"So this is the power of the so-called Sword Saint."

"He deserves that title. There are only a few people who can match him in close combat. Anyone entering his reach will be dead in a second."
"With that kind of person in the South, I wonder why they are willing to ignore the king’s order and attack the South. Even without the presence of Gwyndolin, Lord Alexander’s presence should be enough to make them think twice, right?"
Jon shakes his head and says.
"No. One person is not enough to defend the land, Cat. Lord Alexander cannot be in two places simultaneously, and that is what they think they can exploit when facing Gwyndolin. They attack all the Southern Territories at once. They are thinking that with Gwyndolin busy with the monsters they summon, they can win the war fast. However, they are overestimating their force and underestimating their enemies. A combination that causes their downfall. They believe the South is a barbarian nobility who know nothing of warfare. They believe the propaganda they make themselves, and they pay the price. The South is a Militaristic territory, and there is a reason why they still survive when they are fighting against the monsters and the forr empire."
I nod my head in understanding. You know... The Central Nobles are the people who are rather arrogant according to the ga, but in reality? That arrogance gets cranked to twelve.
In the ga, they are not well-liked by the players, but they are useful to them. Even the Capture Target does not have good things. Only soone who is a masochist wants to capture the Target NPC from that area. All of them are arrogant and only offer a Violent Tsundere service to the players.
Even my family hates negotiating with them, especially when the Southern Healing Potions spread across the kingdom, making their business less profitable. That is what they get for making the price for healing so high that not even the nobles want your service.
"Even when they manage to defeat the others, they need to face Gwyndolin and his inner circle, right? Gwyndolin and his people are strong. They are not as strong as he is, but they can flip the battlefield when they are serious. Julian the Lightning and Jonathan the Shadow Archer. These two alone will be enough to fight against them."
"Like I said, they are eating their own propaganda and think it is the truth. You also forget their elite warriors. They are beasts in a fight, and they can kick the Central Nobles when they fight on the battlefield."
I release a sigh and nod my head.
"What kind of thing do you think the Shadow Guards find in that place?"

"Hmmmm... You are right. However, getting anything that will lead us to sothing that lets us track anyone who works with them will be helpful."

I scream in fright when I hear a stranger’s voice behind . I can see Jon take out his sword, but before he can attack, the stranger puts away his hood, and I can see a familiar face.
"Jonathan? What are you doing here?"
The man in front of is Jonathan, the Shadow Archer, the Left Hand of Gwyndolin. Why is he here? I thought Gwyndolin and his people were attacking the Central Nobles in the south?
"I am here to search for anything that we can use to track the Black Rose, Lady Catharina."
"Right... You said you did not find anything."
"That’s right. We don’t find anything too valuable, but find sothing."
"Oh? Tell us. We have the sa goal, after all. We don’t want this Black Rose to cause trouble against us."
Jonathan looks at us for a few seconds before saying.
"Very well. I found a list of nas that work with them."
"Really?" Jon looks at the man in front of him with interest. "Is there soone I know in that list of nas?"
"Aye. Do you know Lucas Preisner?"
Jon frowns at that na and says.
"The Preisner Viscounty heir? I know his father. He is the Viscount in the Eastern part of the Northern Area. What about him?"
"He is the one who introduces Baron Kulan to the Black Rose. At least that is what these letters imply."
Jonathan gives him a bunch of letters, and I lean over Jon to read them. I read through the letters and frowned a little at their content. They do not say much, but it implies Heir Preisner knows about the Black Rose and the one introducing them to Baron Kulan.
This is bad. That ans the northern nobles are involved in this ss. Or at least part of them work with or work alongside the Black Rose group.
However, there is sothing that catches my attention.
"Jon, look at these. All of those nas are nobles from the Easternmost part of the Gipan Kingdom. So of them even co from other countries, and guess what? They are from the east."
This is good information to have. That ans the Black Rose group cos from the eastern part of the continent, or maybe even from the Eastern Continent.
"That ans they are from the eastern part of the continent or from the Eastern Continent."
"That sounds good, but we are still going in blind, Cat. The Eastern part of the continent is huge because we are the westernmost country on this continent, and don’t get started with the Eastern Continent."
"But we still get sothing out of this. Now we can check on any people with the eastern continent feature."
Jon nods, and I can see gears turning inside his head. He is already planning how to spread his spy networks.
I look at Jonathan and say.
"Thank you for this information, Sir Jonathan. If you have anything else, please inform us."
"I shall do that. For now, I need to return to my lord and fight in the next battle."
We nod and watch him disappear into the shadows, leaving us alone. I turn to Jon and say.
"What should we do now?"
"We will stay here. Even though we get the information we need, we still need to ensure no nobles manage to leave this place alive."
I nod my head in understanding. To ensure no pest appears in your lawn, you must destroy them to the last.
