"Are you sure? Even if there’s an unspoken rule?"
Just as Han Jingnian was about to sign, he paused, although his face didn’t show much emotion. He only let out a snort that sounded half like a cold laugh, and proceeded to sign the paper, "Unspoken rules are fine for other matters, but not for this one."
Xia Wan’an: "..."
What do you an unspoken rules are fine for other things? It’s my first ti seeing soone hold such double standards. Is this really ok?!
With her pitch-black eyes wide open, Xia Wan’an stared at Han Jingnian’s stubborn-looking face for a while before she stubbornly began to negotiate again: "If one unspoken rule is not okay, how about two tis!"
Han Jingnian didn’t even respond to Xia Wan’an this ti. He just switched to another docunt, browsed it, and signed.
Is he blatantly ignoring her?
Xia Wan’an changed her posture, leaning on the desk, bringing her face close to Han Jingnian’s arm, and looked up at him batting her eyes: "If two tis are not okay, then three tis..."
Han Jingnian still didn’t respond to her.
"Four tis... five tis..."
Feeling like she was being treated like air, Xia Wan’an gritted her teeth and decided to gamble all in: "Ten tis!"
Finally, Han Jingnian looked up at Xia Wan’an.
Xia Wan’an thought she had hope, her eyes sparkling: "Surely that would do?!"
Han Jingnian stared into Xia Wan’an’s eyes for a while, then raised his hand, holding the pen in his fingertips, and tapped her cheek: "Stop joking around."
Stop joking? Does she look like she’s fooling around? She was clearly negotiating with him very seriously, okay?!
Xia Wan’an puffed up her cheeks, feeling unjustified.
As a beautiful young woman, even the tiniest bit of charm or cute actions could solve things with other n. But in front of him, she even proposed ten unspoken rules and he still remained unmoved. Was he rejecting her charm?
"Stop joking around", she’ll show him who’s really ssing around...
With that in mind, Xia Wan’an rolled off the desk, cuddled up to Han Jingnian, and started serving him like a lackey — massaging his shoulders and pounding his back. Then, as his brows relaxed, she wrapped her arms around his neck from behind, brought her face close to his ear, and said in a coquettish tone: "Brother Nian, just say yes to please~"
As her words ca to an end, a long line appeared on the paper that Han Jingnian was signing.
Three seconds later, he picked up the desk phone, dialed a number: "Get a new copy of President Li’s contract here."
After hanging up, Han Jingnian threw the ruined docunt into a nearby trash can.
Xia Wan’an blinked her eyes in disbelief: "..."
Really? She had thrown herself out there like that, and he still, won’t, budge?
Xia Wan’an gritted her teeth, then calmly asked: "Are you sure you won’t consider my proposal?"
