Chapter 17: Family Crest
Kaden stood in the hallway still surprised by the sudden information that Ashly was actually his next-door neighbor. This information wouldn't bother him as much if it would have been anyone else.
'Even Emma would be better than her... wait I take that back, neither would be good.' Kaden thought to himself as he too unlocked the door to his apartnt and walked inside completely exhausted by everything that had happened to him today from eting up with Emma and Ken, to the eting Darius, and finally unlocking his class which seed completely out of any range that he had ever hoped for.
The problem now was whether or not he wanted to reveal his class to the school and if not whether he should ask for Ashly's help. There were many different positives and negatives to both situations he also needed to look at his abilities which he was indeed excited about but he needed a break from everything first and sothing to relax his mind, so he walked into the living room of his apartnt sitting down on the couch and turned on the tv.
When Kaden turned on the tv it seed that it was already on the news channel which would normally make Kaden imdiately swap channels, but the headline made him stay to hear more.
"In today's news, the Awakening Stone owners Japan, Arica, and Canada have begun their awakening ceremonies in the top schools they have to offer but it cos with controversy. Most of you may be thinking, how do we know Canada started? It's because of this report by both Japan and Canada saying that multiple of their S rank potential students and above have been found dead inside their own hos and in the streets. It seems that all of these deaths have been caused by the sa group as the sa mark has been left on all of the bodies. The mark is in the shape of two diamonds intertwined. Nothing else has been figured out about the group but all three countries with awakening stones have now said that they will be looking into it and will find these awful people." The news anchor said with a sad face before the news channel cut to a comrcial break.
Kaden sat on his couch with a blank face thinking over what the anchor just said, 'It's not a coincidence that they are only targeting S rank potential and above students. There's no way I'm going to tell them now!' Kaden thought with slight fear. He had just got his class and to not only lose it but to die now would be awful and would not be sothing he's interested in.
After making up his mind on the subject Kaden headed to his room where his was finally going to look at his starting abilities he got from his class. Once he sat down on his bed he took in a deep breath before opening his class.

The crest is a sign of soone's loyalty and proof of being in the family. For soone or sothing to gain the family crest both parties must agree if the receiver is among the living. If the receiver is among the dead you must touch the floating soul with your hand and think of using your family crest thus making them a mber. To begin your family please think of a family na and crest and it will be applied to your body imdiately.]

[Power In Trust: Everyone in your family will have complete faith in one another allowing you and your army to gain from each other. For every mber that joins your family their potential will increase by an entire rank and those that are far below your current rank will rank up until they are one rank below you automatically. Also for every mber that joins your rank will begin to rise. With each rank having a different milestone.]
The power of Kaden's abilities left him slack jawed. While he may not have gained any combat abilities yet the possibilities with his current ones left him speechless. For example if the highest-class potential owner or now tied for first "Terror" were to join his army then would their potential rise even higher to SSSS ? What about those at A- to A ranks? While A rank is a high accomplishnt the amount of fa and power an S rank has in even greater and more likely to obtain success. Kaden couldn't help but smile at his situation until he looked back at one line on his Family crest ability.
'To begin your family please think of a family na and crest and it will be applied to your body imdiately? Will it just appear on my body?' Kaden thought to himself wondering how such a thing would work but nonetheless there was only way to find out.
Thinking of the exact na and symbol that Kaden wanted to use to represent his future army and family he then thought about activating the ability which made a weird feeling start overtaking his body.

After the family na was established the feeling that Kaden had completely went away making him look all over his body for his crest but nothing was present.
"AGHHHH!" An imnse feeling of pain suddenly struck Kaden's right shoulder making him fall off his bed in pain while his class screen kept going.

Once the family crest was applied the pain Kaden felt went away soon after leaving him a sweaty ss on the floor still rembering the sheer pain he felt monts ago but soon after he sat himself up and looked at the shoulder that caused him so much pain but to his surprise sothing new was there that had never been there before. A smaller tattoo on his right shoulder just above his tricep was present, it was an ace of spades card that had a skull design in the middle.
'Well it seems that it worked.' Kaden thought to himself with a smile.
