If you asked what the trigger was, it was a chance encounter. After having Elise-san recomnd so coffee beans to , I figured I might as well ask Ozma-san for his recomndations too, so I went to see him.
There was nothing particularly unusual about that, I simply got so suggestions for coffee beans and recomnded shops, and was thinking of stopping by one on my way ho…… when I ran into Kong-san completely by coincidence.

We ended up making so idle small talk, and in the middle of that conversation, the topic of the exclusive brush ca up…… It might be rude to say unexpected, but Kong-san showed far more interest than I would have imagined, asking all sorts of questions.
Well, Kong-san is a Beast-type Demon, fur all over his body, so in that sense, an exclusive brush might suit him…… but he doesn’t really seem like the type to care much about grooming or beauty…… Could it be he’s more particular about it than he looks?

It seed that, just as I’d thought, Kong-san himself didn’t particularly care about grooming, but given his position, there were aspects he couldn’t afford to ignore.
[And the Boss also tells to properly adjust my magic power peration rate…… but I’m not great with that kind of fine magic power control. I still struggle with it a lot. But with that brush, it’d make the adjustnts easier, right?]

The president of the Victor Trading Company and the monster scholar there probably know that I purchased exclusive brushes, but whether whoever reads the letter at the trading company would imdiately understand if it was introduced as my recomndation is uncertain, so I thought it would be better to go through Cornelia-san first and told him so. Kong-san readily agreed, giving a bold thumbs-up along with his response.
The day after that exchange with Kong-san, I found myself discussing the exclusive brush again, this ti in a completely different place. My conversation partner was Gluttony-san. Since our first eting, she has invited for tea every few months or so, and this ti was no different; I had co to the subspace where she resides.
Well…… as usual, the tea and sweets were exquisitely terrible in a very delicate way. Still, Gluttony-san looked genuinely happy that I had co, so a bit of bad flavor was hardly an issue.
Even with her peculiarities, she had helped out several tis, during the Harmonic Symphony, the ship party, and other occasions, so I was more than willing to keep her company to this extent. Besides, perhaps out of consideration for my schedule, she only invited occasionally…… which makes her far more reasonable than Makina-san, who shows up about five tis a week.
"I see…… If it is a brush personally used by Miyama Kaito-sama, then I would very much like to acquire one as well."

Since no one else was present at the mont, Gluttony-san, still in her plushie form, was speaking freely, clearly intrigued by the exclusive brush.
Certainly, one could say her Dinsion Beasts were kind of her pets…… Well, more accurately, they were probably subordinates or familiars, but in any case, exclusive brushes for them might not be a bad idea.
Incidentally, during our first eting she had kept them waiting elsewhere so they wouldn’t be in the way, but normally, this subspace was filled with Dinsion Beasts, and I had seen them many tis by now.
If I had to describe it, their appearance leaned toward sothing out of Cthulhu, many of them possessed rather overwhelming looks and designs…… To the point that Natasha-san being the only one who looked like an ordinary girl almost felt like a mutation by comparison.
This subspace, with tens of thousands of Dinsion Beasts flitting about everywhere, had the atmosphere of a horror scene. I had a feeling that Hina-chan would scream and run away if she saw this place.
Thinking that, I gently patted the head of a Dinsion Beast that had wandered near my seat…… a dog-like creature whose face looked as though half of it had been lted away by so powerful acid. Its texture was squishy, almost like sli, but this dog-like one did have fur.
Perhaps happy to be petted, it rubbed its squishy face against . The gesture was perfectly dog-like and even adorable. Its face was almost pure horror, but once you got used to it, it didn’t really bother you that much.

"Indeed. I believe I shall first contact the Sharon County. My heartfelt gratitude for this valuable information…… By the way, what do you think? That Dinsion Beast there was designed with companionship in mind rather than combat ability……"

I carefully avoided comnting on its appearance. One of its eyeballs was sticking halfway out…… Was that because its face had lted and pushed it out, or was that simply its normal shape……? Unn. Well, its gestures were cute…… its gestures, that is……
