"Hmmm?"

I look away from my project and see the crystal sitting on the table shine brightly. I smile a little at the sight of the crystal glowing. That can only an one thing, the enemy has fallen into my trap.

I put four traps that players usually use to defend their guild’s least important floor or location. The ga has four ta-trap plans, and I’m using the most popular, the Scorched Earth Plan.

This plan involves destroying the first floor of your guild base by putting a very powerful explosion trap in the middle of the floor. However, you need to create a Distraction Plan to ensure the enemy thinks it was not a Scorched Earth Plan.

The Fool Plan usually involves many summoning traps that summon many monsters to stop the enemy and make them think that the first floor is to distract the players long enough for the owner to prepare.

Sadly, the biggest weakness of this plan is the Explosion Trap itself. It can only be activated when the enemy touches it. Many players usually put the crystal on the wall where the player can accidentally touch the crystal or on the rope of a bridge. An explosion will happen when the player tries to get across and touch the robe.

A more rich guild usually uses two crystals on a single floor.

My guild has five of them, and now I’m using one. Not only that, but I also use quite a bit of traps in this plan. I don’t want to use all of my guild items if I can, but it was an urgent ti.

Anyway, the most popular explosion trap, the one that I also use, is [Nuclear Explosion]. As the na suggests, it is a trap that creates an explosion the size of a nuclear bomb. It has a large range and massive burst damage with a long damage per second.

Sadly, it takes two seconds to detonate, and a veteran player can cast a buff spell to make them and their party invulnerable to damage for a few seconds. It was a gamble to .

After getting my arm blown off, I’m gambling that the enemy did not have a talent that gave them and their army an invulnerable effect. Even though they can do that, I hope the invulnerable effect can only affect a small number of people or areas, and the trap can kill the rest of the army.

I shake my head and put away the crystal. I will tell the others later. For now, I need to finish this project.

What kind of project, you might ask?

Well, it was a project that would grant a new arm. A fake one but an arm nonetheless.

On the table is an arm made of tal. This item is a Cash Item, a costu that did not contribute anything to the gaplay. I can use this thing to have another arm, but sadly, I cannot use magic through this item.

That is why I’m currently trying to connect this fake arm to my mana core. The human body is unique in this world. It has so kind of thin nerve that connects the rest of our body to the mana core in our body.

This nerve is the one that makes sure we can reinforce our body and make it stronger. What makes matters even more interesting is that the arms have an extra nerve that lets the magic user release controlled mana to create a spell.

As a forr player, I did not need this nerve to cast spells because my talents follow the logic of a ga and its lore. Even when I lose all of my limbs, I can still cast spells because ga logic is not sothing you can stop.

However, I want to study this world’s magic and create a new magic that can mimic the ga’s magic. That is why I modified this [Silver-Link Arm]. Why did I choose this one? Because in the lore, this arm will seamlessly replace my arm, and boy, it works just like that.

I have a couple more fake arms, but they are not quite right. I cannot feel anything when I use that fake arm. This [Silver-Link Arm] makes feel like I did not lose an arm. I can feel any item I hold using this arm, and my balance is restored.

That is only one weakness. It did not let flow magic into it.

That is why I created an artificial nerve made of condensed mana that connects my magic core and this arm. Right now, I’m in the last stage of the experint. I only need to ensure the condensed mana can carry the mana without a problem.

~Four hours later~

I arrive in the training room of my guild base and point my left arm at the training dummy.

The arm is done, and now it needs so testing.

I let the mana flow, and I can feel the artificial nerves made of condensed mana let the mana from my core flow. A few seconds later, a small fireball flew out of my fake arm and hit the training dummy.

I nod in satisfaction.

It is working as intended.

The condensed mana worked as a pipe that let the weaker mana flow and stabilized it for to create magic spells. Sadly, to maintain this condensed mana, it needs fuel, and the fuel is mana. I cannot use my own mana because it will quickly drain my mana as I use this arm daily.

That is why I create a new container on the arm with a jewel that can absorb mana from the air, purify it and store it for the artificial nerves.

Now, it is ti for to return. It has been four days since I asked my father for so ti alone. He hesitates for a few seconds before giving the ti while he and the rest of the people are thinking of a way to attack the Gokuya Kingdom.

The betrayal of their people makes the Southern Noble angry and want to attack the Gokuya Kingdom directly.

I shake my head and walk out of my guild base. When I walk through the portal, I’m standing in the middle of a forest clearing near my hidden garden for the potion-making factory.

I walk to my hidden garden and see the elves look at with happy faces. One by one, they run toward , and the leader of the group notices my arm.

"My lord! You have your arm back!"

I smile at him and let them see my fake arm.

"Sadly, no. This is a fake arm I made in my alone ti."

"I see."

I can see anger in their expressions and later change into regret. They regret that they cannot co and fight with in the frontline. Sadly, they are a hidden army that protects Shadowfall City in case the enemy manages to sneak past us.

I give them a cheerful smile and say.

"Don’t worry about it. In the end, I have a new one, right? Also, this one looks cooler."

I can see them smile at , and after a couple of minutes of saying goodbye, I take the horse they gave to go back to Shadowfall.

The journey takes three hours of horse riding before I arrive in Shadowfall. I blink for a few seconds when I see my family, alongside Jullian and Jonathan, already waiting for at the gate. Huh. I guess the elves inform my family about my arrival.

When I get off the horse, Rachel is the first one to move. She jumps at with a tear coming out of her eyes.

"Brother! You are back!"

I smile and spin her around.

"Yeah. I’m back."

"And you have your arm back!"

I smile at her, put her on my shoulder, and then show her my new arm.

"Sadly, it is not a real one."

"So cool!"

I smile a little and let her look at my left arm. I walk toward my parents and say.

"I’m back, father, mother."

|3rd POV|

The people in the palace of the Gokuya Kingdom are in a panic. While Gwyn is happy that his trap is working, the king and his advisor of the Gokuya Kingdom are not happy with the result of the trap.

They just lost all their army to attack the Gipan Kingdom. A total of ten thousand n were lost in their campaign to the north. However, they are dead not after ten years of a fight, but rather they lose that many soldiers in less than a month of a fight.

They still have many soldiers they can call, but the ten thousand n marching north are the only ones they can move around. The Gokuya Kingdom makes too many enemies, and now they stretch their army too thin because of their newest campaign.

The king is now sweating while sitting on his throne while thinking of the other kingdoms attacking his kingdom.

Two n running to the throne room with a piece of paper in their hands disturb his panic attack.

"Your Highness! Your Highness! A new intel is coming from our spy in the north!"

"Your Highness! Bad news!"

The king stands up and shouts.

"What is it now?!"

The two n look at each other and say at the sa ti.

"The Gipan Kingdom mobilized their army to the south! Twenty-two thousand n are marching to the south, your highness!"

"The Luzia Kingdom declares war against us, your highness! Our spy told us seven thousand n are marching from the northwest!"

The king can only look at the two of them and sit on his throne in defeat.
