The Heavenly Dao said,

"Since he is still just a child, I cannot punish him too severely. But... I shall place a curse upon him."

Everyone was shocked upon hearing this.

Xing Tian roared in rage, his spiritual pressure surging violently."You have no right to punish my grandson!"

The sheer force of his pressure pressed everyone in the area to the ground. A massive spiritual pressure weighed down on them so heavily that they struggled to breathe.

One person cried out, "If Elder wants, he could destroy this entire place with just his spiritual pressure!"

Another replied, "But who’s going to stop him? He’s far too powerful for any of us..."

But then the Heavenly Dao spoke again, calm and unshaken.

"I can stop him. Because, as you know, my purpose is to maintain balance in this world. And the mont your grandson was born, that balance began to shift."

He turned his eyes toward Xing Tian.

"And one more thing—who are you trying to intimidate with your spiritual pressure? Do you even know who I am?"

Saying this, the Heavenly Dao erased Xing Tian’s spiritual pressure.

Everyone was stunned. One person whispered, "I knew the Heavenly Dao was powerful... but not this powerful."

The Heavenly Dao continued, "Since the boy has committed no evil karma, I shall only punish him lightly."He paused, then declared, "I will curse him with the Dragon Tribulation."

Confused murmurs spread through the crowd."What’s the Dragon Tribulation? What does that even an?"

The Heavenly Dao answered, "You might not know, so I’ll explain it."

"Dragon Thunder.""Each ti this boy breaks through to the next level, he must face the sa Thunder Dragon Tribulation he just experienced. Every ti he levels up... a Thunder Dragon will descend upon him. And each ti, the dragon will be at least five realms stronger than him. He won’t be able to survive it alone. He’ll need soone strong to protect him during every Brakethrough."

Hearing this, everyone was shocked once again. Their hope began to wither away.

They had thought a genius was finally born into their world. But now, his future would be filled with hardships every ti he tried to grow stronger.

Still, one person stepped forward and said,"Don’t be discouraged. Have you all forgotten which clan he was born into? It’s the Demon Clan. That clan has many powerful warriors. In the future, they can surely assign a strong guardian to protect him during his tribulations."

Hearing this, the crowd regained a bit of hope.

The boy, watching all this quietly, thought to himself:"Look at this... soone just wants to cultivate in peace, but the world won’t allow it. I don’t want a Heavenly Dao like this."

The System responded in his mind,"Yes, Host. I agree with you. I don’t want a Heavenly Dao like this either."

Scene Shift: Sky Realm

Far above, the true Heavenly Dao revealed himself. He had golden hair, fair skin, and an almost divine appearance—handso in a quiet, graceful way.

He gazed down and thought,"Do you all think I’m unhappy because of this child? No... you’re wrong. I’m happier than any of you."

"But the people of the Divine Realm are not. They don’t like this child. They fear him. They know he might surpass them all one day. That’s why they pressured —forced —to act. I had no choice."

He paused again.

"And because I punished soone who had done nothing wrong... I must do him a favor in return."

"As compensation... I shall grant him one of my blessings."

The Heavenly Dao continued,"I will also give him a na... and a title."

He raised his hand toward the child and declared,"From this day forward, his na shall be Jin, and his family na—Tian. His full na is Jin Tian."

"As a blessing," he added, "I shall grant him two things: a title and an ability."

"His title will be: The Monster Living Among Mortals.""And as for the ability—I grant him Regeneration."

As soon as he spoke those words, a glowing light descended upon the boy.

Jin’s body began to shine so brightly that everyone instinctively raised their hands to shield their eyes.

And then... the Heavenly Dao finally disappeared from the realm.

Once he was gone, silence fell.

Everyone was in complete shock.

They couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed.

"He gave that child a blessing... even after punishing him," soone whispered in disbelief.

"Yes," another replied. "That child was already a genius... and now, with the blessing of the Heavenly Dao? I can’t even imagine how terrifying his potential is now."

Jin, still processing everything, stood quietly. He had heard it all, but still looked confused.

Suddenly, the System’s voice rang in his mind:

"Host has received a na, a title, and an ability from the Heavenly Dao. Would you like to view all of them? Please open your stat panel."

Jin thought,Of course I want to see! Is that even a question?

Without delay, he responded,"System, open my stat panel."

As usual, a golden screen materialized in front of him, displaying all of Jin’s attributes.

Then sothing hit his mind," Oh, I did not do the main thing."

The system asked What are you trying to do now.

He said Don’t worry about that. It’s nothing serious, I want to know about my ability. The system shows its Description.

System replied ok, showing the description of the host’s newly gained ability. The Host has gained 3 new abilities from the heavenly dao.

He was confused to hear this. What 3 abilities? Did not the heavenly dao just give one ability? System, what are the other two abilities, and where do they co from?
