Since the day she, Chi Mu, was born, she has been the center of everybody’s attention. The sole heiress of the Chi family, she was given anything she wanted. For twenty-six years, she lived a life of bliss and privilege without ever experiencing any hardship.

She took a long shower. Only after rinsing away all the unpleasant feelings harboured in her heart, she wrapped herself in a bathrobe and ca out of the bathroom.
As she strategically applied makeup in front of the mirror, she noticed a red and swollen scratch on the corner of her eye. It was where she had been scratched when the two security guards had forcefully torn at her clothes. The most inflad part showed a slight trace of blood seeping out.
Her welco party was tomorrow night. This cut, albeit small, would not heal soon. Even with makeup, it would be hard to hide it perfectly. Chi Mu, being a perfectionist, would never allow herself to appear in public with any flaws!
With that thought, Chi Mu picked up her phone and dialed her father, Chi Yao, "Dad, I would like to postpone the welco party to the sa date next month."
"Why?" Chi Mu hesitated for a mont, not telling Chi Yao about the outrageous actions of Han Jingnian towards her, "Nothing much, I accidentally scratched the corner of my eye with my long nails, I was thinking about waiting until the wound healed... Dad, you just have to tell everyone that I’m feeling unwell and I’ve been hospitalized, and the welco party has to be postponed because of it."
After hanging up the call, Chi Mu studied herself in the mirror for a while, then picked up her phone, dialing another number: "Is this Q? How do you even conduct your business, what kind of garbage are your n? Two big n, two for crying out loud, still couldn’t handle one vapid vase? With this kind of performance, you still dare to think about taking down Han Jingnian? Huh..."
"This ti was an accident, Miss Chi, please calm down. Next ti, next ti, I promise there will be no problems."
"Next ti?" Chi Mu sneered, then continued, "Forget it, Q, I’ll deal with that inconspicuous woman myself. You go ahead with our main plan."
"Miss Chi, are you referring to activating the Zhang Cheng plan?"
"Yes, as long as Zhang Cheng betrays Han Jingnian, it’s like cutting off one of Han Jingnian’s arms."
"Since Miss Chi has said so, I will follow your instructions, Miss Chi. Is there anything else I need to assist you with on your end?"
"Hmm..." Chi Mu thought for a second, "Didn’t you ntion sending a gift? You can send it now."
