Gabriella was indeed happy to bend over for Jas first thing in morning. She was as bubbly as ever when he left her room despite the trembling in her legs.

Jas headed back to Violets room before pausing suddenly. A noise from his stomach made him head down a hall, intent on bringing back breakfast now.

On his way to get food, faint shouting found his ear and his servants instantly drew their weapons.

He tensed as well, the witch cult attack fresh in his mind. Jas glanced at the two and set his jaw, they proceeded towards the noise at a jog.

Everyone relaxed a little when there wasn’t any clashing steel or magic blasts following the shouting match. Two won seed very angry.

Jas recognized the room he stood in front of as the voices continued to argue back and forth in the audience chamber.

’Auntie sounds pissed.. what is going on in there?’

The guards at the entrance looked at him questioningly but opened the heavy wooden door as if he was supposed to be here.

Jas was nosy, so he couldn’t help himself from walking inside.

He froze a little when he saw the woman his aunt argued with.

Easily eight-foot tall, green skin and braided hair shook as she yelled, "And I’m telling you she cannot et you! The Empress has been very clear on this matter!"

Anastasia looked like a true Queen as she stood from her throne, her formal clothes glead imperiously.

"Then we have nothing more to discuss. Begone from my sight before I reduce you to ash."

The cold fury in his aunt’s voice made him shiver a little.

Jas used [Identify] on the woman and confird his suspicions of her race.

’Holy fuuuuuccckkk.... That’s a goddamn epic class man! And what’s with that title.. eugh.. creepy.’

That was one of the classes that stuck out to him back when he was selecting his own.

The Orc, Bashi, stood her ground and roared back at his aunt.

"Raise your hand to if you dare human, I wouldn’t mind adding to my trophies today."

The air crackled with tension and Jas almost shit his pants.

’Why are they so angry first thing in the morning.. that’s a bad way to start the day!’

"Ahem.."

Jas coughed and gathered two very venomous looks. It was the only thing he could think of, he really did not want the war to start right here and now.

His aunt did a double take and opened her mouth in confusion.

"Jas? What are you doing here?"

Bashi scoffed as she stared at , "Leave, little manling. This is not a discussion for your delicate ears."

A vein pulsed in Jas’s forehead at her words, his earlier trepidation erased. One thing he did not tolerate was disrespect to his manhood.

"Whose delicate ears are you talking about exactly? I know you weren’t referring to , you overgrown toad!"

His faithful servants would always protect Jas no matter what, but they involuntarily took a step back. Who told their master to seek death so eagerly!

Bashi flinched a little and growled back, "Watch your mouth manling, or I’ll stuff it for you."

She rudely grabbed her crotch as his aunt gasped. She looked ready to trash the Orc, but Jas cut her off as he spit venom.

"You couldn’t fill my mouth with such a tiny thing! Listen here grandma, YOU watch YOUR mouth before I shut it for YOU. Who do YOU think YOU are, I’ll fold YOU into a pretzel and break YOUR pussy till YOU beg to stop!"

Jas stomped forward in rage.

Bashi did the sa as she yelled back at him.

"I’d like to see YOU try! YOU will be begging to stop after one minute! Little boy, I’m going to wreck YOUR hole with my huge—"

Bashi wasn’t the only Orc in the room and was surrounded by her delegation as hands pulled her back.

Emily and Veronica were doing the sa for Jas as they kept shouting vulgar words of sexual deviance at each other.

Jas’s face was still black in anger as he glared at the Orc, Bashi t his look and smirked. It took almost fifteen minutes to get them both under control. He tried to calm himself and focused on why it would be bad for a war to start.

He wanted to make peace, but the huge green slab of ats face kept pissing him off with provocative expressions.

His aunt was sowhat lost for words as she looked at her willful nephew.

Eventually, Jas spoke after swallowing his anger.

"What’s the issue here, auntie?"

She bit her lip and looked to struggle for an answer, not wanting to drag Jas into country politics.

It didn’t matter if she was going to tell him or not because Bashi spoke for her.

"The ’issue’ is that this blasted woman won’t reinstate our trade agreent."

His aunts face grew dark as she hissed back, "I’ve explained to you very clearly why I cannot."

Bashi clenched her fists and looked ready to break the thin veil of peace we just got back.

