As their eyes t, Xia Wan’an saw hatred gleaming in Ai Jiang’s eyes. She didn’t shy away, eting Ai Jiang’s deadly glare with a hint of a smile, then she silently mouthed the words at her: "Feeling good?"
Ai Jiang registered her silent ssage, and a surging anger flashed across her haggard face.
She had always thought she held all the cards, that her sisterhood with Song Youman was rely superficial. It was only now that she realized she had been wrong all along!
Song Youman had been deceiving her. Having grown up together with Xia Wan’an, how could she possibly not know who her husband and father were!
As for Xia Wan’an, although she appeared to be a puppet in her hands, it turned out that Ai Jiang was the puppet being manipulated!
She had thought that Gao Lin rushing over was to enjoy Xia Wan’an’s embarrassnt, but the reality was it was her being laughed at.
Everyone in the room, each one crafty in their ways, all watched Han Jingnian’s every move.
While Ai Jiang was being beaten, neither Xia Wan’an nor Han Jingnian made any attempts to react, let alone anybody else.
She had carefully planned for Han Jingnian, yet he didn’t care about her; she strained every nerve to establish a relationship with him, but Xia Wan’an was already his wife...
The rage in Ai Jiang’s chest felt like it was going to burst. Seeing Xia Wan’an’s radiant, calm smile, she fiercely struggled, wanting to tear apart her smile.
But she had been severely beaten by Gao Lin, having tried and failed several tis to get up from the ground. She glared at Xia Wan’an, her look full of venom.
Upon receiving such a look from Ai Jiang, Xia Wan’an wore an even brighter smile.
She didn’t waste any more ti on her. Effortlessly retracting her gaze from Ai Jiang, she walked away.
Gao Lin might not have fully understood the ins and outs of the situation, but Ai Jiang, with her intelligence, certainly could.
Ai Jiang knew for sure - Song Youman had been deceiving her all along. Now she realized, she had been completely outplayed.
From tonight on, she and Ai Jiang, they were officially at odds!
As Xia Wan’an stepped out of the private room, she heard a pitiful voice from behind. It was Gao Lin screaming: "Azhi!"
Instinctively, Xia Wan’an turned back and saw Gu Yuzhi was also about to leave, just passing by Gao Lin.
Faced with Gao Lin’s tearful shouts, Gu Yuzhi hesitated a bit, but in the end, he walked away.
"Azhi, Azhi, Azhi!" Gao Lin, like a madwoman, tried to grab Gu Yuzhi, but his clothes just slipped past her fingertips. She could only keep calling Gu Yuzhi’s na, as if she knew she was losing him for good. In panic, she broke free from the security’s hold, threw herself before Ai Jiang, and began kicking her violently: "Return Azhi to , return Azhi to ..."
As she spoke, Gao Lin suddenly collapsed to the ground, her hands covering her face as she sobbed relentlessly. "I am sorry, Azhi. I didn’t an not to trust you. I was just afraid... afraid that you do not love , afraid when you talk to any girl, I am scared..."
Xia Wan’an watched as Gao Lin cried heartrendingly, montarily losing focus.
