, I can ask about it with you……]

[If she’s my sworn friend's friend, then there can be no mistake! Cornelia-san might beco a bridge between the Wingeds and other races!!! Ehehe, I’m looking forward to it~~]

[……By the way, Al-san.]

[Unn?]

[Well, your way of speaking……]

[Hah…… awawawa, ahem! I am ever in awe of the breadth of my sworn friend’s perspective. For showing us one who may beco both a new light and a bridge for the Wingeds, I offer thanks on behalf of our race. The light of dawn is visible. The ti of reform draws near, and with this masterpiece that grants brilliance to our wings as the key, the sealed doors shall surely open.]

I personally didn’t mind her natural way of speaking, but perhaps out of simple embarrassnt, Al-san reverted to her usual chuuni-like way of speaking, then clenched her fist as if steeling her resolve.

Still, if this talk of becoming a bridge between the Wingeds and other races really goes sowhere, Cornelia-san will probably have a lot on her plate, so if that happens, I’ll step in to help diate as well.

Especially considering…… whether proper communication will even be possible with Al-san’s manner of speech.

Serious-senpai : [……I knew it.]

? ? ? : [To be made the key to reforming the insular Winged Folk, and their bridge to the outside world…… Cornelia-san’s future sure is bright~~]

Serious-senpai : [It’s so bright she’s practically being burned to ashes by the light……]
