Now then, the first tournant has ended, and the second tournant is about to begin. Since people who were just observing at first will start participating, it looks like there will be more participants than in the first round earlier.
Also, it seems that those who made it to the finals have to sit this one out and take a break, so Kuro, Al-san, Eul, and Eris-san will just be watching this ti.
Well, Kuro seems satisfied with winning once, and from now on, she plans to watch the tournant while coaching her family mbers who are still not used to the ga instead of participating.
And since there are more participants in the second tournant, I figured it would take so ti until my exhibition match, so I decided to use this chance to go ahead and spin the prize lottery.
Oh, I pulled another EX here. Wasn’t this a gift from an Otherworld World Creator? In that case, should I have Ein-san call for Canalis-san?
Just as I thought that, Canalis-san appeared right next to and handed a wrapped package.
[EX4 would be this one.]
[T- Thank you…… this is…… a knitted hat, I think?]
When I opened the package I received, there was a warm-looking knitted hat inside. I wondered if this also had so kind of incredible effect, and looked toward Canalis-san.
Noticing my doubt, Canalis-san began to explain about the knitted hat.
[Yes. That knitted hat was apparently hand-knitted with great effort…… that’s all.]
[Eh? Unn?]
[Ahh~~ I understand what you’re thinking, Kaito-sama. You’re probably wondering if, since it’s sothing made by a World Creator, it might have so mysterious, superhuman effect like the one earlier, right? Tahaa~~ actually, you see, even among World Creators, there’s a wide range of power levels. I myself am among the Omniscient and Omnipotent, but there are those who are not so good at anything else, yet excel solely in World Creation. There are also so special cases, like where she just happen to acquire World Creation items made by other Gods and created a world by chance, so their own abilities are actually quite low.]
[Ah, I see. Now that you ntion it, it makes sense that there would be differences in power.]
Speaking of which, I recall hearing that the Great Evil God who created the world where Alice originally ca from also didn’t have very high abilities. I think I heard that they created the world at the cost of most of their own power and ended up losing most of their abilities.
Of course, from my perspective as a human, the fact that they could create a world at all already makes them incredibly powerful, but among World Creators, it seems safe to say their ability level was on the lower side.
[Incidentally, the World Creator who prepared that gift falls into the latter category. She was actually a survivor from a world that another World Creator had made and abandoned.]
[A World Creator abandoned their world?]
[Yes, this may sound astonishing, but there are so irresponsible ones out there who, on a whim, create a world, but then get bored of managing it or lose interest. Since it’s troubleso to destroy it, they just leave the world as is, go elsewhere, or create a new world altogether. Tahaa~~ Well, I’ve actually left the managent of my own created world to an acquaintance myself, so I can’t exactly speak too harshly but…… there really are a lot of worlds out there that have been abandoned by their creators.]
It’s a rather lonely thought, but, well, it’s not surprising that such worlds exist.
[Anyhow, the World Creator who sent this gift was a survivor of one of those forsaken, ruined worlds. She happened to obtain a tool left behind by the World Creator, and while she couldn't do anything about her collapsing world with her own power, she used that tool to create a new world and relocate the inhabitants of her old world. Thanks to the God-crafted tool she acquired, she beca immortal and can do anything the tool allows, but outside of that, she’s mostly powerless.]
[What an incredible story that is. And so, this hand-knitted knit cap……]
[Yes. She asked other World Creator to share information about Kaito-sama's previous world, then chose sothing she could make herself, using materials similar to those from her own world, and knitted it herself. Now then, let relay the ssage she entrusted to ……
……ssage End]
[Thank you. Please tell her I will treasure it.]
[Yes. Understood.]
Surely, she must have beco a World Creator out of a desire to protect her friends and family in her dying world. I could sowhat feel her gentle nature conveyed through her ssage.
Truly…… It was a really wonderful gift that ward my heart.
"The Girl Who Beca a World Creator"
In a world abandoned by its original creator, left to decay and destined for ruin, a girl happened upon a tool once used by the World Creator to shape the world, a tool left behind and forgotten. Though she tried desperately to save her original world, the tool wasn’t ant for such a purpose and could not halt its decline. Instead, she used it to create a new world and evacuated the inhabitants there. As compensation for using the World Creator’s tool, her nature beca similar to that of a World Creator, and she beca immortal. Later, the original World Creator, furious over the unauthorized use of their tool, attacked her. However, Nebula, who happened to be nearby, effortlessly defeated the enraged creator. Upon hearing the girl's story, Nebula used her overwhelming power to restore the ruined world, rged it with the new one the girl had created to allow free passage between the two, and even forged tools to help manage them, gifting them to the girl free of charge. Having gone through all this, she ca to deeply admire Nebula. Though she possesses the powers needed to manage a world in the form of tools, her base abilities are so low that they’re nearly on par with Kaito’s. She feels genuine gratitude toward Kaito, who was the trigger for Nebula’s revival, and shares a certain sense of kinship with him due to their similar circumstances. For the record, she belongs to the Die-Hard Devotees Fan Club.