"Okay! I get the gist of the situation. Sothing needs to give here, both of you have to make so sort of concession. That way, everyone’s equally unhappy!"

Jas rembered his conversation with his aunt about why negotiations kept failing and tried desperately to find anything that would be useful.

His aunt shook her head stubbornly, "Until the raids stop, I have nothing I wish to discuss. Maybe if your Empress crawled out of bed, I’d be more willing to talk. I will not tolerate this disrespect towards my people."

Jas smacked his forehead and drug his hand down his face.

’I understand she wants to keep her people safe, but this will do more harm in the long term than good..’

Bashi spoke through gritted teeth then. Well, gritted... tusks?

"And I keep telling you that is out of our control! The raiders target our small villages too! Plus, I’ve already explained that the Empress is bedridden! Would you have her harm herself further, stupid human."

They were at a stalemate and Jas saw the civil discourse crumbling down rapidly.

’Shit. What am I supposed to do. Fuck hmmm...’

An idea struck him like a bolt of lightning.

"Why don’t you just create a joint-task force?"

His question made the won pause and they looked at him with raised eyebrows.

Jas explained then, rembering his ti in the army. The war in the dessert wasn’t fought by the U.S. alone. Australia, Ireland, the UK and many other countries joined the war to combine forces.

They even had a couple bases stateside with the sole purpose of conducting joint military training exercises.

If both countries here were being attacked, Jas thought it made the most sense to team up. The enemy of enemy is my friend and all that good stuff.

He didn’t think he was so sort of mastermind and was shocked when the won considered his proposal deeply.

Bashi spoke while sowhat lost in thought.

"I’ve never heard of such a thing.. we aren’t allied but.. hmm.."

His aunt nodded seriously as she worked the idea around.

"Yeah.. not allied but we don’t need to be.. if I let Duchess Blazefall use her personal forces instead of the main army... then nobody could oppose it in a court of law.."

The two won gradually worked out a plan and looked at Jas reverently. He coughed a little at the attention and tried to guide them back to the topic at hand.

"So.. can you agree to a trade agreent now auntie?"

His aunt but her lip in thought again and finally nodded after a while.

"Yes, I think I can.. Emissary Bashi, let’s proceed and with the intention of working together."

The Orc woman nodded and soon scribes and scholars entered the room to record the deal while giving advice.

The conversation droned on, and Jas lost interest as he breathed in a sigh of relief. He let himself wear a proud smile after a mont; he just stopped a whole fucking war from breaking out!

Jas still didn’t understand why the won hadn’t thought of combining forces before, to attack this common threat. It seed that a strong sense of nationalism and self-reliance blinded everyone to the obvious solutions.

Isolation from other cultures was still prevalent today, a remanent of the witch cults influence all those years ago. It still created unease where there shouldn’t be any.

The Orcs were aggressive by nature, but hundreds and hundreds of years of developnt should’ve stopped this problem before it even began.

The more Jas thought about it, the more certain he was that sothing sinister was happening behind the scenes. Picking at the scab constantly, egging on conflict for no reason, only one group fit that description.

’The witch cult is trying to make a coback..’

That was the only plausible answer, but it was one that Jas did not like.

For so reason, a heated discussion broke out again, making Jas stop is inner dialogue.

"Just thirty! That’s all we ask for, can you not even consider it!?" Bashi was desperately asking for sothing.

"Just thirty?! That’s a expenditure we cannot afford!"

Jas cut in then, wanting to settle the matter before it got out of hand.

"What’s the issue now?"

His aunt pointed at Bashi, completely outraged.

"She’s asking for thirty quota spots! Thirty!"

Bashi wasn’t angry this ti and instead looked at his aunt pleadingly.

"Our male population is under 15%! We just need a little support to stabilize the situation! Can you not even consider it?"

Anastasia shook her head solemnly.

"I apologize, but no, I cannot consider it. n are too valuable to be forced into such a situation, what if they turn infertile from the stress?"

Bashi sighed and lowered her head, accepting defeat. Jas kinda felt bad for the woman and her delegation as their expressions fell.

’I’m such a good guy.. damn it. Why do I always need to stick my head in places it doesn’t belong..’

Jas cleared his throat and stepped forward.

"Auntie.. what if I helped them out?"
